The resort layout feels quite spread out, which can make some walking routes a bit inconvenient. For example, on the way out of the resort or to the evening restaurant, you may need to pass through warm, non-air-conditioned conference rooms or take longer routes than expected. Several staircases from the ground floor to the restaurant were randomly closed during our stay, which added to the detours.
We noticed that some of the dishes in the restaurant were not as clean as we would have liked. The food selection was reasonable and in line with the price range.
The pool area was nice and my children liked it a lot.
The animation team worked hard to entertain guests. One team member in particular stood out with exceptional energy and engagement, as did another friendly and talented male entertainer.
Communication was occasionally a challenge. I usually started conversations in English, but sometimes received replies in Spanish. While it’s understandable given the location, I had expected more consistent English communication with service staff.
The beds and pillows were not to our personal comfort preference. On the positive side, the pool bar served tasty food and the staff there were friendly and welcoming.
As for the location (the city itself), it may not suit everyone’s expectations, so it’s worth researching in advance to see if it matches what you’re looking for.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic hotel – beautiful, clean, and welcoming!
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Blau Colònia Sant Jordi. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, with lovely surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. The buffet was great – lots of variety, fresh food, and options for every taste.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful, which made us feel really welcome throughout our stay. Everything was well organized and very comfortable.
Just a small tip for future guests: across from the hotel there are beautiful salt flats (salines), but one of them can be a bit swampy and tends to attract quite a few mosquitoes. We recommend bringing mosquito repellent just in case – it made a big difference for us.
All in all, we had a fantastic experience and are already planning to come back. Thank you to the whole team for such a lovely holiday!

This is our third year at the Blau Hotel in St. Jordi, and we absolutely love it.
The highlight for our two kids (7 and 10 years old) was definitely the chocolate fountain and the foam party!
A big heartfelt thank you especially to the entertainment team for all the fun!
Also many thanks to the entire team at the hotel for making our stay so wonderful once again. We can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic family holiday at Blau Colonia Sant Jordi in April. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The highlights for me were:
1. The friendly staff. Everyone we came across was kind and helpful. The animation team did a great job of keeping our kids entertained especially in the evening discos.
2. The amazing food. I had read a number of online reviews before staying at the hotel that praised the food. It really was excellent both in terms of variety and quality. The churros and waffles at breakfast were a particular highlight with the kids though there were plenty of healthy options too.
3. The evening entertainment. There was a show every evening and again, the quality was excellent. We especially enjoyed the eclipse magic show and the dynamic explosion circus show.

We really enjoyed our last minute stay here.
The grounds were lovely and really well kept. Weather meant we didn’t spend a lot of time by the pool, but the pools are spacious and the heated pool was great for this time of year.
The room is modern and spacious and was very clean. There was a mini fridge and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was lovely however the design of the shower with no screen on one side meant that even though the shower was large it still splashed over and caused the bathroom floor to become very wet.
The staff were really friendly, being half board we interacted most with the kitchen/wait staff who clearly work very hard and long shifts but were still always really friendly and helpful.
The food was really good. Plenty of choice, and always fresh and well stocked. The circular design of the food service area did seem to cause queues in certain areas.
The main clientele of the hotel is German, which is no problem, but it does mean the hotel has a different cultural vibe than hotels with a more mixed array of guests, particularly at meal times.
Also worth noting that the water dispenser is only free during breakfast.
