We just stayed for 6 nights at the Hotel. It is a beautiful, modern Hotel, with a really positive friendly attitude towards guests. The outstanding feature has to be the incredible breakfast selection and dining area - truly exceptional in our experience, and, when the Restaurant opens later in the morning, very good quality selection of food with an interesting pager system when food is ready. Pool set up outside is excellent. Even though the Hotel was obviously busy we often had the Infinity pool to ourselves, and great to be able to access drinks, coffees and Frappes at the Poolside Bar. At this point we want to give a special shout out to Murin(?) who seemed to be everywhere during our stay be it on breakfast duty or serving us at the Poolside Bar. A great example of how Hotel staff ought to be - always a Hola!, a smile, and great at his jobs. The only negatives (and these are minor) - the shower leaked onto the floor tiles beside the WC, and that final hill is tough for a man of my age, especially in the heat of our first few days 😊 Lastly, unsure the constant House/Dance choons reverberating from the outside speakers are entirely necessary - a few hours quiet time each day I would suggest might be an improvement - and I repeat these are minor quibbles and do not detract from the overall positive experience we had.
Given the reputation that the Magaluf area has , we found the Hotel and surrounding area to be very quiet, mostly and I commend the Management and staff for creating a truly wonderful Holiday destination and base.

Honestly, an amazing stay from the start. Friendly staff, great facilities and a beautiful view from our room. The included buffet style breakfast has so much variety, including made to order eggs and smoothies. The à la carte menu was brilliant and reasonable priced. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and very sophisticated, perfect for friends or couples to relax and recharge. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating and they went out of their way to make our anniversary a special one.
The sea view is stunning and the pool is a great size with very comfortable loungers along with a big beach bar serving delicious cocktails.
The buffet has an amazing selection of foods varying from cereals, nuts and fruit, yogurts, pastries and fried food. There was lots of choice and the evening food was beautiful. Again boasting a varied menu of food from all different cuisines.
The vibe is very chilled at the hotel and out on the strips with lovely bars close by and two beaches to chose from.
I would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing get away.

We stayed at Cook’s Club for 4 nights in Oct 25,
This place served us for everything we needed and I think the only slight let down was the location, it was easy to access everything however the let down was the noise, this hotel is fairly close to the main strip and music can be heard till late night, it wasn’t the loudest in our room but still noticeable.
It wasn’t much of an issue until our last night (a Friday) I think the bars may have been open till later?
Also had some loud people in the room next to us, again only on the Friday but it’s expected from where the hotel is.
Other than this all good, breakfast buffet had loads of choices of foods and drinks giving us a nice start to each day, also the dinner menu is quite big and has a range of different foods to choose from, and not too expensive.
Rooms were clean and I think the place had recently been refurbished, you don’t get any of the dodgy showers, cracked tiles etc.
Accessibility to places was easy from the hotel and had a bus stop about 2 mins away, however when we hired our car they do ask for €15 overnight car parking ( free parking around the hotel if needed)
Motorbike parking is free.
Overall, you get what you pay for and a little bit more, after seeing some other 4 ⭐️ hotels in the area, I would 100% be choosing this first!

I stayed at Cook’s Club Calviá Beach from Friday until Monday, and this was hands-down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in years.
The photos on Booking.com and Google are completely misleading — everything looks stylish and fresh online, but in reality, it’s all surface-level renovation. The only thing that matches the pictures is the view from the higher floors, which truly is nice. Everything else feels neglected.
1. Rooms and Facilities
During two rainy days, water literally poured through the window frames, flooding the floor. So much for “modern design” — the place clearly has structural issues. The maintenance team didn’t seem to care.
2. Check-in Disaster
When we arrived, we found out that one of our rooms had been “cancelled” last minute due to a supposed Booking.com issue. The receptionist just kept repeating that he couldn’t find the reservation and didn’t even try to help us.
We asked him to simply give us a room and charge us directly — but he refused and told us to wait until midnight for another guest’s check-in to “see what happens.” Completely unprofessional.
In the end, we had to rebook the exact same room through Booking.com for €50 more, which the hotel refused to honor or adjust, even though they knew the situation wasn’t our fault.
3. Staff and Service
The staff are unfriendly, unhelpful, and in some cases downright rude.
On Sunday night, we rang the bell to enter the parking area — nobody opened. When someone finally came, they told us we needed to pay a deposit first, even though we were already checked in.
My friend went inside to sort it out, and when I followed 10 minutes later, I found him arguing with the receptionist and a so-called “security guy” who again “couldn’t find our reservation.” They didn’t even bother checking our wristbands, which were clearly linked to our room.
Things escalated — not because of us, but because the receptionist started raising his voice and acting aggressive. When I said to my friend “let’s just pay and go,” they somehow took that as an insult and threatened to call the police. Absolutely ridiculous.
When I asked for the receptionist’s name, he refused to give it. The next morning, he even filed a false report, claiming we were rude and honked outside — something that never happened. There’s CCTV footage that proves otherwise, but of course, they didn’t care.
4. Food Quality
We had lunch twice at the hotel restaurant. The entrecôte was overcooked, low quality, and borderline spoiled — a complete waste of money. Definitely not what you expect from a place that markets itself as “premium.”
Overall Impression
Cook’s Club Calviá Beach looks trendy online, but it’s a chaotic, poorly managed, and dishonest operation. Between leaking rooms, fake photos, untrained staff, and fabricated incident reports, this hotel is a masterclass in how not to run hospitality.
There are plenty of better options in the area — avoid this one at all costs.
