We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kimpton Atlântico Algarve and were genuinely impressed by every aspect of the hotel.
The location is perfect — close enough to Albufeira to enjoy everything the area has to offer, yet far enough away to feel peaceful and relaxed. The nearby beach is simply stunning, and the hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, with immaculate gardens that make the whole property feel like a true retreat.
The rooms were spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. In fact, the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. The design throughout the hotel is outstanding — elegant, modern, and beautifully thought out.
Breakfast was excellent every morning, and the restaurant was fantastic. We also loved spending time at the Zenit rooftop bar, especially during the happy hour from 5pm to 6pm, which was a lovely touch.
The pools were beautiful, exceptionally clean, and surrounded by a very relaxing atmosphere. The spa is gorgeous, and the gym is one of the best-equipped hotel gyms we’ve come across.
What truly made the stay special was the service. Every member of staff we encountered, from reception to the restaurant and beyond, was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful.
Overall, we had an amazing time and left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already looking forward to returning. A beautiful hotel that exceeds expectations in every way.

Just got home from our stay at the Kimpton Atlântico and had such a lovely experience.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We had requested a king bed in advance (as only twin beds were available when booking), and they kindly arranged this for us, which we really appreciated.
The staff throughout our stay were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
Our room was gorgeous – very modern, clean, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfy, and we genuinely couldn’t fault anything. Rooms were cleaned everyday to a high standard!
The pool area was beautiful, with really nice loungers and beds that made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hotel also has its own private access to the beach, which was absolutely stunning and a real highlight of the stay.
We also really enjoyed the food – everything we tried was great. The rooftop bar in the evening was another standout, with a lovely atmosphere and live singer that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely love to return!

The hotel is lovely. Beautiful setting, with a calm atmosphere and friendly staff. The decorations were a stunning mix of modern and rustic, which I loved. The only issue is that when we booked a BA package, the pricing included breakfast, but when we arrived, we were told it was an additional cost. Quite misleading. I would also refrain from rushing into add-ons at check-in because we experienced miscommunication about how we were pre-paying to then decide later, but these turned out to be non-refundable.

Elisabeth from the Wellness and Bar area was absolutely wonderful. She explained everything clearly and made us feel completely at ease from the start. She is charming, funny, and incredibly kind, and every conversation with her was a pleasure. Her warm personality and genuine hospitality created such a positive atmosphere and made us even more excited about our stay. Thank you, Elisabeth, for making our experience so enjoyable. Had an amazing four day stay at this hotel. We couldn't fault anything. All the staff are lovely and very accommodating. We enjoyed the food and the rooms were spotless. We had a wonderful tour around the spa by a beautiful lady called Elizabeth. Because we were only there for four day's we didn't get the chance to enjoy the wonderful spa & gym facilities. That gives us a good reason to return and have some amazing treatments by the lovely Elizabeth. Hope to see you soon (Mrs Ireland 😊)
