My stay at Cascade Wellness Resort was exceptional from start to finish. The resort's cliffside location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is simply breathtaking, with spectacular views around every corner. Whether enjoying a morning coffee, taking a walk along the nearby coastal trails, or relaxing by the pool, the scenery never gets old.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The selection was extensive and high quality, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio each morning watching the birds while taking in the peaceful atmosphere.
The main pool is spacious, relaxing, and never felt overcrowded. The Lighthouse Bar provided a great option for drinks and light bites with beautiful views, and I appreciated having excellent espresso available both in the room and throughout the resort.
The reception staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful with recommendations and transportation assistance. The location strikes a wonderful balance between tranquility and accessibility. It's about a 30-minute walk to Old Town Lagos and roughly 15 minutes on foot to Antonio's seaside restaurant, with countless opportunities for scenic morning walks along the cliffs and coastline.
For wellness-focused travelers, the outdoor yoga hut, on-site spa, fitness facilities, and wellness amenities make it easy to unwind and recharge.
If you're looking for a peaceful Algarve retreat with incredible ocean views, wellness amenities, excellent service, and easy access to Lagos, Cascade Wellness Resort is a fantastic choice. I would happily stay here again.

Our room was specious and comfortable, the atmosphere was incredible, the staff were super nice.
Location is great - amazing view of the beach from the cliff and amazing sunset.
Food wise - breakfast was delicious with sooooooo many options! and also the food at the restaurants was very good (but also very expensive).
We had two situations where we had to ask the same request from room service / reception multiple times until they took care of that. So i hope they will improve on that matter (they did send us sweets and wine as compensation for the inconvenience which was nice).
But anyway - our stay here was great!

We had the best time and a very positive experience. Such a great location. You are less than 5min drive from the restaurants area. 5min away from nice beach areas.
The hotel is just by the Ponta da Piedade wooden paths, you can walk around a lot nearby the hotel.
Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The view and direct access to the pool was great. The spa heater pool and jacuzzi were a good treat as well.
Breakfast was amazing, lots of good stuff, the omelette made on the fly was really good. Would come back for sure.
Gym was great too, very well equipped.

We recently spent 3 nights at Cascade Wellness Resort (6/14 - 6/17). The resort's location is absolutely spectacular, and the grounds are stunning. The dramatic cliffs, beautiful ocean views, and scenic boardwalk create an unforgettable setting. The surrounding Algarve region is breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area through hiking and biking.
Unfortunately, while the property itself is situated in an incredible location, the buildings are in need of significant maintenance and updating. There was noticeable water damage throughout the main building as well as in the apartment we stayed in (Unit 914).
We were also disappointed to discover that several spa amenities were not operational during our stay, including the hot tub and steam room. These were features we had specifically looked forward to enjoying after long days spent hiking and biking around the Algarve.
Overall, the resort benefits tremendously from its amazing natural surroundings and beautiful grounds, but the accommodations and facilities would greatly benefit from some much-needed attention and investment.

Rooms were missing attention to detail, soap was not refilled, faucet was broken in shower and it took hours to get someone to come take a look. It stayed half functional the whole stay.
Location of property is good, but quite far from beach access and not walkable to the city center.
Spa was decent, we didn't book in advance and missed out on using services, hot tub and steam showers were out of service and heated pool was like warm on a cool day. Sauna was great and made up for the small replacement Jacuzzi.
Gym was adequate but group fitness space was rundown and could use improvements.
For the room prices I expected more from this hotel.
