The hotel area itself is beautiful, but that’s the only good thing about this place. The beach looks more like a lake, and the service is absolutely terrible. Meal times are way too early — perfect for kids maybe, but not for adults on vacation.
The à la carte restaurants are always fully booked, so there’s no chance to eat there at all. The animation team is extremely limited and there’s really nothing entertaining to do — definitely not what you expect from a 5-star resort.
Tables during meals are never set properly, staff are often unfriendly (with a few exceptions), and the tables are rarely cleared. It’s shocking how poor the service is.
The drinks are just as disappointing — whether it’s beer, wine, or cocktails, everything tastes low quality. The cocktails are especially bad, and most of the bars shown in the hotel description are actually closed.
Overall, I would rate this hotel 4 stars at best. Apart from the nice location, everything else is disappointing. Definitely not worth the money or a second visit.

Located in the Marmaris Icmeler district, Marmaris Labranda Mares Hotel is approximately 15 km from Marmaris city center. Those arriving by air can use Dalaman Airport. Transfers from the airport to the hotel can be made by private vehicle. The hotel has a covered parking garage with 12-15 vehicles. Those who cannot find a space can park their vehicles in the open parking lot.
A group of 130 people stayed here between September 30 and October 5, 2025, to celebrate our school's 42nd graduation anniversary and reminisce.
My wife and I stayed in room 1210. The room was spacious and comfortable. Access to the pool, sea, and other amenities is very easy. The sea was Blue Flag-winning. The pool was clean and refreshing. The restaurant was spacious, with delicious and varied food. It was possible to try local specialties like kebabs, soups, pide, and desserts. The entertainment and show team were excellent. I would choose them again.
I would also like to thank the Front Office Staff Ms. Emine Çetin Toka, who responded to my questions and emails before joining the hotel, and the Front Office Supervisor Mr. Volkan and Front Office Staff Ms. Zeynep, who displayed a professional approach during joining.

Avoid La Branda Marmaris at all costs!
This place was one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was a complete disappointment.
• The so-called “restaurants” were fully booked for the entire week the moment we checked in. Basically, forget about having dinner anywhere nice unless you book before you even arrive.
• The rooms? No shampoo. No body lotion. Not even the basics you would expect from a budget motel, let alone a resort.
• Customer service was a nightmare. The staff were not just unhelpful but outright rude and disrespectful. Any simple request was treated like a burden.
• Food and drinks? Absolutely terrible quality. Watery cocktails, cheap alcohol, and food that looked and tasted like it came from a school cafeteria.
The entire experience screamed cut corners, no care for guests, and zero respect for the money people pay. If you want to ruin your holiday, come here. If not, do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else in Marmaris

This hotel is dated and in need of a refurb, definitely not a 5* Hotel.
Food is so repetitive and not very nice.
Hotel is built on a hillside so pathways are steep, so isn't suitable for the less mobile.
Entertainment area is very small, not big enough to cope with all Hotel guests.
Sunbeds on beach are all gone by sunrise, pool beds gone by 9am.

The view is beautiful and the location is great. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. The lifeguards are attentive and ensure beach safety. Unfortunately, some people break the pool rules, but the lifeguards are vigilant. More thorough cleaning of the common areas would be helpful. The hotel needs renovations. However, the food selection is limited, as it's almost the same every day. Everything seems to have been reheated hundreds of times, so it's not very fresh. Overall, it's not the best value for money.
