This is a lovely hotel in a quiet area of St. Julians. Rooms are spacious but the bathroom in the standard room is quite small. Pool area is clean, could do with a few more parasols, but staff are happy to find one for you. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice & very fresh. There are some lovely restaurants 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a hair appointment at the hotel spa, and Carmen was lovely & did a really good wash & blow. Would recommend.

There was a small delay in receiving our room at check-in, but the staff were very friendly, helpful, and did their best to assist us.
What we appreciated most was the food. The buffet was not very large, but everything available was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. You could really taste the quality in each dish.
Despite the small issue at the beginning, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely come back again.

Staff very friendly! The place is quiet, clean and has a marvelous sea view! The breakfast is súper complete and offers lactose free - gluten free options. The only thing I would complain is that I requested a manicure and the original price was supposed to be 10€, but then they ended up charging me 25€, saying that my service was different. I just recommend they are clearer when explaining the services.

Possibly the best location in Malta. Overlooking Spinola Bay and Balluta Bay at the front and Portomaso to the rear. Buses are a short walk away. If you are coming by car parking is very limited.
There's a weird sort of 70's futurism vibe going on. The check-in desks are straight out of Buck Rodgers.
Staff are polite but not particularly friendly. I wouldn't say unfriendly but neutral.
My Room was clean, comfortable and looked amazing. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was showing a little wear and tear (cracked and chipped sink). There was a weird chair, in the 70s future style which is by far the most uncomfortable thing I've sat on. And, I rode road racing bikes back in the 90s.
Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. I didn't try everything but some of the hot food was cold, and there's no warmed plates to put food on.
The outdoor pools looked popular. There is an indoor pool. There is a gym but it was out of use on my visit.
I had no issues with noise in my room. There was a loud vehicle in the street early in the morning
For £64.00 for 2 bed and breakfast mid April 2026 it was ok. I'd stay again

Fabulous position overlooking St Julian's bay and the marina and from the outside, the hotel looks very classy. Inside however is a different story. The hotel is let down by the dull and basic furnishings, the ongoing issues with the lifts (only one decent one working) and one in a state of disrepair. It was very slow and I'd have hated to be using them in high season. The staff lacked basic communication skills and looked miserable, although the lady who cleaned our room and spoke no English had a lovely smile. The bathroom was very small for a superior room, with a walk in shower which was very temperamental in getting the temperature right. Views were amazing and about the best part. We didnt use the pools, as outdoor was too cold (December) and indoor was very underwhelming. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good selection of hot/cold but the plastic chairs again gave a very basic feel to the dining area. The patio doors in all the areas of the hotel were very stiff and difficult to move. The air con in the room did not work. Room safe required swiping of a card and the condiments in the room were very sparce. Overall, its rated as 4 star for the facilities but did not have the feel of a 4 star, more 3. Disappointing but did the job for a 2 night stay. Don't think I'd return.
