A really well designed and African themed hotel. A lot of thought has gone into this massive Lopesan hotel with large pools, mildly heated and a lazy river too. The rooms and walkways were a bit tired, can do with an update. There were occasional wall paper off the wall. The staff and service was good, also used the Lopesan app to request few room items. I found it odd that the pool towels were only given out between 10am-12 pm from the pool huts, however they were available from the reception. The food and the spread during the breakfast was good, the staff and chef were friendly and accommodating. The entertainment every night was good and as of a varied theme. What I loved the most was how when you walked through the entrance, the greenery and the waterfall transported you to the another world and felt relaxed and happy straight away. The hotel is close to promenade, restaurants, Maspalomas beach, famous dunes and a bus station for buses to Puerto de Mogan and Puerto Rico. Overall we had a good stay and holiday with family was good.

Excellent service, friendly staff, amazing food, beautiful pools, and impeccable cleanliness throughout the rooms and the entire resort.
The only areas for improvement are the sun lounger situation, as many are reserved with towels for hours (staff place notices saying the towels will be removed, but they never are). We also experienced cigarette ash falling onto our balcony from guests smoking on the balcony above us, despite the resort's non-smoking policy and the designated smoking areas available.

We had a great time at this place. Our son loved the mini disco at night and the girls who did the kids club were amazing! The staff was quick, nice and helpful.
The breakfast was great. There was nothing missing.
The place is simply amazing with a great pool area with lots of shade and places to relax. There are so many pools, that there is a perfect place for everyone.
The rooms are not perfect for families, as the bathroom doesn't have a door and you can not switch on the light on the toilet without switching it on in the hallway. As well the light in the shower lights up the whole room...
Everything else: simply great!

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was for an overnight stay and this last time was on a day pass. The rooms are great, but I think that given the hotel’s standard and price, everything should be better maintained. There’s some workers that even if you speak to them in English, they answer in Spanish. The breakfast buffet is very good, but the lunch buffet is rather limited and has very few vegetarian/vegan options. I think it should be better given the price. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a hotel to relax in, this isn’t the place for you. There are an overwhelming number of families and children everywhere. I think they should set up a pool and an area exclusively for adults. Also, there’s a lot of sunbeds that are ‘VIP’ for Unique clients, they don’t say anything in the booking about it. After this day pass, I definitely don’t think I’ll be returning.

Firstly, it’s a 15 min walk from the beach. 5 star hotel. And public beaches here. Bear that in mind. Secondly, the hotel is African motif so don’t expect everything to be modern or up-kept. Then out of the 7 restaurants, only 2 are included in the full board, so basically no point getting full board. The restaurants are buffet, one quite good, second is the extension (as you do have to queue for a table) tailored to children. Shower and toilet separate, with the shower room having a semitransparent glass partition to the room. Bear that in mind too if travelling with children. Service… well, first day, but gathered it was going to be “great” by the face the receptionist pulled when he saw our room number. “Canary islands 1 minute” was the first phrase we heard when waiting for our table. Can’t wait for the next 10 days.
