The rooms feel like a museum rather than a hotel room — extremely old, poorly maintained, and with a strong smell of damp and mold.
Cleanliness is a serious issue throughout the hotel. Nothing seems to be properly cleaned and many areas are simply dirty.
Breakfast is very poor, with limited variety and low quality. The pools are also neglected and do not look hygienic at all.
This was my first trip to Greece and unfortunately it turned into a huge disappointment because of this hotel. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

Stayed here for 14 nights breakfast included. Although we stayed up so late every night we didn’t get chance to sample much breakfast but what we did have was a lovely selection of both hot and cold foods. First few days we spent around the pool which has a lovely cocktail bar and hot food options. The room was nice enough, however the 2 beds together was a nightmare and no matter how we tried we couldn’t both cuddle up. The staff were amazing, helpful and tried their best to make the evenings enjoyable for both adults and kids.
Mini market on site is also very handy. Good selection of items you would need.
Negatives:- our room didn’t have the option to not ask for housekeeping, this button outside the door didn’t work. Every morning you’re woken by housekeeping, which is fine for those getting up for breakfasts but if you’re trying to enjoy a lie in past 9am forget it. You can also hear them clean all the adjacent rooms from 7am onwards.
WiFi is also chargeable, there is free WiFi but it’s not great, this is charged per device. At €15 for 2 weeks it’s an added cost.
The main bathrooms were also in a poor hygienic state, every time they were used they were dirty, had no hand towels and a hand dryer that was as much use as me blowing on them.
Overall it was ok, but I wouldn’t stay again, it’s too far away from most things. If you’re happy to chill in a hotel then it’s fine, but if you want a nightlife and different food then it’s not the right place.

We looked at alot of mixed reviews prior to our booking, but we have been pleasantly surprised with our stay. We found the room spacious en well equipped, staff are super friendly and helpful and we were here just out of peak season, so the resort wasn't over crowded and made for an amazing and relaxing experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the new cocktail bar and spectacular views. Easy access to bus service and conveniently located to get to most major tourist spots in 30min to an hour if not less, if you hire a car. Would definitely stay here again!

Just got back from a lovely 5 night stay at Kresten palace with my partner for his birthday. All in all, the trip was wonderful, the staff were friendly and accommodating and extremely helpful with providing information regarding buses and taxis.
We had breakfast included which was a brilliant selection of hot and cold food including fruit and cereal. We also paid €20 each for an evening meal in the restaurant which was a great option for us. We also had a meal and drinks in the cocktail bar.
The hotel has a luggage room for after you check out if you need to wait for your transfer, this makes it easy to enjoy your last day before your flight home.
The only issue was that I payed extra and booked a room with a terrace/balcony and sea view, however our room just had 1 small window and no terrace or balcony and overlooked the car park at the front of the hotel. When we got to the hotel, it was very late and we just wanted to go to sleep but I’m sure if we bought this to the attention of the staff, this would have been resolved but it wasn’t a major issue for us and I think was an error on the brokerage side than the hotel themselves.
I was a little apprehensive about our stay given the reviews I had read before the trip, but I can honestly say the hotel was amazing and we had no issues ( other than the room, but again, i think this was more of a brokerage booking error).
We will definitely be revisiting !

We stayed at Kresten Palace for 9 nights while getting married in Rhodes , a place we absolutely love. Unfortunately, we chose the wrong hotel for such an important occasion.
The rooms were outdated, especially the bathroom, which would be more fitting for a 2-star hotel. The walls were very thin, and every morning we could hear people walking in and out or the cleaning ladies talking in the hallway, AC broken, water pressure low.
Good thing, we had mosquito nets. The cleaning ladies were friendly.
The food was actually good, at dinner you have to pay for drinks- quite expensive but we were happy with it overall.
We had major issues with two members of staff that really ruined the experience.
1️⃣ The first was a waitress (short and overweight, slick black hair, heavy makeup, not wearing a name tag ). She was extremely rude and unprofessional towards us several times. She told us off for placing an extra plate on a nearby table because she “didn’t want to clean it again,” even though she hadn’t cleared ours. She seemed more interested in flirting with a colleague than doing her job. Another time, she spoke very aggressively to my partner just because he took a fork from her cart. After three unpleasant encounters, we decided to move to another area of the restaurant and thankfully, the other waitresses there were much kinder and professional.
The manager should have a discussion with her, to watch her nose and do her job better.
2️⃣ The second issue was with Nona at the reception. On my wedding day, I asked for a few glasses in the room so I could celebrate with my mum and bridesmaids while getting ready. She refused, saying we could only have glasses if we bought an expensive bottle of champagne from the bar — which we did. Half an hour later, she sent someone to collect the glasses before we even had the chance to use them. When we explained politely that we needed them for just a couple of hours, she started calling our room repeatedly to pressure us to return them. It was unnecessary and quite unpleasant, especially on such a special day.
Some staff members were lovely and helpful, but others completely ruined the experience. We definitely would not recommend this hotel, especially if you’re celebrating something special or expect to be treated with respect after paying a lot of money.
