We stayed at Hotel Ivory Playa from 3rd to 12th June last year and had an absolutely fantastic experience. It was the perfect early-summer getaway for our family.
The location is excellent – just a very short walk to the beautiful Playa de Muro beach with its soft sand and shallow, crystal-clear water. In June the weather was ideal: warm and sunny but not overcrowded, which made everything even more enjoyable.
The apartments were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the kitchenette, which made traveling with kids much easier. Housekeeping was consistent and everything was very well maintained.
The staff truly made the difference. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. From reception to the restaurant and cleaning staff, you could feel that they genuinely care about guests.
The breakfast and dinner options were varied and fresh every day. There was something for everyone, including plenty of choices for children. The pool area was clean and never too crowded, with enough sunbeds available. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed and family-friendly.
We also loved the small details – bike-friendly facilities, activities for kids, and the overall calm, welcoming vibe.
Overall, Hotel Ivory Playa is a fantastic choice for families looking for comfort, great service, and a perfect beach location in Alcudia. We would happily return again!

We first visited this hotel in 2017 and have been coming back every year since. It is our favourite place to stay and holds so many happy memories for me and my family.
The location is perfect, right next to a beautiful beach, and the atmosphere is always calm and welcoming. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and they always go out of their way to make our stay special.
A very special thank you to Mr Francisco, who has become a dear friend over the years. He always greets us with such warmth and genuine care, and he is a big part of the reason we keep returning.
The Ivory Playa Hotel is a wonderful place for families, and we could not recommend it more highly. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Engineer Gone Hungry
We booked the hotel at the last moment and it truly didn’t disappoint us. Location is just so perfect and only 2 mins walk from the beach.
Rooms are sparkling clean and the hotel staffs were so friendly, always greeted with a smile which is so great to experience. Even the pool bar counter is so awesome and the lady there was very sweet and kind.
Overall a wonderful experience and worth every penny. Would definitely return back and highly recommended to anyone. Bus stop, restaurants, supermarkets are just a stone away from the hotel.

Mould, mould and more mould and hidden extras, be careful. So stayed here for 5 nights an mould is a major problem and I would say dangerous to someone asthma or related issue. In the bathroom as they have no extraction, instead a humidifier which fills twice a day because there is that much moisture from the shower room in the air. Also charged 20 euro for a cot we did not request and which our son didn’t use. We asked for a late check out and was quoted 70 euro even thou the room was not re booked. Took children’s water bottles to breakfast to be filled and was told “not possible”!!! What really, you deny children a drink of water???? When ordered kids menu at the pool bar was told no ice cream for kids but could have extra soft drink even thou they had ice cream in the dining room every evening. Overall poor experience. Attention to detail is lacking here and usual arrogance that they can’t treat customers like this is not acceptable at all. If I glimpses the manger at the end of our stay in his pjs and as usual not a manager to be seen over the whole stay, hiding in the background. Shout out to Reuben thou who did look after us very well and was always respectful. Too add when asked reception to change bed sheets as most of the family members had bites there was some confusion with 1 of the days the rooms not been serviced. This hotel is 2 star at most and we will not be retuning.

Very friendly staff throughout, pool, sauna and spa facilities great my better half said. Just round the corner to the beach but the two pools and plenty of loungers were also an option. Parking was plentiful but it's not on-site, it's street parking.
My only gripe was apartment doors didn't have slow/soft closers so everyone seemed to slam their doors shut and children running, screaming & crying up and down the corridor often (not the hotel's fault this bit mind but some signs or comments to people on check in to be considerate).
