When I’d visited Disneyworld long long ago it seemed to me that the Boardwalk area was hopping and felt like a decently upscale adult option for a resort stay. However, at our recent stay the Boardwalk didn’t have that feeling, not much going on day or night and while the place was maintained well it felt a bit basic. We chose the resort for its proximity to particular parks and enjoyed the walkability to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and when we needed the bus to hit Magic Kingdom and Animal Park it wasn’t too packed and the trips were short and easy.
As for our room, clean, very basic, fairly small, with a decent sized balcony. The mattresses weren’t too bad at all, not overly firm. Appreciated that they provided thinner feather pillows too, not just thick stuffed foam. Easy check in/out. With the app you can go straight to your room and unlock your door…check out on the tv or app. I would’ve enjoyed more food options nearby, but we did eat -and order using the app- at the deli as well as the Italian restaurant on the Boardwalk and both were good.
Overall we had a good stay. I would try a different resort if I returned, but Boardwalk Inn served our needs for this visit quite well.

I stayed at Disney BoardWalk Inn from May 30 to June 6 at Club Level. I felt very welcome from the security to bell service as well as club level staffs. I got the upgraded from resort view club level to deluxe room club level with the boardwalk view. The beds were very comfortable and I slept very well. Disney Boardwalk Inn had the best cast members since they were very friendly and helpful. It was a joy to see how the cast members interacted with little kids. Disney Boardwalk Inn had the best location since it was only a 7 minutes walk to Epcot and a 12 minutes walk to Hollywood Studios. We enjoyed our stay very much that we will return to Disney BoardWalk Inn in the future.

First time at Boardwalk and it was a pleasure! Our room was great (bathroom needed some extra cleaning, but we let them know). Proximity to parks and other resort food was great. Service was 10/10, they went above and beyond to celebrate us on our 30th anniversary!
The main downside for me is the food situation. You must walk outside a ways to get to food (as opposed to other Disney resorts, which have their “food court” areas inside, just off the lobby generally). This was a pain when it was raining during our visit. Also the food nearby is mostly very expensive. Pool bar had sandwiches, but we were told there was no kitchen—they were made off-site and brought in, so weren’t fresh and were soggy. Just not enough reasonable choices. A little disappointing for a “Deluxe” property with a high price tag.

This was not our first visit to the Boardwalk hotel. It is one of our favorites. This visit was an exceptional visit. Our room was just above Joe's stand. The view was exceptional - virtually the entire boardwalk. And, the room was quite a bit larger than any we've had previously. We loved it. I had recently badly injured my leg. My son rented a scooter for me. Every castmember from the parking/check in area to bell services and check-in agent was very helpful and professional. I have not one negative comment. An exceptional Magical 3 days. Thank you. (We are APs)

This was a trip for just myself and my husband. I requested a room near an elavator and a king bed. We got neither. We actually got room 3202 the furthest room down a very long hallway the last room past 86 other rooms. Our view of the courtyard was nice unless you looked to the left which was a concrete wall with the dumpsters, employee trucks, golf carts and loud banging at 6am and 8am. Our trip was to get away from it all and relax and sleep in which wasn’t possible. I asked to have the room changed and was told there were no more king beds and there were rooms closer to the elevator but they weren’t clean so we’d have to go back get out things and bring them to storage until they told us the new room was ready so we’d just stayed. Our meals at both sit down restaurants were amazing, we enjoyed the pool and the pool bar, the boat to Epcot was great and the bus to MK was quick. Not getting either request and putting us in the last room so far away with loud banging early mornings was not great. That hallway also need painting and some refurbishment as well as the bathroom door in that room has to be slammed in order to close. In a deluxe Disney should do better. Stayed at Boardwalk once before and loved it, we also loved AKL and GF. Probably last stay at Boardwalk.
