Truly a harrowing experience at this hotel. We checked into our “non-smoking” room after check in time to discover a cigarette smell so strong that a cloud of smoke might as well have left the room when we opened the door. We opened the balcony door and immediately advised reception that we would have to move rooms if the smell was still there on our return that evening. We were told this would be fine. A few hours later we returned to the same strong smell, even after housekeeping has supposedly attended. We again went downstairs to the lobby to report this, however this time we were told that the hotel was full and we were unable to move until the next day - we were never able to move even the following day due to high occupancy. My partner and I ended up buying air freshener just to be able to sleep that night. A bad smell would not warrant such a scathing review, however that was just the tip of the iceberg. Snot from the previous guests was still on the walls of the bathroom. Large puddles of water were left by the bed and bathroom; a safety hazard if someone less stable on their feet was to check into that room. Worst of all however, the mattress protector was not changed from the previous guests. Suspicious stains, dead skin and hair were littered all over the sheets. At this point having visited reception 3 times for things that should have been addressed before we even checked in was exhausting. Housekeeping finally attended to the issues we reported after much back and forth with receptionists that looked like they were completely mentally checked out. It seemed there was only one helpful person at the front desk. I had informed them that we would be requesting our first night be refunded from Booking.com as I honestly felt disgusted to even lay my head on the pillow. We ended up getting a measly 58 euro back after paying 350 euro for our accommodation. No offer of further compensation and no answer from the hotel itself, just a generic apology email from the customer service team at Booking.com. I would advise you stay anywhere but here.

The hotel is in an excellent location, conveniently close to local amenities and just a stone’s throw from the beach. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The pool area is spacious, with plenty of sunbeds available—each benefiting from all-day sun exposure.
One drawback, however, is the gym. The facility is significantly under-equipped for a 4-star hotel. It features only three sets of free weights, with the heaviest being 10kg. Additionally, the benches are outdated, and the treadmills were not functioning during my stay. As someone who enjoys maintaining a training routine while on holiday, this was quite disappointing. I ended up using a local gym nearby, which offered far superior facilities.
A noteworthy perk is the hotel’s private beach access, which includes complimentary sunbeds. However, this feature is not advertised or signposted, and I only discovered it by chance.
The buffet is of a good standard, with high-quality food, and the staff throughout the hotel are friendly and attentive. One area that could use improvement is the air conditioning in the communal spaces. Unlike other hotels I’ve stayed in, the lobby and shared areas here were uncomfortably warm, despite AC units being present—they were simply not switched on.
Overall, the hotel enjoys a fantastic location and offers a pleasant stay, but a few improvements, particularly to the gym and communal comfort, would elevate the experience significantly.

Positives:
The location is amazing! 😊 The pool is gorgeous, very clean, and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. Our room was spotless with plenty of space, and the bathroom was large with a nice walk-in shower. The staff were helpful, especially the cleaning team – they do a fantastic job!
Negatives:
We chose the all-inclusive option – don’t do it. For beer drinkers, there’s only one beer on draft, and it’s not even the local one. The cocktails are awful, coming from a machine and served in terrible plastic cups. The food was disappointing overall. I asked for ice cream and was told it’s only served at 4 PM. When the time came, the queue was around the corner – it honestly felt like feeding time at the zoo. Lunch was awful, and dinner was only occasionally okay.
We ended up eating out most nights – the restaurants on the strip are all fantastic. It felt like the hotel didn’t really want you to eat or drink there.
I would stay here again for the location and the facilities, but I definitely wouldn’t choose the all-inclusive option next time.

The Ada is in a good position for Marmaris. The entrance is welcoming and the staff were pleasant. The rooms are lovely and cleaned on a regular basis. This hotel is adult only which we enjoyed. No entertainment at all. We went in April so no issues with sunbeds.
The only negative we had was 7 out of 10 days we had no hot water. We asked several times for this to be looked in to, but no one came or sorted it. In April you do require hot water.
Marmaris is so expensive. If you want to shop, take the bus to Icemeler because everything is half the price.

I stayed at this hotel in Marmaris. The room and the pool were both very clean, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend the hotel from that perspective.
However, the food quality was quite disappointing. Also, if you order anything at the pool, you have to pay immediately as they don’t allow charging it to your room bill, which was a bit inconvenient.
Another downside was the language barrier—most of the staff barely spoke English, which is surprising and problematic in such a tourist-heavy area.
Overall, the stay was good, and the staff were friendly, but there’s definitely room for improvement in service and food quality.
