Just got home from our stay at the Kimpton Atlântico and had such a lovely experience.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We had requested a king bed in advance (as only twin beds were available when booking), and they kindly arranged this for us, which we really appreciated.
The staff throughout our stay were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
Our room was gorgeous – very modern, clean, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfy, and we genuinely couldn’t fault anything. Rooms were cleaned everyday to a high standard!
The pool area was beautiful, with really nice loungers and beds that made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hotel also has its own private access to the beach, which was absolutely stunning and a real highlight of the stay.
We also really enjoyed the food – everything we tried was great. The rooftop bar in the evening was another standout, with a lovely atmosphere and live singer that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely love to return!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful — spacious, luxurious, stylish, and truly impressive. It is one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless. We were assisted with our luggage, offered champagne, and personally escorted to our room. The room was large, modernly decorated, spotlessly clean, with many spacious wardrobes — very practical and well thought out.
The bathroom amenities are plentiful and beautifully scented, the bed linen is excellent, and the beds are very comfortable.
The hotel has a private direct access to the beach, which is a huge plus. The exterior is just as impressive: beautiful pool area, elegant furniture, trees, and landscaping — everything is perfectly maintained.
The staff are attentive, professional, and genuinely polite. The restaurants are outstanding, with delicious food. Every day at 5 PM, the hotel hosts a Social Hour, where guests are offered complimentary drinks and light snacks, which is a lovely and generous touch.
One small downside: during dinner, we left cash tips, but service charges were additionally added to the bill without us requesting or authorizing them, so I recommend checking your bill carefully.
Aside from this minor issue, the hotel is a dream, and we are already hoping to return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kimpton Atlântico Algarve by IHG, and I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Estelle at reception. She checked us in with such professionalism, kindness, and genuine warmth that it immediately set the tone for our entire stay. Her customer service was outstanding friendly, attentive, and very efficient. She made us feel truly valued and comfortable from the very beginning.
A special mention also goes to Diego at the bar, who was absolutely lovely. He was welcoming, attentive, and made our evenings even more enjoyable with his friendly personality and excellent service. It’s staff members like Estelle and Diego who really make a stay unforgettable.
The hotel itself is beautiful elegant, spotless, and simply unbelievable. Everything about our experience was wonderful, and you can clearly see the high standards throughout.
Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed at Kimpton Algarve this week and overall had a really great experience. The property is beautifully designed with a relaxed luxury feel, great pools, and an amazing location close to the beach. The atmosphere throughout the hotel feels elevated but still welcoming and unpretentious.
The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and the staff across the hotel were friendly and attentive.
A few food items could use refinement. Dinner felt a little over-conceptualized compared to the more authentic Algarve dining experiences nearby, but the breakfast and service quality helped balance that out. That being said; skip the hotel restaurant for dinner.
Overall, a strong luxury lifestyle hotel for anyone visiting the Algarve who wants modern design, beach access, and a vibrant atmosphere. Would absolutely stay again.
