A complete disappointment. When we checked into the hotel, we discovered that the lock on our balcony door was not working. We immediately contacted reception and asked to be moved to another room, as we were afraid to stay in a room that was essentially unsecured. Our room was located on the roof, and someone could potentially access it through the balcony. We also felt uncomfortable leaving our personal belongings in such a room.
However, instead of moving us to another room so that we could leave the hotel and enjoy our holiday without worrying, we were told that a maintenance technician would be sent to fix the lock. We had to wait until around 2:00 p.m. for the technician to arrive and repair it.
I’m sorry, but don’t you think that something as basic as ensuring that the balcony door can be properly locked should be taken care of before guests check into the room, rather than after?
Our room was never changed, even though it was honestly terrible. This was an extremely disappointing start to our stay.
On the very first day, I found someone else’s hair and even a false eyelash on my bed. And as for the stains on the bedding, I won’t even get started.
During our entire stay, we never received clean towels or proper housekeeping. The only “cleaning” consisted of making the bed and emptying the rubbish bin. There was no proper cleaning of the room whatsoever.
Literally everything here is dirty — the room, the bathroom and the common areas.
It’s impossible to get a good night’s sleep at this hotel because you can hear absolutely everything happening in the corridors.
The breakfast was another disappointment. It was very repetitive and the food was completely tasteless. I had breakfast only twice during our stay and then stopped going because there was simply nothing worth eating. Even the omelette had absolutely no taste.
During the cleaning of our room, my personal belongings that had been left on the bed — a T-shirt and a pair of trousers — disappeared.
At first, the hotel management told me that the items may have accidentally been sent to the laundry together with the bed linen because they were white. On the day of our departure, however, I was informed that they had not been found.
The hotel made absolutely no attempt to resolve the issue, and no one even apologized. When I complained that my personal belongings had been taken from the room, I was simply told that “this does not happen at their hotel,” which I find very difficult to believe.
Overall, the city is wonderful, the sea is clean, and the weather was fantastic. However, this hotel completely ruined our overall impression of the holiday.

The food is just sad. I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat cheese and there are only eggs and cake for me to eat. Normally I would est chocolate spreat but THERE. IS. NO. CHOCOLATE SPREAD.
I can't help but think about the vegan people in society. They cannot eat the cake, they cannot eat the eggs. The only think they can eat are the rock hard cereals with soy milk. The cereals are disgusting and so hard I was scared my teeth would fall out. Also there are no gluten free options anywhere so no bread and no cake foe gluten free people. And nothing in this hotel is salted. I feel like I am unsalting myself when I eat the food. The diner is not better there are 4 real meals. One with fish, one with beef, one with chicken and one with pork. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO EAT? THE FLOOR. I ate unsalted fries with unsalted hard cauliflowet and unsalted noodles. The only good thing is thw gravy sauce.
The rooms? We found a flippin sock on oue floor. It was not our sock it belonged to someone. We hsve a room for 3 but 2 chairs on the balcony and the water tastes like I am drinking right out of a swiming pool. But the hotel probably think we don't need water with that unsalted food because I feel more hydrated after I ate it!!!

Great location, near to the Santa Ponsa beach.
Big, clean rooms although a bit old. Worse is that you can listen to guess the room next to you. If they are your friends it could be okish, but not ideal.
Staff service overall good, but my low review is due to lack of variety of food, everyday it was the same variety of food for dinner, different kind of grilled fish and meat, but that was it. After day 2 we weren’t looking forward to our food.
Also they asked for a cash deposit for parking remote, beach towels, iron, iron table, … and we stopped asking after that.
With so many of these hotels nearby, I don’t think we will be back on this one.

Wonderful staff, Hotel Plays don't have entertainment or snak bar but you are allowed to go across the road to use facilities exempt restaurant (unless Playa says so) . Pool is ok, a little of sunbeds war in the morning, you will have to queue starting around 08:30 , acces to the pool area is at 09:00 and pool and bar open at 10:00.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Mallorca.
I can confidently say that the hotel lives up to its current star rating, but with a few improvements, it could easily be rated 4 stars.
The room, like in most resort hotels, is not very big, but unless you've brought half your wardrobe from home, there's enough space in the closet and on the shelves for all your things. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit cramped, and the shower cabin might feel too small for larger people.
Upon check-in, you're given reusable cups which you must use in the bars and snack areas. On the one hand, this helps the hotel identify that you're a guest and not someone who just walked in from the street for free food and drinks. But on the other hand, without the cup, you won’t be able to get any drinks included in the "all inclusive" package — you'd have to pay for them.
Regarding the food, after 4–5 days you’ll likely have tried everything available. It would be nice to have 3–4 more dishes to add some variety to breakfast and dinner.
Outside of meal times, you can't get any food except for drinks — you’ll have to go to another building of the hotel, which can be a bit inconvenient and frustrating at times.
On the positive side, the staff are very kind and helpful. They speak Spanish and English, and if needed, there are also employees who can provide information in Polish, German, or Russian. There's a swimming pool on the hotel grounds (open from 10 AM to 6 PM), and also a football/basketball court, which is great for kids or large groups.
The sea is just a 5–7 minute walk from the hotel.
Overall, the hotel fully meets expectations for the price. With a few small improvements mentioned above, it could definitely earn a fourth star.
