In my opinion, this hotel is underrated in its level. It is located in a quiet and peaceful place by the sea. Gorgeous view from the room. I understand that not every room has such a look. The rooms are a little outdated, but they perform their functionality 100%. I was very pleased with the staff, the problems with the shower were solved within half an hour. The receptionists are polite and courteous. The food is delicious. The selection is not large, but the quality and taste are very good. The hotel is very conveniently located for tennis players who come to train in the Tenerife Tennis Academy. I recommend this Hotel.

The staff at HOVIMA Jardín Caleta once again surprised us with several thoughtful gestures, it truly is a joy to return to this hotel! Beyond its exceptional location, I would like to highlight our consistently positive experiences with the hotel team. Their kindness and helpfulness towards guests feel completely natural, whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or from the technical staff.
What also greatly contributes to our comfort as guests is that, despite the inevitable staff changes over the years in such a demanding and challenging industry, the excellent cooperation and communication among the team members have remained intact. It is always a pleasure to feel this harmonious atmosphere and this stay was no exception. Congratulations to those who have managed to maintain this standard for so many years! Thank you and my best wishes to all of you!

Me and my partner came here for the first time.
Staff were lovely and friendly.
My partner recieved a surprise on his birthday which was so lovely of the hotel to do.
We went for a swim and staff got us really moving in the water dancing.
Food is buffet style pretty good selection.
The staff are amazing the rooms are clean.
Only thing I could say was a con was the single bed were put together and when moving they moved other than that. Was great

A lovely Spanish style hotel immaculately kept in a good area with some great local restaurants. We enjoyed the morning stretching and fun at the pool with Amanda from the Ents Team who encouraged us to join in. Very friendly place and would definitely recommend. Also loved the adults only terrace area and table tennis.

We would strongly NOT recommend staying at “Hovima Jardín Caleta”.
We spent one week at this hotel during Christmas 2025. This was our second stay — the first one was three years ago. Back then, we liked the hotel mainly because of its quiet, uncrowded location. Unfortunately, a lot has changed over the last three years, and not for the better.
We booked the trip through a travel agency with an HB option (breakfast and dinner included) and paid a deposit. Later, we were contacted and informed that we had to pay an additional €80 per person for a mandatory Christmas dinner. This fee was not optional. €80 per adult and €80 even for a child.
We were traveling as a family of two adults and one 8-year-old child. We could not understand why we had to pay extra, since dinner was already included in our booking. However, because we had already paid the deposit, we were forced to pay an additional €240 for this so-called “special” Christmas dinner.
Before December 25th, all guests had to register for the Christmas dinner. Half of the hotel was assigned a dinner time at 18:30, the other half at 20:00. Around 18:30, a large crowd gathered near the dining area. Despite this, hotel staff allowed entry only at 18:40. We were left waiting outside like animals.
When we finally entered, we expected something special — maybe a few additional dishes. Instead, it was exactly the same self-service buffet as on any other day. The only difference was the addition of shrimp and salmon. The salmon was extremely dry. My wife couldn’t eat it, I had to drink water with it, and our child barely ate anything. And this was supposed to justify €80 per person.
As a “bonus,” we received half a glass of wine.
Nearby, we saw a five-star hotel offering a Christmas dinner in an oceanfront restaurant with three courses for €32 per person. When you already have dinner included and are then forced to pay €80 extra — even for a child — for absolutely nothing special, it feels like a complete lack of respect for guests.
If you have money and no self-respect, you may choose this hotel. Otherwise, avoid it. There are many better options nearby.
