We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and enjoyed every aspect of our experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was great. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breathtaking view from the balcony. Waking up to the sight of the beach and the sea every day was truly amazing and made our holiday even more special. Thank you for the excellent hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to others! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am a travel agent with 15 years of experience in the tourism industry, and I stayed at whala!beach, part of whala!hotels, in Mallorca for just two days. I fully understood that, for this price, it would be a budget option, but I honestly did not expect it to be this disappointing.
In all my years working in tourism, this is probably the first time in my life that I have written a negative hotel review in a public space. I usually avoid doing this, because I understand very well that every hotel has its own category, price level and standards. However, in this case, the reality simply did not correspond even to basic expectations.
The first unpleasant experience was at reception. I was waiting in line, and when it was finally my turn, the receptionist, Agustin, took my passport to start the check-in process. However, he then noticed a group of young people in another queue who had apparently arrived earlier in the morning and needed to receive their room cards. For some reason, he decided to put my documents and my check-in aside in order to deal with them first, even though they were in a different queue and it was clearly my turn.
At first, he told me it would be quick, but then more and more people joined, around ten people in total, and I was left waiting. I found this very unprofessional and unpleasant. It made me feel ignored as a guest.
Another issue is that, as a travel agent, I had written to the hotel in advance with a polite request regarding the room and some preferences. Nobody replied to my email for four days. When we finally checked in and entered the room, the disappointment was even bigger.
The room was very dirty. There was sand everywhere in the hallway, the room looked terrible, there was mould, a lot of dirt, and the air inside was stale and unpleasant. The overall impression was extremely poor.
As an agent, I always feel responsible for the hotels I recommend to clients. I understand the difference between a luxury hotel and a budget hotel, and I know what to expect from each category. I very rarely write negative reviews, but in this case I was extremely dissatisfied: with the service at reception, with the lack of response to my request, with the attitude and facial expressions of the staff, and especially with the condition of the room.
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not feel comfortable recommending this hotel to my clients.

I gave it two stars just because of the location and staff. Location is perfect, right across the street is the beach and the staff was really polite and friendly. Otherwise the hotel feels like a labyrinth going to your room. The elevator stinks and the rooms are pretty small, no fridge, the balconies are like ur in a prison cell. No safe to leave ur personal items (or u need to pay for it). Overall the hotel is pretty bad.

Overall, my stay was average. The corridors on my floor (2nd) were poorly maintained, and had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom in the room had a bit of that smell too. Everything felt a bit run down except the main lobby and the breakfast room, which were well maintained. Air conditioning worked well and not too loud, which was a plus. However you could hear noises from other rooms at night (poor sound isolation). The breakfast was excellent! 🍳

The staff was friendly, helped us booking the taxi back home.
The hotel was in the center and close to beach.
We could sleep well no noises or lights disturbing us the curtains were good.
Enough space for two.
HOWEVER!
The room was so hot we turned on the air conditioner but still very hot due to the air coming from a small rectangular opening in the beginning of the hall.(tip close windows and bathroom door to make it cool fast).
We never got a clean towels or blankets throughout the whole stay ….every time, there was a stain of different colours black, yellow, red...
The wifi was terrible.
We were surprised by a fee 17.60 € the moment we arrived which was never mentioned, when booking.
We got the see view but we were on the first floors so the view was partially covered by old rusted buildings.
The breakfast was not that appealing, and juice machine was hot .
Pool had dead insects/hair …and was not that clean .
We didn’t consider contacting the reception desk because these things are the bare minimum and basic things to get in any hotel.
