We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kimpton Atlântico Algarve and were genuinely impressed by every aspect of the hotel.
The location is perfect — close enough to Albufeira to enjoy everything the area has to offer, yet far enough away to feel peaceful and relaxed. The nearby beach is simply stunning, and the hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, with immaculate gardens that make the whole property feel like a true retreat.
The rooms were spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. In fact, the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. The design throughout the hotel is outstanding — elegant, modern, and beautifully thought out.
Breakfast was excellent every morning, and the restaurant was fantastic. We also loved spending time at the Zenit rooftop bar, especially during the happy hour from 5pm to 6pm, which was a lovely touch.
The pools were beautiful, exceptionally clean, and surrounded by a very relaxing atmosphere. The spa is gorgeous, and the gym is one of the best-equipped hotel gyms we’ve come across.
What truly made the stay special was the service. Every member of staff we encountered, from reception to the restaurant and beyond, was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful.
Overall, we had an amazing time and left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already looking forward to returning. A beautiful hotel that exceeds expectations in every way.

We had a great week at this hotel. It is stylishly modern and feels really high spec. Our room was perfect and of the three places to eat and drink are lovely, especially the top floor bar with great views and a cool setting. If the hotel was busy it never felt like it, no towel placing at dawn by the pool required and the service we received was very good throughout. Be aware, however, that good places to eat nearby seemed hard to find - I would not recommend Il Borgo which is a stone’s throw from the hotel. Highly recommended

Our stay at Kimpton Atlântico Algarve was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the entire property impressed us with its elegant, aesthetic design and peaceful atmosphere. It truly feels like a luxury resort—beautifully maintained, quiet, secure, and the perfect place to unwind.
The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making the entire experience feel seamless from check-in to check-out. The beach access was another huge highlight and made it so easy to enjoy the stunning coastline.
The room itself was spacious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel. The spa and wellness facilities were also fantastic and added to the relaxing, resort-style experience.
I would like to mention that the shower and sink faucet had noticeably weak water pressure, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this calibre.
Overall, this is a stunning property that delivers on luxury, comfort, and service. If you’re looking for a peaceful, stylish getaway in the Algarve, I would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily return.

Just got home from our stay at the Kimpton Atlântico and had such a lovely experience.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We had requested a king bed in advance (as only twin beds were available when booking), and they kindly arranged this for us, which we really appreciated.
The staff throughout our stay were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
Our room was gorgeous – very modern, clean, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfy, and we genuinely couldn’t fault anything. Rooms were cleaned everyday to a high standard!
The pool area was beautiful, with really nice loungers and beds that made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hotel also has its own private access to the beach, which was absolutely stunning and a real highlight of the stay.
We also really enjoyed the food – everything we tried was great. The rooftop bar in the evening was another standout, with a lovely atmosphere and live singer that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely love to return!
