I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I’m extremely satisfied with my experience. Everything was at a very high level – the rooms were clean and well-maintained, the location is great, and the overall atmosphere was lovely.
The food deserves a special mention – it was delicious and fresh every day. There was always something for everyone. The staff were also outstanding – friendly, helpful, and very professional at all times.
I highly recommend this hotel and would happily come back again!

On arrival at reception, I was greeted by Gema. Who was very professional, and thoughtful. The check in was thorough, and informative. Gema (unlike other colleagues, who were booking in other friends of our group), gave us 6 towel cards in total. So we can exchange our towels, for fresh ones, during our 14 night stay. So if you come to stay at the Occidental Playa Torremelinos, ask for Gema at reception! : DP

The Coralia entertainment team was amazing! Faina, Adhan, Thibault, Hortens and Marco were all so lovely. They made sure we had the best time and helped us make the most of our holiday. They never lacked enthusiasm, joy, or kindness — we truly couldn’t have asked for a better team.
We took part in lots of activities, including water aerobics, volleyball with Faina (which was hilarious!), dancing lessons, disco, and many more. Every activity was fun and well organised, and the team made everyone feel welcome and involved. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable — we will miss you all!

Fantastic stay at Occidental Torremolinos Playa. Stayed with my husband to celebrate a recent birthday. Staff, food & room fabulous. Will definitely be returning. Sara, Lore, Gema & Virginia extremely helpful and pleasant. All very reasonable in cost.

Very restful four day holiday in this modern hotel nestled near the beach. I would argue that the location is perfect because it is near the beach and calm, with no exterior noise, though in order to go sightseeing one had to drive or get an Uber. There was a mini market near the hotel which was very handy in times of need.
Calm, quiet and safe vibe which is a must!
Good spacious room with a modern ensuite and a lovely view overlooking the sea and the palm trees (and the rubbish bins downstairs if you chose to look down). Drying rack built in the wall of the balcony. The shower was tricky to open for the first time. The door to the balcony wouldn't lock.
Good all-inclusive options for food and drinks, with a small snack bar for the time between breakfast & lunch and lunch & dinner. Though if you are an evening owl like me and want to snack, you must prepare beforehand and stash food in the room and their spacious shelves.
Good evening entertainment for the kiddos, which they seemed to enjoy. Good outside seating area. Good facilities of pools and splash zone. Pool towel provided through paying a deposit. There are some resident four-legged pest control team members roaming the property, which provides such a homely touch to the hotel. 🐈⬛️
The one feature that I believe makes this hotel distinct from all my other stays is the delightful team working there, from the housekeeping to the waiting staff, they always had a smile on their face and ready to help. Most importantly, they seemed comfortable and friendly around each other. They seemed joyous to be at work!
Housekeeping standards during this stay were consistently high. Most notoriously, when it had poured with rain, I saw all the team (from housekeeping to managers to waiting staff) pitching in to get the outside area squeaky clean before we could enjoy it. This team spirit is most commendable and most appreciated to see!
I believe that, because my regime was all-inclusive, I didn't get the amenities in the room such as a kettle, tea and cups, which made it most tricky when I wanted tea in the evenings as you cannot take the crockery up to enjoy it in the privacy of your room, meaning I had to drink tea from paper cups. To point out as well, amenities present in my room included a fridge, a safe and a spacious wardrobe.
All in all, what a delightful stay! Will definitely come back, though perhaps later in the season when it's warmer and the weather not changing its' mind every ten minutes.😝
