BenalBeach Apartments
The complex is big, safe, and in a good location, but the apartment was quite rundown. Half the light bulbs didn’t work and the air conditioning wasn’t cold. After two days of rain, we finally got to use the pool — only the big one was open so no slides, and after a few minutes on the sunbeds we were told (quite abruptly) to move to the grass. The pool itself is lovely, and there’s a handy little supermarket on-site, but overall the place feels tired and not well managed. The pool with slides was closed and the other pool being cleaned. Fair enough it is the end of season and they were cleaning the sunbeds but my brother in law stayed in Puerto Marina for a bit more money and the standards were miles better with a pool on the rooftop and beds everywhere. Wouldn’t choose BenalBeach again for self-catering. Maybe it's good for an all-inclusive deal in the summer.

Just returned from a wonderful week here in Apartment 4506, which has fantastic sea views. The apartment had everything you could possibly need, and it was spotless. The pool areas are gorgeous, very clean, and totally secure. Sunbeds with a big fat mattress 5€ a day, a bargain. We will return. Thank you.

We stop here every year when we come to benalmádena. The shop in the hotel is really handy excellent prices as well same as major supermarkets some things like bread & milk etc. Really friendly staff in the shop. The swimming pools are really good, good atmosphere all the time. Only thing is with this hotel it doesn't have family entertainment, no music etc which is a let down if you are bringing kids. Does have arcade last time I took my niece some things in the arcade weren't working which can't be helped. But definitely could do with a upgrade or better maintenance in the arace like the basketball game balls were flat. No machine to get change at to go on games so had to change my money at the bar which is no problem but would be handy for a change machine. Overall a good hotel complex we book with a private agency each time we stop. Some really nice apartments stopped in benal beach over 15+ times now. It's in a good central area, paloma park is 1min walk away that has a huge play area for kids. Big supermarket just up from the park too, restaurants & cafes just 2min walk away from benal beach.

Well what can I say?
If you want a relaxing holiday don’t go here.
Good Points
- Location is quite good near to sea front and about 1.5km to the Marina.
- Plenty of parking either on site or on the road behind.
- The building is clean and well run
Bad Points
- The wall and floors paper thin. If adjacent apartments have the TV on or talk loudly you will hear it. If the people in the apartment above you scrape chairs around or walk in healed shoes you will hear it.
- The building itself is getting quite dilapidated with some of the external rendering having fallen off. The water feature at the front of the building also is switched off and the ponds drained.
- There is no privacy on the balconies so you will be overlooked by your neighbours.
- A lot of the apartments see very little sun so if you go pick on with great care.
My advise is to look for somewhere smaller so you are less likely to encounter inconsiderate people.

Watch out there are thieves in the this Hotel, our suitcase got stolen with medication and allergic milk for our 5 months old baby, nobody to help, no cameras. Its a danger to sleep here, the elivator got stuck on floor three with a woman, nobody cared! Me and one other guy opened the door for oxygen, after 40 minutes still no help, its like a place for animals. As i dont wish animals to live like this. We had to fly back the same day it happened and we had just checked in and arrived to Spain so after a half day in Spain we had to leave, cause even the pharmacy only speak english when they want. So sad that they dont even return our money or helped us! Very very bad!!!
