I had a wonderful stay at this hotel (December-New Year's Eve-January) with my family and friends.
The food was absolutely fantastic — I loved the variety offered each day, with different cuisines that kept every meal exciting.
The staff were exceptional: always friendly, polite, and ready to help with anything.
The New Year's dining and entertainment were also well organized and I was positively surprised.
Our room in the older building was excellent, with a stunning view. My only suggestion would be to consider adding air conditioning to rooms that don’t have it, as it could make summer stays even more comfortable.

Fantastic location with excellent facilities, beautiful very clean rooms and friendly, welcoming staff. So easy to walk to the beach or the shops in Corralejo. The rooftop infinity pool is an amazing feature with incredible views, and the spa is wonderful. The staff in the spa were so kind and patient when walking us through our treatments and the services available at the spa.
The outdoor pools and balconies are well sheltered from the wind by the buildings.
We liked that the hotel has a smaller capacity than the big resorts, it felt quieter and more private.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience deserves honest feedback.
We booked a room with a garden and pool view, however the view we received was of the new block and concrete, which was disappointing. I understand the layout of the building can’t please everyone, and we were very tired on arrival so didn’t raise it. That said, there were empty rooms next to us, so it feels like we could have been allocated the room we actually booked.
The room itself was very clean, and comfortable. The cleaner did an excellent job every day, and I’d like to thank her.
What affected our stay the most was the noise. We came to relax in what is marketed as a ZEN hotel, yet every evening there was loud banging music and screaming directly outside our window. I ended up wearing earplugs every night, which is not what you expect when booking a hotel focused on relaxation.
I would also like to mention that the hotel did not feel like a 4-star hotel overall. While the pictures online are beautiful and inviting, you only realise once you arrive that many of the key features shown, including the infinity pool and certain areas are part of a VIP section. If you haven’t booked VIP, you miss out on these facilities, which is not clearly communicated anywhere during the booking process. This was quite misleading and disappointing.
The waiters and waitresses were very nice, friendly, and attentive. Thank you so much 🙏🏼However, I would recommend additional training in the reception area. I work in customer service myself, and I couldn’t help but feel that because we are part of a younger generation, we were not given the same level of care or attention as other guests. I overheard interactions with other guests and noticed a clear difference in how they were treated. Respect and care should be offered equally to all guests, regardless of age.
For the first time in my life, no one asked how our stay was or whether everything was alright upon check-out, which felt impersonal and disappointing. This is acceptable in travelodge or premier inn style hotel, but not in a 4 star hotel.
The food was overall good, and the spa experience was very nice. The spa lady was kind and the massage itself was very enjoyable.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but better transparency about facilities, fair room allocation, clearer expectations around noise, and more consistent reception service would make a significant difference… Unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone.

From the moment we arrived at Playa Park Sensation, we knew the hotel would be good. The service here is nothing short of outstanding… every member of staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and you can genuinely tell they care about creating the best possible experience for their guests.
The entertainment is great. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gino is an absolute star… brilliant with the kids, full of energy, and genuinely takes the time to include every child so they feel part of the fun. The bingo nights were a blast, and the theatre games were engaging, hilarious, and suitable for all ages. The afternoon games were such fun too… honestly, it was hard to persuade the kids to leave the resort to explore more because they were having such a great time!
The food is Incredible. Every meal felt like a treat, with such variety and quality. And the free sampling of Canadian potatoes in the afternoon was a lovely touch, such a thoughtful extra that made us smile. The bar staff are very friendly also.
Another huge plus… the WiFi. At so many resort hotels we’ve stayed in, the connection can be patchy or unreliable, but here at Playa Park we didn’t have a single issue. Whether streaming, browsing, or keeping in touch with family, it worked flawlessly throughout our stay… a facility that really makes a difference.
The pool areas are immaculate, so well maintained, with plenty of options depending on your mood. Whether you want a lively atmosphere or a quieter swim, there’s a pool for you. It’s clear the staff take pride in keeping everything spotless and inviting.
The rooms are spacious, modern, and sparkling clean. The facilities are thoughtful and practical, we especially loved the extra TV in the bedroom (perfect for winding down at night) and the fact that there’s an iron provided, which is such a useful touch. It’s these little details that make a big difference and show how well the hotel understands its guests’ needs.
Correlijo has always been one of our favourite destinations, but Playa Park Zensation has truly raised the bar. This is hands down the best hotel we’ve stayed in here, and we will definitely be coming back. It’s a perfect blend of luxury, fun, and comfort… a true 5 star experience.

Playa park is a lovely hotel. Room spacious and cleaners were great.
Lots of choice on breakfast Buffet. We booked half board and the hotel let us have either lunch or dinner which was really useful. We walked into town for most of our dinners.
Really well stocked gym- squat rack, loads of bars and plates, dumbbells, machines, hip thrust bench, cardio - really impressed
Used the spa - has a heated pool, sauna, steam and plunge pool. Only has three stone benches so not really somewhere you can sit and read and chill.
Rooftop pool - gorgeous
Lots of room around the other pool, no issues with sun loungers - also spotlessly clean, can see the staff working hard to keep it clean
Have got a useful WhatsApp system where you can text and book things/ask questions
