Enjoyed the 4 nights stay there. Out of all the hotels we've passed by, dB had the nicest location. Nice beach at your door step , nice views and the hotel itself was great. Indoor and outdoor pools, spa, many different places to eat, all on all inclusive. Different events every night, plenty to do to keep you entertained. Staff was very respectful and nice, the food was good, just not great. But they do their best to mix it up , every day, for all 3 meals; you also get a snack bar between 4-5pm which is handy if you miss lunch or want an early dinner. All in all, can't complain.
Room was tidy and spacious, much more than you'd expect for the sort of price we've paid.
The hotel itself it's very quiet, but bear in mind it's next to a fairly busy road, so it can be quite noisy sometimes, which is fine, except at night. ( Wasn't really an issue for us, just something to bear in mind)
Will be back to Malta at some point and even though I'd like to try a different area of the country, it's tough to not go to Melieha. Will most likely become our go to.

Great place in a great location. Its genuinely a good hotel. The staff are super friendly to kids from receptionists to electricians. Its very child friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very good calibre, our cleaner Manoj did an impecible job of tidying the room early when our daughter got sick. Thank you! Cold dishes were incredible, warm dishes ok but nothing to write home about. Booze was plentiful, all local and the staff wernt stingy with the alcohol. The bookable restaurant lavant was simply amazing and for a buffet, a cut above the rest. I think the only 2 improvements could be 1) hot buffet in the main room doesnt seem to have a natural flow to it other than Beakfast. Eg theres rice, but no sauce to go with it, stir fry noodles, but no asian side dish etc. All good food individually and well made, but nothing to tie the dishes together. 2) drinks tokens, need abandoning. Its clearly done to ensure guests bring back their empties which im not entirely against, not for eco friendliness, but we ended up losing the tokens and the queues during peak times were high, jus lt to drop off the glasses in exchange back. Either way, a great holiday by all.

Perfect 8-Day Stay — Beautiful Views, Fantastic Staff, and Worth Every Mom
February 2026
We stayed for 8 days and had a wonderful time from start to finish.
Room 4220 had the most amazing sea view — it was a joy to wake up to the ocean every morning. The room was always clean and well maintained, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job throughout our stay.
We chose the All Inclusive Plus package, and it was absolutely worth it. The Plus Lounge was a lovely place to relax at different times of the day, and the staff there were excellent. Melissa, in particular, was a real star — friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Being able to enjoy wine by the bottle in both the restaurants and lounge was a wonderful touch.
Breakfast in the Plus Lounge was especially enjoyable, with freshly cooked-to-order options each morning. The roasted Maltese sausage was delicious. There was also a great choice of restaurants across the hotel, with plenty of variety to suit everyone.
The entertainment was excellent, with a great mix of options each evening. We also really enjoyed the indoor pool. It was heated perfectly, and we appreciated that there were both family sessions and adult-only times — the adult-only session was particularly relaxing.
This is a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. It offers a great balance of family-friendly activities while still providing peaceful adult-only areas. Every member of staff was a credit to the hotel, and their care and professionalism made our stay even more special.

We stayed as family with our 3 year old one week in January 2026 in the db Seabank Resort and Spa hotel. We had a family room (poolside) with AI.
We enjoyed it very much. Hotel offers nice inside activites (Wellness, very warm indoor pools [1x 0,3m, 1x 0,9m, 1x 1,2m and a Jacuzzi], kids-playground and many more). We did not even use all facilities.
The food was very good and varied daily. Also the offered a-la-carte restaurants were really good and in January it was easy to get a table. The offering of Cola, Fanta & Kinnie and more was great, and we also enjoyed the beer and good mixed cocktails. Only the coffee could be better, but it was still fine.
The staff is highly motivated and very friendly. We had some issues in our room (heating, hair dryer), but after reporting them they were fixed promptly. We had the impression, that the hotel has well implemented and exectuted processes and is focused on a good customer experience.
The hotel is located on a sandy beach, separated by a busy road (pedestrian traffic light available). However, our room (poolside) was very quiet. The busy road has the advantage of many bus-lines stopping directly infront of the hotel. Location in the north of the island offered some nice kids-friendly activities (trip to Gozo, National Aquarium, Popeye Village, ...).
Overall it was a nice stay in the db Seabank Resort and Spa hotel.

One of the most beautiful large hotels on Malta 🇲🇹, situated in Mellieha Bay. We took our grandson to play in the toddlers area & kids section, while we had lunch etc. One can eat there while kids play close by. Near the toddlers/ 3+ year olds area are stuffed lifesize animals for the kids to enjoy. A lion 🦁, which moves its head & roars gently, a cheetah, a rhino 🦏 to ride on a guerilla 🦍, monkey 🙊, crocodiles 🐊 and an enormous giraffe 🦒 There is another section for older kids playroom. With big jeep 🚙, buggies to ride and many games too, plus a bowling alley here as well. This is just a wee section of this fabulous hotel.
