Cheap holiday hotel. Very loud in the evenings. Drain in the bathroom smelt terrible. Slept okay considering entertainment noise levels. Trying to sleep against karaoke was interesting - some people are supposed to sing and some people are not. Then it was bingo, NEXT NUMBERRRRRR!!!! 😴 good holiday, not a bad hotel, think we'll try somewhere different next time.

We had a great holiday in Cala D'or hotel. It's a perfect spot for someone who's looking for entertainment and party's every evening. If you are looking for more quiet spot, I would recommend to choose Altair hotel. It's the same chain, both hotels are joined and you can use amenities of both hotels. The difference is, Altair is quiet and no entertainments throughout the day and party's at the evenings. All staff at the bars, swimming pools, reception desk and house keeping service, are friendly and very helpful people. The only disadvantage might be the lack of air-condition in the rooms, but as we stayed there in February, we didn't need it at all. Nights were cool enough, to have a proper sleep, but in a summer time it might be a hassle.

We only stayed as was a family's birthday definitely not were I would normally stay
Rooms were ok and clean infact all the hotel was very clean but firs room we were given smelt bad of smoke but was moved to another room with a better view staff are friendly and helpful there's a small supermarket near by that's cheaper than the bigger ones only problem it's up an hill and 206 steps to bottom but lots of taxis, lots of good restaurants and bars but the hotel has a bar and service food
It gets the sun around 11.00 around the poo, l the entertainment man is very good with lots of activities and free drinks

Apartments are good size with fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom a bit small but with a dressing table which is a plus. Balcony overlooking the sea and all the hotels on the other side (very nice). However there are some downsides - first of all as many people mentioned already, it's very loud at night till 4 o clock every day (due to bars and pubs downstairs) There's no aircon so you either have this noise or you're roasting hot with closed windows. Cleaning service is not every day, so keep this in mind when you use your towels. There's an entertainment every evening so if it's not your cup of tea I would consider booking with other hotel. Very good point is that there are 2in1 hotels - Altair and Cala Dor so you can use facilities like bar and pool area alternately (we preferred pool area at Altair as it's quieter. Overall good value for money.

We stay here a lot, never have a problem. However this time we have a 6 month old baby, and as there’s no aircon I asked to rent a fan and they told me no, come back in the morning. Not a care in the world or any concern that a young baby might be overheating. They said they don’t have any, however I could see 4 fans sitting through the glass. When I pointed this out they just stuttered. Seriously contemplating ever coming back to Cala D’or for the lack of empathy shown for my young child.
