Excellent apartment rooms, excellent location close to the cliffs and the beautiful walking areas. Didn't use the spa services or the restaurants, so cant comment on those. Quiet in the off season. Sandy bottom pool area was beautiful and nice to lay by. We had rented a car, so proximity to restaurants and old town were not an concern for us, but I had noted food delivery services meeting people outside their apartments on site.
The only things that would solidify the apartment rooms as perfect would be the additional of: a full length mirror somewhere in the room and a smart tv where you could sign into your own subscription tv services. Otherwise, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended. Suite rooms are worth it for the extra space. Food excellent in Gastropub and Mundo restaurants. All the staff are pleasant and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to come again. We had a hire car to get around the area and the hotel is well placed for touring the Algarve.

We stayed at the hotel as a couple in mid-January 2026. The location is spectacular, perched on a cliff right by Ponta da Piedade, with direct access from the hotel to the scenic coastal path leading toward the lighthouse.
Our room was exceptional — very spacious, beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable, and with a stunning sea view.
The service was excellent and friendly throughout our stay, including valet parking. Special thanks to Michael at reception for being kind, efficient, and incredibly helpful.
Access to Lagos is very quick and easy, making this location both peaceful and convenient.
Highly recommended!

The staff at the hotel are wonderful. From checking in, valet, restaurant staff to checking out the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and nicely appointed. The breakfast is amazing and having dinner at the hotel one night id say one of the best steaks ever! We had an incident one of the 4 nights with a critter and the terrace. The hotel took care of the issue quickly and made it all better. Would we stay again. Absolutely!

I had a fabulous aromatherapy relaxation massage in a gorgeous setting, followed by a spectacular lunch at the adjacent gastropub: the Lighthouse bar. Unfortunately, the spa facilities were less than expected. The large saltwater pool was tepid (too cold for me on a cloudy day in Feb.), the large Jacuzzi was out of service so there was only a small, 2 person Jacuzzi I had to wait some time to use, so I went for a sauna, which was petite, and I had to sit up when one other person joined me. The steam room was also out of service, and the ice plunge was literally a pile of ice in a raised container in the center of the floor. At least I didn't have to pay extra to use the spa after my massage. I would still totally return for the massage and lunch though!
