My experience at this hotel was extremely frightening. During our stay, a member of our group was confirmed to have been spiked. We went to reception because we were frightened and looking for help as we didn’t know what to do in a foreign country in this situation and was not aware of their health care system . Instead of showing any concern or helping us, we were dismissed, told it “wasn’t possible, to get spiked in a club as you get searched” (we went twice and didn’t get searched) and there was a incident where we saw people with needles inside that very club the basement next door. We thought bringing him to the hotel right next door would be the safest place to be but clearly not. We were then escorted out of the hotel by the security while our friend was upstairs unconscious while all we were trying to do was ask for advice politely.
We weren’t causing trouble— myself (18) girl and my boyfriend (18) went down alone and quietly. we were trying to get help during a medical emergency from staff you are told to trust.. The lack of compassion and professionalism from the reception staff was shocking. Thankfully our friend recovered but with no help to the deya staff, no guest should be treated this way when asking for help in such a serious situation.
I hope the hotel reviews its procedures and trains its staff to respond appropriately when guests report emergencies. A little empathy and guidance could make a huge difference. And I would highly recommend never booking with the deya hotel as it was a complete disgrace.

Stayed here at the end of May for 1 week. The location is amazing. Right on the strip and walking distance of bus and magaluf is 5 mins in a taxi.
The facilities were always clean. The room is very basic but has everything we could have needed (and you get what u pay for).
Overall we were happy with our stay here and would stay again

This is very much a budget hotel. I understand it’s cheap and we did not have high expectations as we paid very little for a 4 night stay. When we arrived we were informed check in was at 4pm, but they said we could go and sit by the pool which we were thankful for. The men on reception pointed to the door for luggage storage and bathrooms and said we could change in there. The bathrooms were disgusting, there were used period pads and tampons on the floor and poo up the back of the toilet. Upon walking to the pool area, there was a strange AstroTurf room with a dog kennel? And it was filthy, rubbish absolutely everywhere. The pool area is really big and was absolutely fine. The rooms were ok, obviously super basic which was expected but you had what you needed. Just a warning however, the walls are super thin and you may struggle to sleep. During our whole stay, no one came in to clean our room but at 7am whilst asleep a lady walked in and put towels in the room, which was really weird. We were never given a door sign to say if the room was vacant or to leave us be. Just felt a little unsettling knowing they were in whilst we were asleep. I also saw on multiple occasions, the cleaners throwing bin bags off balcony’s instead of carrying the rubbish and dirty sheets down. There was a huge pile of bin bags and used sheets which you had to walk past everyday if you were in the 2nd block of rooms to leave the hotel or get to the pool area.
When we were finally able to check in at 4pm it took 35 minutes. The two members of staff were very rude, they did not speak to customers they just gave paper to us and motioned to write. One of the staff members was sat with AirPods in. He then proceeded to sit at the computer for over 10 minutes not talking to us and avoiding eye contact.
On another occasion, one of the girls in our room was unable to get in after a night out as both the others were in the room asleep with the keycards. She was stood in reception waiting with 4 other young girls, as the majority of occupants in the hotel are 16-18 year old Irish teens, and they were being told no one could help as the manager wasn’t present with the master key. However, the ‘security guard’ then proceeded to let a different girl who came in after the rest into her room. After back and forth they agreed to give a key card but asked her to leave her phone with them as ‘deposit’. This did not make sense as once the door was unlocked it would lock again when she came back to get her phone. They also never asked for her name or any details which is concerning. After emotions heightened as staff were incredibly rude and useless the ‘security guard’ threatened to throw her out and then followed her up the stairs.
2 days later once again whilst we all slept in the room, at 4 am a random girl was given a keycard to our room and entered waking one of the girls up. This is scary and a result of staff not asking for ID or proof of a room number.
I would advise to avoid where possible.

Great location great pools..staff on desk were helpful and polite. Rooms basic..bright large good views. On main street. Bit of a party hotel with groups of young kids. Some things in room didnt work..one lift for 8 million guests and all the cleaners to use. Not the best layout. Rabbit Warren of corridors and buildings. Good for young 20 somethings. Very nosey and can hear tunes blasting from clubs outside till early hours. Not too bad for sleeping as rooms at back but still something to be aware..would.not book this hotel.if solo or couple over 30. Staff really good tbouhh..no clean over 4 day stay.

Booked this place for a hen do and was absolutely perfect for what we needed it for. Apartments are spacious, clean and generous balcony sizes. The staff are incredibly friendly and there is a really handy shop within the hotel. Location is fantastic for the beach and a large range of restaurants and bars. Would very much recommend
