This hotel was one of the nicest hotel experiences my family and I have had. The staff are friendly, the food is tasty and varied and the pools are wonderful. Many reviews on here bemoan the boring food, but that is categorically untrue. If you wish, you could have a different meal every day for an entire week and still have things left to try. The animation team, although mostly French, were polite, chatty and very accommodating to us Brits. Ignore other reviews to the contrary. My daughter took part in the Mini-club on a couple of occasions and loved it. The pools are very warm and beautifully clean, there was always a sunbed available with no issue and the walk to the beach is, although steep, perfectly manageable for most people. The beer is real San Miguel (not watered down) and is freely available.
The beds are comfortable, the rooms are air conditioned and the shower was powerful enough.
The only negatives I can suggest are that the rooms are a little dated and in need of a spruce up, the inclusive cocktails are arent great, and the hotel could benefit from a second bar in the evenings for guests who don't prefer the entertainment (which can be quite loud).
I wouldn't bother with the My favourite club as it really doesn't seem worth it for what you get.
My family and I would jump at the chance to go next year if we can!

We went to Alua Village for a relaxing break, and got exactly that! The hotel is amazing, with lots to do/not do. The pool area is clean and we always found two beds in an area that was ok for us. The walk to the beach is good, and the beach itself is incredible, with some big waves! The restaurant food was varied and plentiful, and the theme nights were further variations on top of this. Snacks were available whenever we wanted them. Drinks were always available and a good variety and quality!
In shirt, we will be going back and gir longer! Loved it!

4 stars for room because bathroom needs some work. Was visible rust stains and peeling paint. Room was looking perfect, new furniture, tidy.
Personel in the hotel was nice and always helpful. Great animations.
Food very nice. Every evening was different topic of dinner.
Hotel is located close to the beach. If you need some shopping, superstore is also close.
I spend very nice time in this hotel and I can highly recommend 👌🏼

Nice hotel, good food but very steep walk to beach and back. Otherwise there's nowhere really to walk to. There is a bus, but you'd have to be fairly mobile to get to the stop. We had a hire car, which was great. A short taxi ride would take you to a different world at Morro Jable or Mal Nombre.
The rooms were good except there was only 1 drawer and some hanging space. Enough for a short holiday but difficult for 13days.
We were 'My favourite' customers so had the use of a little lounge and terrace all day, which was a godsend. It also meant we had better air-conditioning in our bit of the restaurant, but also meant we had virtually no interaction with waiting staff.
The hotel loudspeaker seemed to have no volume control and it felt like rapid, incomprehensible, instructions were being shouted or music blasting a lot of the time.

We stayed at Alua Village Hotel for 10 days and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is located about a 7 minute drive from Morro Jable. It is a big resort with three outdoor pools and one indoor heated pool exactly as described on most booking websites.
Our overall experience was very positive, and we were truly satisfied with our stay. We’re from Poland but speak English, and although the hotel is mainly oriented towards French tourists, we never felt uncomfortable. Most of the staff speak French, Spanish and English. Most of the animators speaking Spanich amd French but there were also three English speaking animators who made us feel included. Even though many shows and activities were in French, we still had lots of fun and felt very welcome.
It’s good to know that the Kids Club for international (non-French-speaking) children is open only from 10:00 to 12:30. From what I saw, French-speaking children could stay longer and had a bit more organised activities, but I believe this is mentioned on the hotel’s website. Despite that, our son was very happy every time he stayed there, and thanks to the animators Sara and Sifa, he had a wonderful time. He really liked them which doesn’t surprise me, as they had such a great and kind approach to our shy little boy.
The food was absolutely delicious a huge variety, very fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff pay great attention to detail, everything was clean, tidy, and well maintained. All the employees were friendly, smiling, and polite, always greeting us warmly.
The beach is said to be 900 metres away, but it actually feels a bit closer. The hotel is located on a hill, so the walk down is quite steep, though manageable. However, guests with limited mobility should take this into consideration, as walking uphill back to the hotel can be challenging. We had a 5 year old child, and while it was a bit tiring carrying all the beach stuff, it wasn’t too bad.
Since we had a rental car, we often went to the beautiful beaches in Morro Jable, just 12 minutes away, where parking is easy and access is flat.
Overall, we absolutely recommend Alua Village Hotel great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff, and relaxing vibes. For us, it’s a solid 5 star experience, and we would definitely return in the future 🙂
