Great value, very comfortable with beautiful views.
Liked · Good value for the cost. Pool area was clean, really enjoyed the club lounge and the staff were friendly and helpful. The ocean views were gorgeous and it was nice to sit on the balcony and get a break from the wind. Ozzo specifically was a great support. He was friendly and helpful!
Disliked · The maintenance at the facilities could be better. In the room there were very visible cracks and patchwork with just paint. You could also notice in the bathroom by the lobby that the sinks were broken. That said, everything was very clean. It's understandable with such a low nightly rate that the maintenance wouldn't be perfect.

We stayed at Alua Village Fuerteventura and overall had a really good experience. The service throughout our stay was friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is predominantly catered towards French guests, the entertainment team also translated activities and shows into English, which we appreciated.
The food was good, with a different theme each day, although some dishes stayed the same throughout the week. We did try to book the à la carte restaurant but unfortunately there was no availability during our stay.
At the time we visited, only one pool was open and the other was empty, but the open pool was lovely and refreshing. Some music around the pool area would have made the atmosphere even better. The only downside for us was that the outdoor drinks hut stayed closed for the entire week. It would have been really convenient to have it open, especially as it would save having to go inside where there were sometimes queues at the bar.
There’s also a lovely beach nearby, and we’d definitely recommend visiting Caretta Beach Bar, which is about a 15-minute walk away. Great location for relaxing by the sea.

To my experience, I wouldn't ever visit this hotel again. First off, unless you upgrade, you will not receive UHT milk in your room after the first day, and thats what your paying for. The floor was never mopped so your walking around with bits stuck to your feet. We were only given 1 large towel, forgetting there was more than 1 of us! Secondly the food. All the food is uncovered in the snack bar with birds pecking at it, and flies crawling on the bread. Never take it from the top, its always stale. Thirdly, in the restaurant, some of the food labels is incorrect in correspondence with the food. (Hope you don't have allergies!) One of the chef's cooked a lamb chop and said it was turkey! I dont think they know their products. The food is always overcooked(which is a shame) and their chips are pre cooked. The cleanliness around the swimming pool is dirty with loose tiles. Not very well maintained. Entertainment is full of kids working there shouting around when your wanting to relax. Not much to do there and have seen better entertainment at butlins as it is not for adults. Its more teen entertainment. Unless your French, you will no feel welcome as it is clear they do not like the English! They will not speak with you or associate with you. Some of the staff are very rude (again prob because were english) everything is spoken in French and not translated to English. the closest town is about 10 mins away in a car and taxi will cost you around 10 euros and the beach is about 15 min walk uphill on gravel from reception. Unfortunately I dont have anything good about this place apart from the sun and this is why ill never return. At the end when we were leaving, the staff wouldn't give us the time of day and say bye.

Location is best enjoyed with access to a hire car if you want to see more than the hotel and nearby beach.
Rooms are a little tired in decor (particularly bathrooms) but otherwise clean and tidy and the water is hot. Room service is efficient.
Food options are a little limited but this seems to be a smaller resort than some others we have visited. All inclusive food is always a little "same-same" wherever you go but othwrwise its fine.
Indoor pool, suna, steam room, gym, basketball court and outdoor areas are all very good facilities.
My only personal disapointment is no kettle in the room or access to milk after breakfast for me tea. But not the end of the world. i bought some in the hotel shop to keep in the in-room fridge.
I would recommend the hotel to anybody planning to visit

Overall for the value everything about this hotel is excellent! The staff are patient, hard working and kind. The location couldn’t be better.
The views are once in a lifetime, the beds are clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff works hard to keep our sandy rooms clean.
HOWEVER I would say where this hotel severely lacks is food quality. It was extremely repetitive, when food is changed it somehow all still tastes relatively the same. The meat was low quality, dry and not cooked not well. I personally had stomach aches the entire week of my stay and as soon as I got to the airport and ate food not from the hotel, it stopped. For some reason the food served here did not agree with me.
There are many periods of time where the food ran out and is not replaced in a timely manner(sometimes 5-10minutes) and sometimes not restocked. Plates and bowls struggled to be stocked several times where bowls were out.
I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking forward to eating well. You won’t eat well here.
The rooms are also in need of renovations, the bathtubs are full of patchwork and the painting throughout the rooms are bubbling from moisture or just peeling. (Room was clean and comfortable but just aesthetically)
On a positive note, I did not receive one dirty look or have a bad encounter with any of the staff. Reception, cleaning crew, animators, kitchen crew, all hard working people who are patient with all the drunk and rude tourists.
Hotel is well run and they work hard to keep it clean.
I just couldn’t take the food. Other clubs had much better tasting and quality food options available for the same price.
