Stayed here for a week with a 4 month and a 4 year old. The splash park was great for the kids and good access however all pools need to be cleaned as I feel like hygiene was really bad . There were plenty of free space with the sunbeds throughout the day which was good.
The only good part of this hotel was the food! It was amazing always of variety. The pancakes, churros and all deserts were 10/10.
Rooms definitely need to be renovated. Feels like everywhere was old and filfy! We had two scenarios of our room being skipped and not being cleaned so we moaned at the desk. I definitely feel like the hygiene and cleanness in the hotel is not taken into account as much. Especially the rooms: the floor was never clean nor the balcony. The towels left at the rooms always had stains and dirt! No ashtrays ın the balcanys and never had water bottles or anythıng left ın our room. The safe box wasnt working. The hoes that’s out of the room was very uncomfortable. There was a massive gap between the floor and the entrance door where insects could easily come in. The tap water was salty! It was a bazzar to be able to wash your tooth and have a shower!
Other than on the good side; lots of things for kids to do throughout the hotel and entertainment was okay but could be better. Kids club was so tiny across the road didn’t meet my expectations. I definitely say this hotel is a 3 star. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away and easy access with a buggy and there is shade which was nice. Also lots of shops around the hotel located in a busy area. In general the service in the hotel is okay but could need improvement most staff didn’t know English. We also asked if we could stay on the ground floor but was placed on the first floor and it was a struggle going up and down with two buggies every day as there is no lift.
Id say if your expectations is not too high its a good hotel just to spend a couple days in.

Very friendly, clean hotel with a great atmosphere throughout. The evening entertainment was excellent, and the layout of the hotel and pool areas is clearly well thought out.
The children’s pool area, with slides and fountains located behind the hotel, was ideal for our younger kids. It felt very safe and secure, with gated access so they could explore freely while still being easily visible at all times.
The food was what you would expect from a 4-star Spanish hotel – good overall with plenty of choice. The fresh omelette and pancake station at breakfast could benefit from some improvement, as queues can build up significantly at peak times. An extra member of staff would likely resolve this.
Overall, we would definitely book again. A special thank you to the entertainment team, especially the girls, who were brilliant with the children and put so much effort into making the activities fun and engaging.

Great service, clean and spacious rooms. The beds are very comfortable, and you can always get a good night’s sleep. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The activities vary each day, and the entertainment team is top-notch. Every day, there is a wide variety of different foods to choose from. The beach is only a couple of minutes’ walk away and is clearly marked.
The pools are nice, and the ping pong table, beach volleyball, soccer, tennis, and padel courts are an added bonus. The racquets, paddles, and balls are available at the front desk, and you can ask for them anytime from morning until night.
I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers, couples, as well as families. There are always things to see and do, and kids will never get bored.

Everything was perfect! The breakfast was delicious, a huge variety of food! The staff was really friendly and helpful, they even let us leave our baggage the last day after checking out in a closed room and offered to take a shower if we wanted to swim last day too!
The beach was a 5-8 minutes walking distance from the hotel, which was totally okay.
I honestly can't say anything bad about them! Thank you! 🩷

We had a great stay at Calimera Fido Gardens. As a family with 2 kids, we had to rooms with a connecting door which was very nice. Pool and layout of the hotel was really great. The water was a little cold in October, but the kids din't mind. The food at the buffet was good, but could offer more options and better labeling for vegetarians and other restrictions. Staff was very friendly and especially the entertainment (we only participated around dinner time) was awesome.
