Here for work so didn't have to worry about the logistics of the trip but the staff were fabulous; they really took the time to make sure you were well looked after and were accommodating to guests needs.
The hotel was very nice; very clean and modern. It was a bit noisy for my liking (mini fridge, sound from neighbouring room's fan, and vent from outside leading to the kitchen) but overall, I'm really pleased with my stay here. The food at the hotel restaurant was some of the best I had all trip!
Couldn't fault the location; we were right on the beach!

From booking my holiday minute and picking the Meliá Calviá Beach was the best decision ever. The location is 25 minutes from the airport and the minute you walk into the hotel you’re welcomed by the smell of rituals and smiling faces. The lady at reception couldn’t have been nicer (so sad I didn’t get her name) she went through everything with us. When you leave reception you see on the right a lovely seating area and big beds to chill on
Noelia helped organise the room for my husbands birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint. Thank you so much Noelia ❤️
The bedrooms were conjoining for myself and family. The room was perfect. The balcony had the sun shining in it and the views of the sea were stunning.
The pool area is beautiful too. A little cold to go into but the sunbeds are so soft and comfortable to lay on in the sun. There was an indoor pool to so my children were delighted also a 24 hour gym. Therefore it suited all my family with different ages.
When you walk. Away from the pool there’s a small gate and after around 10 steps from there your on the beach.
The location is unbelievable - restaurants snacks and shops in walking distance.
I’m so happy I’ve found this hotel - I can’t wait for is to visit again

My wife and I visited Melia Calvia beach hotel to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and also as new travel partners, we wanted to experience what the hotel had to offer and we were pleasantly surprised.
From the wonderful and ever so friendly hotel staff, to the numerous events and activities they had going on, there was something for everyone, regardless of age or interests. Wine tasting, art class, dancing for kids, fun and games, outdoor gym class, they had it all.
The hotel has beds at the reception area should you decide to relax in that area for something different. My wife and I love the beach, and the hotel was right at the beach, so you could just take a stroll along the beach and enjoy the view.
It was so lovely and we can't wait to visit again.

Writing this at 6am after staying awake all night. I’m here a week before the summer season starts, and this has been a recurring problem for me for the past 6 nights. They haven’t turned on the air conditioning, and it’s hot in the rooms. Opening your patio door is a way to bring down the temperature, but unfortunately there’s an actual farm (with horses) on the property next to the hotel, and the dogs bark frequently. This is in addition to the random loud guests entering and exiting. The maid service begins promptly at 8am each morning, and if you are unfortunate enough to still be asleep by then, you won’t be for long.
The rooms are otherwise fine, even above average. The bathroom is serviceable, except for the shower, which goes from maximum to minimum temperature every 15 seconds. So you get about 10 seconds of time under the water every minute. This makes showers drag on much longer than necessary as you dodge in and out of the water.
The buffet and bar are top notch, and the facilities are otherwise excellent. The gym has a smith machine, dumbbells, and some older machines. It’s totally fine. They have several pools and the beach is a 3 minute walk from the back of the hotel. The conference space is excellent, with the exception of the microphones and lack of air conditioning. The catering was also very good.
I use my room for two things - sleeping and bathing - and Melia Calvià Beach was inadequate for both of those tasks.

The buffet is disappointing and limited.
Rooms are clean but very small and the shower either scalds or freezes.
We were extremely disappointed with the support provided by the Melia team involving an incident with another guest. Rather than managing a traumatising situation well they allowed it to escalate, providing a platform for bullying and intimidation.
Magaluf is shameful with shops displaying T-shirts featuring abhorrent slogans. How a family hotel can be located here is beyond me. It is not a safe environment for children.
We will not be back.
