The hotel is very peaceful and quiet. There was a pool/foam party on for a few hours on one afternoon which gives a little fun! The upstairs bar/ restaurant is lovely and the food is great as are the cocktails. We ended up starting and ending of our evenings there but also had a meal one evening which was really good.
It’s a beautiful hotel, out the way from the busy area and the rooms are great (beds so comfortable)?and breakfast is lovely. Staff are very nice too! Would highly recommend :)

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and in reasonably good condition.
Unfortunately, there were several downsides. Reserving sunbeds at the pool is officially prohibited, yet every morning many guests still reserve them with towels. The hotel should simply remove these towels immediately instead of allowing it. There are also a lot of British tourists, which may or may not suit your preferences.
The breakfast buffet was below average.
As our return flight wasn’t until 8:00 pm, we asked several times for a late check out. In the end, the hotel offered us check out at 11:15 am instead of 11:00 am, which was rather disappointing.
Another thing to be aware of is the rooftop concerts. They can be extremely loud and sometimes continue until midnight. If you plan to go to bed early, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Great stay at Hotel Monsuau, the hotel is a real gem. We will definitely come back again for another stay, just like several of the other guests we met on our holiday.
Though located on the edge of Cala d’Or it’s in a a peaceful and well kept part of the town, with all the main facilities and beaches only a short walk away. The rooms and all the common areas are well appointed and the hotel is immaculately clean throughout. All the staff were delightful, very friendly and helpful. The pool area is well laid out and a relaxing place to be. The breakfast in the main restaurant offers a wonderful selection of food and drinks to start the day. The evening meals in the NUA rooftop restaurant are a real delight, with a stunning setting, a wonderful choice of food and great service from Ariel and his team.
Thank you to all at Monsuau for a lovely holiday.

My sister and I had such a great stay at Hotel Monsuau. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, they even helped us to our room when we arrived late, and sent us off to the airport with a breakfast picnic basket, since we had to leave before 5AM, which was a very thoughtful gesture.
The hotel itself felt very clean and safe, and the free parking was a nice bonus. We especially loved the breakfast—so many options and everything was fresh and delicious.
The rooftop bar and restaurant were definitely highlights of our stay. The food was amazing, and it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a sunset cocktail.
Overall, such a lovely place with wonderful staff, I would highly recommend staying here!

Stayed here for 10 nights loved that it was a boutique hotel so meant less rooms, no rushing down of a morning to get a sun bed. The rooms could do with more storage at bed side like draws not judt side units waste of space really. Glass door on bathroom is no good at all someone needs the toilet in middle of the night light goes on and your woken up. Silly silly idea that glass door.
Rules for around the pool clearly state no smoking ... I went to reception and told them about people smoking and vaping near me and the arms just slightly went up in the air and I basically got told not much can be done unless the staff see! But the 3 people on reception could of come to see... better still there is about 4 to 6 staff on the pool bar of a day mostly all talking amongst themselves really not doing much apart from the hour at lunch... if you actually got the staff to do the jobs properly they would walk around the pool at least once an hour and see the smoking. Also there is a life guard who gets to sit and relax allllllllll day long without doing absolutely anything. Yet you cant stop selfish guests smoking near me to ruin my holiday. So I have to keep moving beds till I find a bed where no body's blowing smoke in my face all day?? What exactly is the point to rules if they just get ignored. The restaurant manager man with dark and grey hair when he is around he made the staff go around the pool and take drink orders... when he is around the staff do some work.. wish id of gone and told him about the smoking and vaping he seemed to be the only one who actually gets the staff to do jobs.
No excuse. Don't need a reply its pointless I know what happened. I got ignored and it was too much effort to even try and attempt to look out for the problem I brought up to you. Other holiday makers will 100%% see how many staff are on that bar of a day and it really isn't crazy busy what so ever. As always rules that are ignored and staff who just won't do anything about it.
It is a nice hotel I cant deny it but when you come away to completely relax and you keep getting hits of smoke or vapes when you dont smoke its not right. Needs to be taken more seriously these people aee beyond selfish and just do what they please. But if staff actually done something these selfish people would actually stop there ways!
