We were a family of 5 occupying 3 bedrooms all situated on the same floor for convenience. Rooms are clean with a good pool balcony & sea view.
Staff are friendly and work hard to maintain the hotel. Especially Albino on the bar, hes very attentive and made our stay enjoyable.
The pools were great, opened at 10am so no silly business at 6am to secure all the chairs. Great pool for little ones with sun loungers in the shade.
Varied entertainment available at the hotel. Plenty of bars along the beach with is a short walk. It's a hill but its over quickly!
As for the food, its fresh and offers choice. For a more choice there are several bars nearby with reasonable prices.
For the price we paid and the location I would recommend this hotel.

Nice enough hotel, good location. Quite a lot of miscommunications between staff/shifts. What was agreed at booking and check in wasn't known by everyone else (largely our half board set up, we had switched dinner for lunch). I am vegan and I mentioned it at check in, before breakfast, at breakfast and at lunch. I do this all the time, to make it easier for all parties and whilst I was assured there were vegan options, there were not. Despite was looks like a large and well labelled buffet, it's just the hotel logo repeated over and over, what would help especially with the language barrier, would be labels indicating egg, diary, meat inclusions, for vegans/veggies but importantly for all allergies. It was a minefield, despite there being posters outside the restaurant mentioning allergen accomodations. There was a well indicated gluten free section and actually a decent amount of dairy alternative milks but that is it. Hot food, especially at lunch is a no go for vegans/veggies (I'm glad we ate out for dinner). I'd also seen reviews of the housekeeping leaving cigarette butts in rooms during cleaning and had hoped that was a one off but nope we got cigarette butts in the toilet most days, a simple flush and I'd have never known but that wasn't the case. The pools are lovely, but towel hire isn't made immediately obvious anywhere - it's actually free/included, just hand over the room key holder to receive your towels. Poolside bar is a good addition, great drinks at decent prices and free cool water taps, perfect and necessary!

We stayed at Ilunion Torrenova Palma for one week on a family vacation and booked the full board option.
There was a good variety of food throughout the week and it was nice that the hotel also offered snacks between meals. Guests with half board or full board receive a wristband which makes access to the restaurant and snack bar very convenient.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. They were happy to help whenever we needed anything, and they created the relaxed holiday atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re truly in Mallorca.
The location is another plus. The beach is only a 5–10 minute walk away, and there are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and bars nearby. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value for money and is generally a good choice for families.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Ilunion Torrenova to anyone looking for a comfortable, great value hotel with excellent staff in a good location.

We’ve just come back from a week stay at the hotel and it’s definitely a mixed bag and not a 4 star hotel. Before arriving we were worried about the recent reviews and unfortunately majority are largely correct. The first day we had ants in the room, which one of the lovely cleaners hoovered up but they were a constant reappearance throughout our stay and we were on the 7th floor! Our room was a double room with pool view, however we also had two infants with cots and the room was no where near big enough with the cots included. Both our boys are nearly 2, and with being on the 7th floor we were unable to open the balcony door with the fear of something happening. The room it self apart from the cots and the location was okay and would be fine for a couple. The hotel states that it’s good for families however we definitely woudnt recommend the hotel to anyone with kids under 10. There are three pools, one splash which was good for the kids but far too much for our two year olds and adjacent small park next to the pool. The play equipment too big for our two year olds and the play area is not fenced off either so we’re unable to let them run around without fear of them falling in the pool. There is another slightly larger pool for older children and a large adult pool, there’s no issues with these pools themselves. The biggest issue we had with the pools was the access, we had a double pram and the ramps leading down to splash pool zig zag across the other two pools leading you to have weave in and out of sun beds and other people it’s a fair old work out just to get down let alone back up to the hotel. Also at the end of our corridor the fire doors were open all the time meaning the staircase was fully exposed all the time so we couldn’t take our eyes of the children incase they tripped or ran down the corridor. The evening entertainment was weak, the staff did their best but every night drew a minimal crowd and there was no entertainment for adults. Credits to Sally her enthusiasm shone threw with the kids. So then this brings us onto the food, the first few days it was okay at best but then it becomes very monotonous and every day was practically the same, with many items not being labelled so end up guessing. Many of the food items just didn’t complement each other for example just having burgers but no bread or cheese to make burgers… There were also no real kids items apart from picking bits off the buffet. There was a kids section but it remained empty, the entire stay so not sure if it’s even in use anymore. My partner also experienced quite a few rude or unhelpful staff in the restaurant with a few not interested in helping her which was disappointing. The location of the hotel is great if your physically fit but if you have a pram or physical issuesI would not recommend the location. The hotel is on top of a steep hill, with a walk about 5 minutes down and about 10/15 back up depending on your pace. In terms of noise we had no issues, during our stay there were quite a few 18-21s who were lively but we never heard anything during the nights, but as reported by others the walls are paper thin we could often hear the TV in the next room. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to families with kids under 10 and it’s definitely not a 4 star resort and would not return.

The best thing about this hotel apart from going home is the staff who are polite and respectful. The cleaning staff deserve a reward for the cleanliness. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The rooms are very very basic and although boast a hospitality tray you get one coffee, yes one between you and a few fruit teas. .... the food in the restaurant is basic and cold. Even the hot section is cold. There is no air conditioning apparently until height of summer, not helpful when its hotter than hades in rooms. There is also NO wellness rooms, so even though the website boasts of it and its open 10am till 4pm every day IT DOESNT EXIST. Kids club didn't exist either when we were there....obviously again a summer thing. The kids pool you have to dodge swarms of ants....the Snack bar is actually better than the restaurant but very limited. The *All inclusive * option is a joke, coffee only available for breakfast, fizzy pop available....great for toddlers NOT and only three ice creams...alcohol was limited but that didn't bother us. For advertising its a family resort it was full of hen dos and stag dos and couples there for sun and drink....1000% not a family hotel and absolutely NOT a four star....whoever gave them that rating is taking a bribe. It's a two star at best, more a one
