We stayed at the Salini Resort from Dec 21–26 and had a very peaceful experience. The location is beautiful and right by the sea, offering stunning views.
Highlights of our stay:
Room: Check-in was smooth. Our room was a great size and perfect for a family—it featured a large, comfortable king bed and a separate single bed for our daughter. Housekeeping was consistent and kept everything tidy every day.
Facilities: Since it was December and a bit chilly, we really appreciated the indoor heated pool. The steam room and "hot room" (sauna) were also excellent. We noticed the on-site spa often has good offers for guests.
Dining: There are three restaurants on-site. The breakfast buffet had plenty of high-quality options, though it would have been nice to see a bit more variation in the menu from day to day.
Location: While peaceful and quiet, it is still very accessible. We found it easy to get to Valletta by both taxi and the local bus.
Overall, a lovely, relaxing resort for a winter break. We would definitely recommend it!

We stayed at Salini Resort in Malta as a group of 12 for five nights, including five children, and I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences we have had anywhere in Europe.
From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff made us feel welcome, cared for, and valued. However, what truly made this stay exceptional was the outstanding restaurant team, who went far beyond what we could ever have expected.
Our family follows a strict vegetarian diet with no eggs or fish, and from the very first meal the restaurant staff took this incredibly seriously. Once they understood our requirements, they personally took responsibility for making sure we were always looked after. We never once felt like an inconvenience, instead we felt genuinely cared for and prioritised. With five children in our group, this gave us enormous peace of mind and allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our holiday.
A very special thank you goes to Krishna, the dinner supervisor, and Sobi, our wonderful server. Both of them were always smiling, attentive, and would regularly come to check if everything was okay. They made us feel like family rather than guests, and their kindness and professionalism made every meal a pleasure.
We also want to acknowledge the pastry chef, who went out of their way to prepare special vegetarian desserts just for us, carefully ensuring they contained no eggs. This thoughtful touch meant so much, especially for the children, who felt included and excited at every meal.
And finally, a huge thank you to the Head Chef, who took extra care to prepare beautiful, delicious meals for us and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The food was not just suitable for our diet, it was outstanding.
We have travelled extensively across Europe, but this was truly one of the nicest and most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had, and that is entirely thanks to the incredible restaurant and hospitality staff at Salini Resort.
We left feeling grateful, relaxed, and already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended.

Rooms can get cold but heating can be provided by reception, bus connections are so good and the bus stops and just outside. Amazing staff, lovely breakfast. The view is incredible.

An exceptional resort Hotel overlooking Salina Bay, with great transport connections (bus) to the rest of Malta. Can walk to St Paul's Bay in about 40-50 mins via the Salina Nature Reserve and Kennedy Park. The rooms are spacious, with balconies, en suite bathrooms and tea / coffee making tray. Guests have use of three pools (2 outdoor); Children may use one of the outdoor pools at any time, but the indoor Spa Pool must be booked in advance (no extra charge for the pool). There are 3 on site restaurants. The buffet breakfast offers a wife choice. The common areas are very well appointed, the staff attentive and friendly. This was an exceptionally good find and great value for a 4 night stay with breakfast included. We came for the October half term. Temperatures on Malta around 25 degrees. Comfortably warm. We will look forward to returning!

The hotel is extremely comfortable and elegantly designed. Guests can enjoy an infinity pool, several restaurants, and a spacious spa area. The staff are exceptionally attentive and genuinely friendly.
The location is stunning: a small beach is located right next to the hotel, and both the town of Buġibba and the Salina Nature Reserve are within walking distance. The hotel’s restaurants are also highly recommended — the food served there is delicious and varied.
