I absolutely can recommend this hotel, it may be not the most modern building but it’s clean and comfy. Food was absolutely amazing for an all inclusive, thank you chef Benjamin! Hotel is super close to the beach and to the restaurant and cafes. Hotel service was rally nice and helpful. Also all the waiters and bar staff. Gracias a Jorge y Zack ❤️

We stayed her with a group of 10+, lovely staff can not fault them, cleaners, bar staff, dinner service staff and staff on reception always lovely and made an effort to say good morning and good afternoon. Always made a fuss of my little boy! Rooms are cleaned daily too! However the food certainly lacks verity especially for young children. Or those with a daily allergy or vegetarian options. The majority of the time the food was cold and unpleasant. But that is something that can be fixed. Over all a good stay just a shame about the food.

Had a lovely relaxing break at this great little hotel, June 25, Just what we needed, quiet & quaint, we found respectful staff and guest, cleaners did an amazing job daily, providing towels bedding toiletries, thank you each one and all!
Arrival was met by the lovely Aimee, a lovely lady who provided assistance, laughter and translations when struggling to communicate with other guests, multitasking and multilingual, amazing lady! Each one on reception deserve a mention for their polite and assisting manner. Thank you!
The entertainment is always dependent on participating guests, even though it was never full around the pool area, we all, at some point, took part !! A little encouragement was needed which did the trick! Providing a great platform for the guest to have fun getting to know each other and generally have a good laugh and bonding.
Special thanks to Gary (and Christine, the book is said to be great) who shared his winning bottle with us losers, haha ! Also mention to the talented Taddy (unless it's darts haha) and his beautiful mother from Czech, wishing all the luck in the world to you both !! Thank you also to our lovely entertainer, we wish you a fun spent year bringing the joy and memories to people's days. Hope you get the lovely snow when you visit home!!
The hotel was catering for many nationals, so plenty of different foods to try out! Always lots of variety, whether breakfast, dinner or tea time. Snacks provided are also had a great selection. Catering staff had been very hard working, helpful polite and courteous. As we recall Barbara, Youseef? Martin, Roberto many many more to mention, bar staff and upfront of house staff, thank you for all your hard work and service! Keep up the amazing service you provide. Blessings to each and all!
Each family/couple we met had been, friendly and interactive, recalling some forever memories, Freda, health and happiness to this beautiful lady, will forever be in our cherished memories, how we sat for hours chatting, even though neither spoke the same language! Haha!!
The hotel is situated up from the beach and harbour around 10 minute stroll, convenient for access to transport, shopping Aldi 10 minute stroll away!

If people are looking at taps with limescale or the little rips in the curtains, it's a life you need not a holiday. Hahaha..! With the usage the hotel receives there are bound to be things showing signs of usage it's natural.! although a 3 star we would say 3.5 or 4 at least.
Would we go again? Absolutely, we didn't have anything to complain about, this was a great experience by far.

Not long back from yet another great holiday at the Illusion Markus and spa.
From arriving till leaving the staff couldn't have been more friendly and always willing to help with anything.
Rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable.
There was always plenty of food available no matter what serving you went to, so to be honest I don't know why people say there was no choice, as even for the fussiest of eaters you were guaranteed to find something to eat.
The entertainment that was on varied and the team tried to cater for everyone 👍.
We are already looking forward to coming back for another visit.

As you can see the socket is in the wrong place it’s behind where your head is meant to sleep on and also the bathroom door is stiff and the food is cold and not cooked properly and they weren’t all nice but the good part of it are the cleaners they clean the room good staff are nice but 1 staff member was mean to me I asked him to make me a cup of water with ice he didn’t put ice in the water so I said to him can you put ice in it please and he said 1 min so many times so I waited a couple mins and then he gave me another cup of water with ice and then I said can I have a cup of Pepsi with Amaretto and he just had a go at me
