Booked the Faros via Jet2 with a bunch of friends (It was a lads holiday) because overall, it was the better hotel in the area for the value near a beach. This was also my first time in Türkiye.
We were split into 3 different rooms across 6 of us and I can report the rooms were really very nice with balconies. Parts of the Faros definitely felt a bit dated, however, overall a very clean and nice hotel.
Food: as it was an all inclusive, I found the food to be pretty good. It was well presented but organisation seemed a bit confusing with most of the food not showing their tags so I had no idea what I was eating sometimes. Lots of choice and lots of variety. Drinks and alcohol being free definitely made it even better and the desert never ended.
Staff: Staff were generally brilliant, never had an issue with anyone! The reception were very helpful, Antonio was a very nice man and we ended up getting a massage so he is very good at his job! The cleaners were very accommodating and the bar staff were extra nice. No request too big! Ayesha and the hotel entertainment team were there every night to brighten our day and I loved how the hotel played into the Turkish culture rather than just catering to British culture which is what the majority of the clientele are.
Location: Location wise, it was a nice beach front and they did have a dedicated free beach to use for sunbeds which was great and there was always plenty left over even for 6 of us. Scenery was 10/10 and very beautiful surrounding area but I wouldn't say there is a whole lot to do in Icmeler other than drinking and eating and found most of the activities or places were in Marmaris. However, Icmeler is much nicer in my opinion to stay there.
Overall, I would stay there again if I was coming to the area, it was a great hotel, great beach, great value and great entertainment. It would be nice to see it refreshed to 2025 standards given it is rated as a 4* but can't complain on the whole. Great experience, would recommend!

Very very old hotel, rooms and bathrooms stinks, need massive refurbishment!
Idon't know how people give the 5star when actually this is 3star hotel.
I don't recommend it at all! On arrival they offered us room 512. You will not find a room like that in the pictures. The next day, after we have viewed other 4 rooms. we could decide to choose another one better than 512. Most of the rooms stinks, water on the bathroom floors.
I think that the most of the people who give fantastic reviews are those who are drinking alchool nearly non stop. Probably this means fantastic holiday for them. It was disgusting to see the cats in restaurant. There were few dogs on the beach. It is not a private beach, everyone has access, not only people from the hotel.
Save your money and find another one!

Absolutely loved our time here. Room comfortable and clean food plenty of choice. Location was great nice clean beach with plenty of water sports activities available just a little further up the beach. All staff and management could not do enough for you and all worked very hard to make our stay very pleasurable. Would definitely come back again. Beautiful hotel with everything you could possibly need in a 5 star hotel. private Beach is a few steps outside the hotel with plenty of loungers and space, as in the pool with plenty of loungers and private cubicles. Nina the manager is always polite and friendly every time she sees you as is all the staff at this beautiful hotel,. All the food and drinks are of the best standards

The wife and I have just returned from our holiday to Turkey and stayed in the Faros. Staff are attentive friendly and nothing is a problem. The chefs give you plenty of choice of good quality food. The entertainment is what you expect on the circuit but most enjoyable was the bingo caller
5 and 4 fivety to four….
The rooms are basic and could do with a spruce up during closed season but in general a good hotel
Drinks are by the eye measure so need to be careful if your not a big drinker views from the balcony were stunning. You do get hassled from the vendors but it’s all part of Turkey.
Would we go to the hotel again ???
Yes.
Not for everyone but it done what it needed to do for our holiday.
