Review for Aqua Mirage, Marrakech We’re a family of four from the UK with two children aged 9 and 12, and we came to Aqua Mirage for a much needed break. We honestly had a fantastic stay from start to finish. The whole place has such a friendly and professional feel, and every member of staff seemed to truly care about how they look after guests. A special shout-out to Abdul Rahman Al Thaqafi in the restaurant. He was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay and went out of his way to set up a lovely birthday table for my son. He is a genuinely kind and thoughtful person who made the whole experience feel even more special. The food was outstanding every day. The quality and variety were exceptional and genuinely what you would expect from a five star hotel. The pools and aqua park were a huge hit with the kids. The lifeguards were fantastic, always present, always attentive and clearly committed to keeping everyone safe. It made the whole experience feel even more relaxing for us as parents. The security staff were excellent too. They were always around, especially in the evenings when the kids were playing football, keeping an eye on things and making sure the whole resort felt properly secure. Overall, the resort feels incredibly well run and staffed by people who take real pride in what they do. We were very impressed and will definitely come again. We highly recommend Aqua Mirage to anyone planning a trip to Marrakech.

I came on this trip for 3 days with my family (wife and baby 8 months old) and ignored all reviews to make my own judgement. I have listed all the pros and cons of our stay! Positive - [ ] Lifeguards are really friendly and great with kids - [ ] Buffet selection and food quality great - [ ] Main pool is a nice size - [ ] Aqua park is great - [ ] Staff are great with kids and very polite cleaning staff - [ ] Rooms are spacious, clean and smell lovely. - [ ] The facilities are amazing, full football pitch, tennis, aqua park! Incredible! - [ ] Drinks are great and good quality Negative - [ ] Dessert at dinner isn’t self serve and they only give you one item at a time. - [ ] Kids pools, although under shade; not heated and very very small - [ ] Reception staff are quite arrogant - [ ] Check in is the weirdest system I’ve ever seen. Queue 20 mins - check in, then go to another counter to pay ya tax etc, then queue another 20 mins to get your room key? - [ ] Wasps at pool bar with sugary drinks everywhere. - [ ] Rooms are very loud, can hear everything next door - [ ] Bar staff at main pool, one person. Serves others before you even though you’ve been waiting first. They need more than 1 individual.

Honestly overall very disappointing in this resort. Most of the staff were so moody, has no enthusiasm. We booked this resort mainly for the aqua part as we have a 2 year old. The water in the kids area was freezing cold. My son fell ill. when we spoke to the receptionist they didn’t care at all. We paid extra just to be in this resort and we didn’t even use the aqua part once. They also have taxi stand outside the resort and no matter where you go they charge a flat rate. It’s disgusting. They taking advantage of tourists. Whether you go 5 minutes away or 20 minutes, it’s the same price. Can’t believe the resort is allowing taxis like that. And as a tourist you have no choice it to pay because the resort is far from city centre. As we didn’t use the aqua part we decided to explore Marrakesh , the ended up spending so much money on taxi because they charge so much. We went to other hotels and they did not have this taxi problems. It is only in this resort. Highly disappointed. Even more because we brought up these issues with the reception staff and instead of trying to help or do something they literally ignored us. When we asked about complaints team they said they don’t even have a complaints team. We really loved Marrakesh but because of the taxi charges and how cold the kids aqua park is we felt so disappointed, especially because we booked in only for the aqua park. We had no intention of going around as our toddler loves water. He cries every to swim but we couldn’t allow him because he was shivering after being in the water for 5 minutes.

When we first read the reviews for this hotel after booking, we were slightly skeptical how our holiday was going to be, but after spending 9 amazing days there all we can say is how amazing it was. The cleanliness, entertainment & entertainment team, the food, the lifeguards, the receptionists, everything was more than we could have asked for! From the moment we landed in Marrakech the holiday rep at the airport saw how tired we all were and got us a taxi, free of charge as we were still waiting for others for the official transfer. As soon as we arrived the receptionists were nothing but lovely, telling us things about the hotel, and took us and our luggage in buggy’s to our room even helping us bring them up. The hotel as a whole is constantly being cleaned and maintained, making it feel luxurious to stay in. A few of us from our family are fussy eaters but there was always, every meal, something for us all to eat, and for the ones who aren’t fussy there was so much variety and taste in everything. Although it was repetitive a lot of the meats did change every night as well as the pasta dishes. Even the staff in the restaurant were lovely, going out of their way to get things for us, carrying plates and as well as everything being clean and cleaned 24/7. The room every day was clean with fresh towels and beds made, with even pyjamas and blankets folded nicely every time. The entertainment shows were repeated weekly but every show was very good and fun to watch and the entertainment team, especially our bestie’s Yoyo, Speed, Walid, Aya and Maria, every single day and night were brilliant with us, making us feel very comfortable and overall just making our holiday even more enjoyable! There was two incidents by the pool where the lifeguards dealt with instantly with so much care as well, they were all brilliant with everyone there especially playing with kids near and in the pool and being overall pleasant people! We even made such good friends with other families on this holiday and even ones where we have said about coming back to this hotel next year all together! Yoyo, even came to the reception on the last day when our transfer to the airport was outside to say a last goodbye which was the sweetest thing ever. Although not every stay can be as brilliant as ours DO NOT let bad reviews put you off! We have created memories and friends for life and can’t be more grateful for everyone who had contributed into making our holiday the best ever! Next year we cannot wait to come back!

Really nice hotel location was less than 20min away from airport check in was easy and they bring a porter ready to drop us to our room which was great. Place was Spotless all over hotel and the food was amazing breakfast lunch and dinner and the snack bar. Although breakfast closes at 10am and snack bar opening at 12.30 if ur hungry in the meantime ur in trouble. Noting outside of hotel ur kind of in the middle of nowhere. Pools were lovely and waterpark lots of sports areas football pitch, basketball, tennis and beach volleyball. Entertainment team are really good. Some of the lads seem to pay too much attention to the young girls which is rong. Evening entertainment was really good. And loved the sports bar which shows English Premier league football which was a big thumbs up for me. Would I go again yes Will I no Would I recommend yes Thanks David
