We stayed at the hotel in November, when the mornings and nights were quite cold, but unfortunately there was no heating in the room. At the reception, we were told that the hotel “is not heating at the moment” and were advised to turn off all devices in the room so it would supposedly be warmer, which made the stay feel more like a winter trip than a vacation.
Smoking is almost impossible, as it’s not allowed on balconies or in any common areas. The only options are to stand outside at the hotel entrance or go all the way down to the beach bar, where smoking is permitted.
The elevators are very small and extremely slow — although they claim to fit four people, two barely fit inside, so taking the stairs often ends up being the faster choice. The food is repetitive and nearly the same every day. Breakfast includes juices and coffee, but during dinner all drinks must be paid for separately, which feels inappropriate for a hotel in this category.
There is an indoor pool, but it looks much worse in person than in the photos, so expectations should be kept low. There is also a rooftop pool, but using a sunbed costs an additional €35 per day, which seems quite excessive.
However, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained. Also, during our stay, my wife celebrated her birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find glasses, champagne, and a birthday card waiting at our door — a very thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated.

Spacious rooms with balconies right across the street from the beautiful beach, ultra clean and staff pleasant and accommodating. Whole area is immaculately clean as road sweeping is daily as are bin emptying at 7am every day. Well it promenade and flat walking surface all along the very long beachfront. Can hear planes overhead as it’s 8 minutes drive from the airport but you get used to it. Beds very firm which I strongly dislike but that’s me. Plenty of sunbeds, life guard most of the day. Lots of choice for breakfast and very fresh but could be hotter.

This is honestly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I don’t understand how it has four stars. The service is horrible, the reception is unhelpful to the point of being useless. There is no room service — fine — but you can’t even get a simple tea when you’re sick they ask you to go to the restaurant to get check if some. There’s no coffee or tea in the room, not even basic amenities like toothpaste When I asked for toothpaste, I was told they don’t have any
The balcony light couldn’t even be switched off, making it impossible to sleep properly. Nothing here feels comfortable. Everything about this hotel is terrible. If I could, I would give it zero stars.
The only good thing about it that it’s close to the airport.

The Hotel cannot be recommended. We originally booked HM Tropical and were rebooked to HM Gran Fiestas. The rooms have a bad smell, the sanitary facilities smell extremely bad, the food is very cheap tin food and the service poor. There are far better hotels for a better price value.

We had a very mixed experience at this hotel. In our first room, we found a roach and lots of ants everywhere. The AC wasn’t very strong, the blanket was thin and the entire place smelled heavily of pesticide, clearly showing they have an insect problem.
The staff did move us to a higher floor room, which was a little better, but the issues shouldn’t have been there in the first place. The buffet was good, but it comes at an additional charge of €24 per person. Considering the hotel isn’t cheap to begin with, the overall cleanliness and comfort were far below expectations.
Overall, disappointing stay, the value does not match the price.
