Staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge was truly an unforgettable experience for me. From the moment I arrived, I felt a very special atmosphere—peaceful, warm, and beautifully designed with authentic African details that made the hotel feel unique and alive.
One of the most amazing parts of my stay was being able to see animals like giraffes and zebras right from the hotel area. Watching them calmly walk around the savanna was something I never imagined experiencing at a hotel. It felt magical and made every morning and evening even more special.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was cozy, the space felt relaxing, and everything was thoughtfully prepared, making it the perfect place to rest after a long day. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the overall environment is calm, beautiful, and ideal for creating lasting memories.
What truly made my stay exceptional was the Disney staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their kindness and professionalism made me feel very welcomed and valued throughout my stay.
Overall, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is more than just a hotel—it’s a complete experience filled with unforgettable moments. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Orlando who wants something truly special and different. This stay left a lasting impression on me, and I would absolutely love to come back again♥️♥️

Resort experience like no other. Rooms are clean and decent size. The views of African animals on the savanna makes this an amazing experience if you are into animals. The architectural detail is gorgeous. I really think this is one of the prettiest Disney World resorts. It’s the furthest resort from Magic Kingdom but it’s truly a unique and relaxing experience. If you plan to go to parks from rope drop to close then maybe save your money and stay at a less expensive resort. If you want to relax at the resort and take in a “Safari like experience” then definitely give this resort a shot. If you can afford the upgrade, get the savanna view rooms. If resort view is more your budget then request a partial savanna view. We had the partial view and it hasn’t disappointed! The burger at Victoria Falls Lounge is truly unique and probably the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The goat cheese dip will make your day with the fresh baked bread. I love Animal Kingdom Lodge.

We had a suite that had a master bedroom, ensuite bath with a shower and sunken tub. A kitchenette with a breakfast bar, good size refrigerator, full size stove and oven, full size dishwasher, deep sink. Dishwasher detergent and soap for washing dishes at the sink was included. There were plates and coffee mugs, along with silverware and some cooking utensils and a handheld can opener. A Keurig coffee maker they can make a pot of coffee or use a single pod. All the coffee supplies were next to the Keurig and a tea pod or two if you wanted tea. Individual coffee creamers were also next to the Keurig coffee pot. Refrigerator is a very good size with a freezer. In the utility room there was a washer and dryer, the dryer was on top with the washer underneath, there was laundry detergent. Across from the utility closet with the washer and dryer was a hall bathroom complete with a bathtub, shower, toilet and sink. There was a very good size living room that had two pull down Murphy beds, one above the sofa, the other next to the eating table that had two or three chairs with a bench for seating. The master bedroom and the living room both had sliding doors to walk out onto the patio which was covered and where you could see the animals. Behind the living room wall was a whole nother section with a private bathroom that had a bathtub and shower a sink with a large vanity top, and a toilet in the toilet closet. There was a hallway in this section that had a closet outside of the bathroom. Facing the bathroom to the left was a large bedroom with two double beds, a small bench, and also a desk with a chair. There was also a sliding door in this room that led out to the same patio as the living room and the master bedroom. Both bedrooms have their own individual air conditioning/heating thermostats and also had ceiling fans and both bedrooms and living room. The suite was very far from the elevator so that was a little disappointing. However, the cleanliness and the beautiful rooms of this suite made up for the walk from the elevator for sure. It was done in the African boutique with beautiful hardwood used throughout the entire suite. This made an ideal setup for us as we were a mother father 3 year old and grandmother who had other family members and friends stop by to have lunch and dinner with us which we cooked right there in the suite. This suite allowed ample seating space for everyone to eat their meals and a total of three full baths for people to be able to use the toilets. I guess if all the Murphy beds and all the beds were used, probably a total of nine people could sleep in this suite. We saw zebras, giraffes, ostriches, and antelopes from our patio.

Truly a beautiful place. Seeing the animals was majestic and relaxing. The amount of details that are built in throughout the resort are incredible.
Bomas breakfast was fantastic, Rooms are spacious, Quick service food was really good.
Only thing would be wish we had more time to enjoy it all. We were there for Halloween and didn’t get a chance to use the pools.
If Staying here, for the price, you will want to make the most of your time there.

We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and the energy is unmatched if you want a resort that feels like a real escape. Walking in, you get a massive, open lobby that ironically feels warm and comfortable as well. Yes, you could actually see giraffes and zebras while drinking your morning coffee.
Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and the balcony is a bonus. The theming has dark wood, African art, and little Disney touches.
The pool is big, and not too crowded. I’m usually not a buffet type of person but Boma was consistently good and is one of my favorite restaurants on Disney property. Jiko was nice but there were a lot of children around for a signature restaurant.
The staff was consistently warm and helpful, which is the Disney standard, but you got the sense they liked working there more than the other resorts.
However, it’s not as close to the parks as the monorail resorts, and there is a bus system for everything. That’s the trade-off for seeing animals from your balcony instead of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. If you want non-stop park action, you may get a little restless, but if you want to actually relax and not feel like you’re in a theme park 24/7, this is the place.
This is a great location if you love animals, ambiance, and want to feel transported. I would absolutely book again for a resort stay.
