My opinion of an apartment with two rooms. Family vacation. 8 days.
Positive: Quiet location, free parking available around the hotel without stress, close to a supermarket (Erosky), if you want to buy food at wlaking distance, close to nice lake, and in an area of Palma much more interesting than the south, like Arenal. The apartment was surprisinlgy spacious, with an open kitchen but well equiped, big refrigetator, Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, almost everything you need. Rooms OK, with nice beds and AC units. Another AC at the big living room. There was a nice balcony with a table and chairs, although our apartment was at the ground level. There was also a laundry space with a washing sink and a washing machine. Very nice. Breakfast was Ok. Not very diversified, but ok. The staff was nice and very helpfull. Pool Ok, but a bit cold and it's proximity to our room was no issue. Plenty of beds.
Negative: Poor sound isolation from above. The hotel is not far from a water residues treatment center and We had a couple of days with a foul smell.
For last, the reason we will not return: It was mosquito's hell! We bought insecticide in spray and the other insecticide that you plug to eletricity. We must have killed over 10-15 per day. We closed our room (door and window) after a killing spree and still they appeared at night. We tooked almost 3 days to finally managed to get a night's sleep without a mosquito buzzing around our ears! And then it was cleaning day! Back to mosquito war! Proximity to the lake, the water center and another lake is the reason. Jesus!

Nice sized rooms, clean hotel, not too noisy, good for family,1km from the beach .On the minus side, the bathroom and kitchen area looks dated,in need of urgent upgrade, maybe they been a hit in 90's,the tiles in bathroom nearly falling off, taps and showers seen better days,i just had a feeling like being hosted in grandma's home. Seeing the pictures from website,i was really disappointed having to spend 2 weeks in that flat, but was nothing to do,they had my money 7 months in advance.

I liked the hotel. Our apartment for 5 people was spacious and equipped with everything necessary. The service at the reception also pleased with the speed of check-in and booking of the return transfer. We came across different employees and all were friendly. Of the minuses, I can name not very good soundproofing. If we were sitting in the living room, we could hear the sound of water in the shower of the neighboring room. But, probably, it is 1.2 km walk to the sea. Although every day this distance was covered faster and faster. But in general, this hotel is ideal for a family vacation. There is an employee at the pool who looks after the children, but probably not only the children, but everyone, this is very good. The area near the pool is small, but nevertheless everything is green and beautiful! There are many sun loungers. We had a good time.

15 minutes walk to the beach, plenty of spaces to park, at the outskirts of town, super quiet at night, away from main roads and the buss of tourism. Spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, lovely area to spend with the family, great swimming pool and plenty of sun-beds, no need to fight for one. Lovely and friendly staff, definitely I'd recommend! And I'll come back again!

We had a comfortable 9-night stay at Ona Garden Lago as a family of five, staying in a 2-bedroom penthouse apartment on the 6th floor. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful, and the apartment itself was clean, spacious, and well-suited for families. We really appreciated the utility area with a washing machine — a huge plus when travelling with kids. One of the highlights was the two-storey balcony, with a spiral staircase leading up to the rooftop — a fun extra space! The beds were comfortable, and I generally slept well throughout the stay.
There were a few drawbacks though. The apartment is located right next to a swamp, and despite taking precautions, we were all bitten quite a lot by mosquitoes. Also, there was no soundproofing — while I wasn’t too bothered, my husband and daughter found the sounds of people running down the corridor and moving about in nearby apartments frustrating at times. Most guests were fairly quiet when returning at night, but if you're sensitive to noise, it’s worth bearing in mind or bring ear plugs.
Housekeeping was minimal: sheets, towels, and bins were changed once during our 9-night stay, which didn’t really feel enough. Next time, I’d bring a few extra towels. The kitchen was also much smaller than expected and not particularly well equipped — no chopping board, for example, and we found a bread knife in the bottom of the dishwasher on the third day, but there were no other knives— so if you plan on cooking, you might need to bring a few basics. We ended up keeping things simple with sandwiches and easy meals like beans on toast.
On the positive side, there’s a brilliant Eroski supermarket almost directly opposite the apartments, making it really easy to pick up groceries. It's worth noting that they had kitchen knives for sale almost the first thing you see through the door, so they must have a lot of requests for them! There's also a lovely bakery next door, perfect for coffee and breakfast in the mornings.
Some parts of the apartment were a bit run down. For instance, a shelf in our wardrobe fell down twice. The staff were quick to send someone to fix it, but it was more of a temporary fix than a proper repair.
Overall, for the price, I would probably stay again — it made a great base for exploring northern Mallorca, which we loved. That said, it’s not somewhere I’d rush back to, as it needed more self-management than I’d ideally want on holiday!
