We are currently half way into a 10 night stay here at the Mamlouk Palace. It’s our first time to Egypt, we were a little apprehensive due to some stories we had heard from other travellers.
Everyone at this hotel has been very welcoming and attentive. All staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you, to make your stay enjoyable.
The food is very good, there is a wide variety to choose from.
The à la carte restaurants are very good and well worth the visit. The food in all the restaurants we visited was excellent. Negative points, they need air conditioning in there as they are very hot. The beer is served in cans here and not particularly cold.
All the staff here work extremely hard and never seem to stop.
A special mention entertainment team at the hotel.
These guys and girls really make the holiday enjoyable.

Very Disappointing Experience – Not What I Expected from SUNRISE Mamlouk Palace
Unfortunately, my recent stay at SUNRISE Mamlouk Palace was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the reputation and standards I expected from the resort.
One of my main concerns was the inconsistency in the level of service and attention given to guests. I personally felt that there was a noticeable difference in the way Egyptian guests and foreign guests were treated, particularly with some members of the Front Office team and the staff at the main bar. This made me feel uncomfortable and genuinely disappointed during my stay.
Another particularly frustrating situation occurred when I asked the Front Office to extend my stay. I was told that there was no availability and that extending the reservation was not possible. However, shortly afterwards, I found rooms available for booking through both Booking.com and the hotel’s own website.
This was extremely confusing and left me questioning the transparency of the information provided by the Front Office. Even if there was a legitimate reason for the discrepancy, the situation should have been explained clearly to the guest.
I believe that every guest, regardless of nationality, should receive the same level of professionalism, respect, attention, and hospitality.
Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the standard I expected from SUNRISE Mamlouk Palace, and it significantly affected my overall impression of the resort.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reviews these issues, particularly the Front Office service, consistency of guest treatment, and communication regarding room availability.
Sadly, this is an experience I would not want to repeat.

Our stay at Sentido Mamlouk was absolutely excellent! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The service and hospitality were outstanding, and we were constantly asked if we needed anything.
What really impressed us was how caring the staff were throughout the hotel. Every time you walk around, someone is there to ask if you’re happy or if there’s anything they can do for you. The pool was very clean, and the sandy beach was beautiful and enjoyable. The food was also excellent, with a great variety of options to choose from.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely be coming back again.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is hardworking and helpful. They offer high-level services. The food is good and there is always plenty of it. It is simply heaven on earth. The only minus I would give this place and the management to consider is the surface treatment of the marble tiles around the pool. I myself broke my hand on the fifth day of my stay. And it was far from the only accident by the pool during our stay. It would be worth considering making the tiles anti-slip.

The hotel is great and it very much felt like a top tier all-inclusive experience. The sport and animation team were great. The rooms are actually very nice and spacious. The food is good however a little bit ‘too nice’ as sometimes on holiday you just want to eat a proper burger. The facilities were ideal, plenty to do (if you can bear the heat) and overall we had a great stay.
