Wonderful Hotel
We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights at the end of July. After reading some negative reviews before our trip, we were a little worried, but those concerns turned out to be completely unnecessary.
We had paid extra for the Favourite Club, and we definitely didn’t regret it. It gives you access to the Fancy Pool area. Although the pool area itself is not very large, it is cosy and relaxing. Families with children are welcome there. The bar and restaurant by the Fancy Pool are excellent, with delicious food and cocktails.
Our family of four was accommodated in the Wave block, while my brother stayed in the Palm block. The rooms were spacious, and we had a huge terrace.
The hotel grounds are large, so even when the hotel is busy, it never feels overcrowded. There are three main pools, plus an additional one if you have access to the Favourite Club.
The Sky block is quite far from everything else. We only went there for dinner, and honestly, neither the block itself nor its surrounding area appealed to us.
There were always plenty of sunbeds by the pools, so there was no need for people to wake up at 6am to reserve them with towels.
The entertainment programme was enjoyable, and the evening shows were very good. The animation team worked incredibly hard and did a fantastic job.
The beach is no more than a five-minute walk away.

I stayed at this hotel from 12/07 to 17/07.
Overall, the hotel is very good. The facilities are nice, and the food is of good quality.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The swimming pool closes at 6:00 p.m., which doesn't make much sense during the summer when the sun doesn't set until around 9:00 p.m. It would be great if guests could enjoy the pool for a little longer.
The biggest issue during our stay was the two power outages we experienced. The worst one happened on Wednesday evening, when the hotel was left without electricity. We had booked an all-inclusive package, but we were unable to enjoy the services we had paid for. We were not even provided with complimentary water and were told that the only water available was bottled water, which we had to pay for. What disappointed us the most was how the situation was handled. We received no compensation or goodwill gesture from the hotel despite the inconvenience.
Overall, we had a good stay, but the way this situation was managed left us with a much less positive impression of the hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay was a huge disappointment from beginning to end. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, nothing went smoothly, and we never felt welcomed or valued as guests.
The check-in process was disorganized and frustrating, and the issues continued throughout our stay. The level of service was poor, staff were unhelpful, and the overall experience fell far below what we expected. To make matters worse, an alarm went off in our room every single night, repeatedly disturbing our sleep and making it impossible to properly rest. Despite this ongoing issue, it was never resolved satisfactorily.
Instead of enjoying our vacation, we found ourselves constantly dealing with unnecessary problems. By the time we checked out, we were simply relieved to leave.
This hotel did not meet even basic expectations for hospitality, and based on our experience, we would not recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay. We hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and makes significant improvements because, unfortunately, our experience was one of the worst we’ve had.

I recently stayed at Alua Calvia and was absolutely delighted. The quality of service, food, and overall comfort here far exceeds the hotel's official rating — you can feel it in every detail.
A special shoutout goes to the team: the staff is incredibly well-coordinated, professional, and genuinely attentive to the guests. The cuisine is beyond praise! Both breakfasts and dinners were amazing, incredibly delicious, and featured a great variety of choices every day.
I stayed as a guest of My Favorite Club and it was worth every penny. The level of service in the club rooms was flawless, and the club lounge itself was absolutely wonderful with a fantastic atmosphere. I have stayed at other Alua properties before, but this one is hands down the absolute best. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic 7 days stay at this all-inclusive hotel. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options available at every meal. The restaurants were well organized, and the service was outstanding throughout our stay.
The hotel facilities were exceptional, including clean and well-maintained pools and comfortable rooms with sea view.
The entertainment team, a specially Rudi did an amazing job, offering fun activities during the day and professional shows in the evening.
Overall, the combination of excellent food, outstanding service, great facilities, and fantastic entertainment made this a truly memorable holiday. We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily return in the future.
