We stayed over a long weekend, and even though we had torrential downpour one of the days we had a great stay. I wanted to thank the all the staff and entertainers again (including the acrobatic group from Kenya, they were amazing! We tried recreating some of the poses ourselves later on and ended up falling over laughing at ourselves. They deserved far more applause!). We saw numerous times the staff going out of their way to make sure everyone was happy and attended too, they really were wonderful. Despite not having beach access, the hotel has several well-maintained pools and a hamam/spa center, and even a couple slides to keep you entertained. We were able to visit the water park connected to hotel, within a five minute drive, and omg, so much fun. Any later in the season might be too cold for us, but everything about the park is so beautifully crafted, with all the different themes and we had a blast. Definitely the best water park in Turkiye that I've been to! I especially also wanted to thank again the entertainment team for taking the time to get everyone motivated to have a good time. I've never stayed at a hotel with so many activities, and they did well to keep things fun. I wish more guests would have participated. In a world where less and less human interaction seems to be the more, this was a welcome experience. Çok teşekkür ederiz!

I think the hotel needs to be renovated and reinforced. The rooms were unsafe. The food was average, and we didn't like the drinks. There were some issues with cleanliness. Services offered but actually not available (hair salon) the shop is ridiculously expensive charging 25 pound for sun cream.... We loved the entertainment team. We had a lot of fun with them. Considering we had stormy weather Thanks to them, our holiday was wonderful despite all the negativity. We thank Victoria very much for her great care.

I have just spent 5 days here at the hotel, I had a lovely stay positives beautiful location in the mountains and lovely views , big hotel great pool s and slides great for my daughter, very clean and lovely people at hotel. Negatives: the bathroom in our room had an awful smell ?? Think someone else said they he the same is it turkey pipes or something? Not nice! The food was repetitive and samey and not much different so for my picky daughter wasn’t great! We also saw flies land on the food ! Not hygienic! When we sat down we had to get our own drinks too ?? And find knife and forks ? When we asked for cutlery staff did get us it straight away but it was annoying we had to do this in a 5 * hotel! Also I was advised the pirate tour was really good and when we went on it we sat at shore with no information about what was going on from 10.15 until 12pm there clearly was a problem with the boat but no Turkish person on there told us what was going on, this was frustrating scared for my daughter and disappointing , we got off after 2 hrs because we didn’t feel safe to stay on it , I believe it did go in the end but I feel the tour would be rushed and not enough time to do all the 4 islands stop off !! We got off and we picked up by a guy who took us to the hotel and atalay refunded us the money we had paid , this took up all of our morning , this was precious time to us as we had unpredictable weather the first 2 days and it was lovely weather when we did the boat trip, I would of liked an apology from pirate baot tour staff and more communication on the tour so we could of stayed on the boat.
Reception staff Boran told us information on area and write down some places which was helpful however he said don’t go to the strip in Hisarano as there are scammers and it’s terrible place and he wouldn’t go there ! However we were told from other hotel guests it was fine there and great for shopping ! We went at 10pm at night to a hisarano strip and it was safe fun and we got lovely waffle and ice cream ! So I don’t know what Boran was on about , another staff member selling tours and trips said to us don’t go on the pirate ship tour it has 200 people on it and boozey and very loud , this wasn’t the info I wanted or needed when I was going on the trip the following day( when I spoke to atalay about this he advised he didn’t know him and he is competition to sell trips and not nice and that it will will 40/50 people on trip and it is great! Sadly we didn’t experience the trip as have mentioned and it was very disappointing!! All the other staff at reception were informative . The patisserie staff were very miserable every time me and daughter went in there the waffles on the side were cold and horrid an so were the crepe looking things tasted awful maybe they weren’t crepes ! You can’t walk anywhere from this hotel too, some guest said they did but I feel this would be very unsafe being up the top of hill mountain and being an hour with traffic on the Rosa’s not having a path being bad bumpy paths we didn’t try ! This is annoying as had to get taxis everywhere , taxis not too expensive 200/400 TL most places nearby. But you need cash for any taxi they don’t take debit credit card. Luckily they did take us to a cash machine on the journey to get cash for them.
Overall I gave the hotel 2/3 stars , this is not a 5 * hotel as sold to us with on the beach holiday travel company. More of 3 star , this is for the food and service, however I really enjoyed everything else about the hotel.
We won’t return to this hotel in the future unfortunately.

A Memorable Stay with Some Challenges – Orka Sunlife Hotel, Ölüdeniz
We recently spent 10 days at Orka Sunlife Hotel in Turkey with our baby and had a truly memorable holiday. The hotel is beautifully perched on the mountains of Ölüdeniz, offering stunning views — but this location does come with its challenges, especially for families with young children.
Despite being rated 5 stars, the hotel has a few flaws worth noting. The layout means many rooms are situated high up, and with only one main lift (which was often out of service), we frequently had to carry our baby and his pushchair up and down around 80 steps. This was far from ideal and made daily routines quite strenuous.
Our initial room was extremely small — barely enough space to move around — but thankfully, we were upgraded to a larger room which was lovely and much more comfortable for a family.
On the positive side, the food was tasty and varied enough, though it did become a bit repetitive over the course of our stay. The chefs were incredibly accommodating, freezing our ice packs each night so we could keep our baby’s milk cool during the day — a small gesture that made a big difference.
The entertainment team truly made our stay special. Mr Luxury, Irina, and Wacco were fantastic — they adored our baby and made a fuss of him every single day. The dancers were brilliant, and the whole team worked tirelessly to keep guests entertained. They deserve real recognition for their energy and dedication.
Overall, we loved our holiday and appreciated many aspects of the hotel, especially the warmth of the staff. However, due to the room situation and accessibility issues, we’d likely choose a different hotel next time — one better suited to families with small children.

A beautiful hotel on a mountainside, close to the city. You can get to the beach by free shuttle bus at scheduled times or by taxi for 5 euros.
The hotel staff is professional and very friendly. They maintain cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere.
The rooms are clean and have air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, and a safe box.
The buffet serves fresh and delicious food with a wide variety of options - love it.
The only issue was the occasionsl smell from pipes in the restroom.
