We cannot recommend VidaMar Algarve highly enough — it was truly everything we had ever dreamed of for our wedding. From the moment I first walked into the venue in 2023, I knew it was the one, and seeing it come to life on our wedding day in August 2025 was just magical. The wedding area is completely separate from the rest of the hotel, giving us our own private space, and even the children had so much room to run around safely and freely — it made the day feel intimate and relaxed for everyone.
The food was absolutely incredible. We chose the BBQ buffet option, and every guest, from our youngest at 4 to the adults, raved about how delicious it was. Everything was perfectly catered and thoughtfully planned, making every meal a joy.
George at the venue was an absolute star. He was approachable, attentive, and went out of his way to make both me and my husband feel completely at ease. His support, combined with the beauty of the venue, allowed us to truly enjoy every moment and soak in the day.
VidaMar Algarve gave us a wedding that was seamless, breathtaking, and unforgettable — it was more than we could have hoped for, and we will cherish those memories forever.

Excellent resort, right at the beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The pool area is generous and clean with 2 poolside bars that make delicious sangria. The rooms are spacious with a large sized balcony.
We loved our stay here.

The rooms were obviously designed by a man. The lighting in the bathroom area IS NOT good for applying makeup, there aren't nearly enough hooks to hang wet items without getting other stuff wet and there's no place to hang long clothing/dresses. Only one side of the bed had USB ports in the night stand, the other open electrical outlets are on the desk which is across the room from the bed. That means you have to GET OUT OF BED to silence your device's wakeup alarm. The hotel doesn't have irons and the laundry facility needs 24 hours if you want anything pressed.
All that said, the location is great and beach access is convenientish, our room was a good size and our pool view was much nicer than having to look at the parking lot.

Everything is amazing here. My only negative points are the lack of natural orange juice for breakfast - not to the standard of a 5 star hotel. And also that to get scrambled eggs, one had to go to the omelette queue which was always long and took around 10 minutes.
The rooms are are big and comfortable; the direct accesses to the beach is very convenient; the main pool is huge and always enough sun beds for guests. Had a very relaxing family time and definitely plan to return next year.

An Absolutely fantastic hotel, even though the name change messed me up a bit, finding it. Facilities were great pools spa etc, but the Downside was not having basics like a kettle and iron in the rooms, so they can charge extra is not great for 5 star.
