Booked this hotel for its location and cheap price and cannot fault it at all. By far the standout part of our trip was the incredible entertainment team: Tamy, Erwin and Jan. They offered us activities like volleyball and water polo during the day. In the evenings they hosted the entertainment (Kareoke, game shows, performers, live music), encouraged us to get involved and were always really good fun, often coming over to our table and having a laugh with us and joining in with our games. Massive shout out to Tamy and Erwin who even on the nights would recommend their favourite bars to us, join us for drinks and play games with us. They absolutely made this holiday memorable for us and we wouldn’t have had as much fun without them, they were amazing. The service in all other parts of the hotel was incredible too. The check-in process was easy and even though our transfer arrived at 1am, the receptionist was happy to open the restaurant to us for sandwiches and drinks. Cleaners came round every morning, and the restaurant and bar staff were quick and polite. 1 Euro deposit for a cup and you could get as many spirits, soft drinks and self-pour Cruzcampo as you like We can’t fault the rooms either, we were just wanting somewhere to sleep and shower and it did just that. Comfy beds with spare pillows and sheets, a balcony with chairs and a large shower. It also had a TV that we were able to watch the World Cup on. The location is incredible too, with beaches less than 5 minutes away. Shops, bars and restaurants everywhere you look, and the marina only a short walk away. Had an amazing week stay here with my group of 8, would absolutely come back again if we are in Cala Dor. Big thank you to all the staff and the amazing entertainment team

We stayed at this hotel in Cala d'Or for four nights in early July 2026 and had a fantastic experience. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful, the studio was spacious, and the location was excellent. We also enjoyed the food — the buffet offered a good variety, changed daily, was constantly replenished, and included freshly grilled meat and fish prepared to order. We honestly don't understand the negative comments about the meals. The hotel also has several swimming pools, including a large main pool, as well as entertainment throughout the day. The only improvements we would suggest are providing a few more basic kitchen items in the studio and vacuuming the room every couple of days. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would happily stay here again.

Lovely hotel overall. It’s a bit dated in places and the food was a bit hit and miss for me, but the rest of my group (there were five of us) all enjoyed it, so that’s probably just personal preference. For the location and price though, you can’t really go wrong. The staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for you — proper good service — even if the hotel itself feels like it’s doing the basics rather than going above and beyond. That said, I had a great stay and would come back.

We have just returned from our stay at the hotel, the staff and the team at the hotel are amazing, the rooms are clean but are dated, with several clear maintenance repairs in the walls. The room was scrubbed daily by the cleaning team to a high standard and overall the hotel was spotless. The quality of products available for consumption on the other hand was poor. The quality of the soft drinks was poor with the syrup to carbonation ratio being way off. The cocktails made in a machine tasted as though they contained no alcohol and the spirits available on the all inclusive package where poor quality causing stomach issues in myself and another guest. Food options are severely limited with supposedly hot food served cold and a lack of overall options. If you like having hot dogs and cold bacon for breakfast this is the perfect location. I raised an issue with a member of staff over the handling and cooking of raw chicken on the open grill counter in the dining hall with the chef using the same tongs for cooked chicken and the raw chicken. When raised I was led to believe action would be taken and believe this may be the case. Snack options are the same daily with poor quality burgers, cold nuggets, chips, salad and a pasta dish, this was said to be regularly refilled however this wasn't the case with staff saying it had finished. More information regarding the season should be shared with guests with my party arriving just before the season started meaning not much was open/ available, this isn't the fault of the hotel, but it could have been explained on check in. Overall, this hotel is clean and have some lovely and amazing staff, particularly on reception who did everything possible to help. The quality of food and drink available, for me let this review down.

Spent a week at the Gavimar Ariel Chico Club Resort in Cala d’Or, Mallorca. This was the first time we’d booked all-inclusive anywhere and the first time staying in this hotel. The food was surprisingly good for a 3* hotel and the staff were excellent, including the Animation and reception teams, as well as the restaurant team, who were extremely attentive. Notable members of the Animation team are José, Tamy and David. Exceptional members of staff and a credit to the hotel. Further, José demonstrated pure professionalism and calmness when dealing with a very unpleasant guest, which could have turned nasty. Location was exceptional, being next to the centre of town and an easy walk to Cala Grande, Cala Petita and the marina. All in all, for an affordable 3* hotel, I’d highly recommend this place, especially for families.
