The hotel is decent enough but the rooms show signs of obvious wear and tear. Cleanliness is good but we had to specifically ask in reception for them to vaccum the floor which is a little silly since it is a hotel situated almost on the beach. By day four, the floor was quite sandy.
Fridge and AC in the room are a big plus.
We were upgraded to a seaside room with a small balcony for 30 euros for the duration of our stay as we arrived just outside of the main season. It has a decent view of the beach and the sea.
Staff are nice and friendly. They have beach towels free of charge in reception.
The biggest drawback of this hotel are the clientele. They are mostly British people aged 18-25 who are very loud. Combine this with the thin walls and doors of the hotel and you can hear everything from their obnoxious drunken screaming to their slamming of doors and running down the hallway. Earplugs are a must if you're a light sleeper. They're really only active between 1600-0400, lounging by the pool during the daylight hours. You'll see some of them at breakfast but the hotel is mostly quiet between 0800-1500.

Room/facilities are fine, location great, however there is a serious lack of hotel security, every morning from 3am - 7.30am the hotel is like a zoo, filled with barbaric animals who have been brought up with 0 respect or consideration for other people. There is a severe lack of willingness from staff to deal with this issue, people who are not guests lingering in corridors having parties and using megaphones. Reception tell you to phone down if you have any issues, only for them to not answer your call or put you straight on hold if and when they do answer, essentially ignoring you until you have to physically go down and see them and even at that point the matter doesn’t get resolved. Had to deal with these children ourselves on multiple occasions. You can barely call this a hotel, you may as well put a mattress on the strip and stay there for a week. Will never be staying here again as this was such a terrible experience. If you want to get 2 hours sleep a night at best then this is the hotel for you, otherwise I would seriously consider your options. As for what you can do to improve this situation it’s quite simple, go and warn this minority that if it continues the will be evicted from the hotel, at the very least you can make sure that it is only the guests that are in the hotel not random people who only want to disturb your paying guests. Very very poor.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, booked through On The Beach. This trip was special for us – it was my husband’s birthday and also our first holiday together after getting married a few months ago.
A heads-up: if you book this hotel as part of a package, you can’t add special requests online. You have to either call them (which was an international call for us) or email them directly. I emailed asking about birthday packages and a nicer room. The guest experience manager, Anthonius, replied saying they only take cash for these requests. He charged €50 for Prosecco, a few balloons in the colour I chose, and a cake. Because I’d already arranged another cake, he offered a choice between a fruit platter or strawberries with a chocolate shell.
When we arrived late due to flight delays, we were checked in by Maikel and another receptionist whose name began with X. I had hoped my request for a nicer room had been passed on, but it clearly hadn’t. When we asked about it, the two receptionists spoke to each other in Spanish. I understood the other person saying something like “ask them to pay for an upgrade or just leave it as it is.” Moments later, Maikel told us the hotel was fully booked and there were no double beds available. He didn’t even offer us the option to pay for an upgrade.
I know room allocation depends on availability, but speaking about guests like that in front of them felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. I mentioned this to Anthonius the next day, but all he said was “sorry” and explained again that the hotel was full. This was strange considering what I had overheard the night before. I didn’t want to push it further, so I left it.
The birthday request for 7th August was done as arranged – it was okay. The food less than average and repetitive; we had breakfast and dinner included. They charged €3 for a 500ml bottle of water at mealtimes, so we started bringing our own. For three nights nobody said anything, but on the last night a lady at the restaurant entrance stopped us quite rudely and pointed out a tiny, barely visible sign saying “no outside drinks allowed.”
The rooms were disappointing – damaged and dated – and we had two single beds. On our first holiday after marriage, we ended up sleeping separately.
On our last morning we had an early flight. We asked reception about an airport transfer, and they said it would be €59 cash only, which was too expensive. We later found a local taxi (Calvia Taxi) for €40. This made us suspect that the cash-only option was overpriced so they could pocket the difference. It felt like the hotel was trying to squeeze money out of guests at every opportunity.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for any special occasion stay. The pictures online are misleading – they show a new building, but our room was far from that.

This is one of the worst hotels iv ever stayed at. I understand people want to go out and have a good time like ourselves but it’s full of 18 year olds screaming all night of the hours! Banging on the doors making so much noise. It got that bad two women came out going mad as the security guard didn’t even speak English and was shouting at her pushing her back into her room not to mention it’s her birthday. Woman mopping with no wet signs up what caused my friend to slip and really hurt herself. Been taking food from breakfast up to our rooms with no problem and the last day he stops us and says no food allowed in the rooms. He was quite rude about it too. Magaluf itself is just a money making rubbish place. €18 for a salad! I wouldn’t book this hotel because you will be disappointed. I feel like I need another holiday after experiencing this one. Paid a lot of money to be leaving so unhappy. If I could give it zero stars I would. Even the Dj was crap it’s not a 4 star anyway! Its put me off ever coming back to magaluf.
