Staying at the Royal River Hotel in Tenerife was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, rafa (we loved his jokes) but us at ease and made us feel genuinely welcomed, and the whole property gives off a calm, boutique luxury vibe that instantly makes you relaxed
The villas are beautifully spacious, stylish, and completely private. Having our own pool felt like such a treat, and the attention to detail throughout the room was outstanding. The entire hotel is spotless and maintained to perfection.
The food and restaurants were fantastic . Breakfast was exceptional with so much choice and fresh, high quality options. The dining areas have relaxed atmosphere, are warm and welcoming the staff's (Nancy manuel, Latino) makes every meal feel special.
What really stands out about Royal River is how peaceful and serene it is. it never felt crowded or busy. It’s the perfect escape for couples looking to unwind, relax, and enjoy a bit of luxury.

Had a fantastic 3 night get away over new year, the celebrations, food and drinks where fabulous. Greeted each morning with a friendly face Nancy looked after us serving us a fantastic breakfast service. Lunches we had a mix of room service and within the hotel and dinner in the pineapple and Top Brasserie, wine cellars are well stocked with international options but the Spanish wines on offer are exceptional. This was my third stay at Royal River with my family over the festive period. This is a truly exceptional hotel and I have had the most wonderful holidays here. The accommodation is complete luxury with spacious rooms and gardens leading on to the swimming river than connects the rooms. We loved swimming down the river. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. Nancy was especially helpful and friendly. We ate at a selection of restaurants in Caleta where you can catch sunset and also go for a dip in the sea! This year my brother and I tried some local hiking which was a great addition to the trip.

The River villas are amazing, own pool that offers access to a pool that looks and feels like a river - it connects all the pool villas. The price is very good for the ammenities and location. Staff is very polite everyday, in every situation. The room service food could have been tastier - the restaurant food during the day is amazing. And the rooms should be better equipped because this is a 5-stat hotel. Should you book it? Of course. Do I feel like coming back for more. Of course.

Absolutely fabulous hotel with equally fabulous staff.
This is an adult only resort and is just perfect for a peacefully quiet relaxing stay.
Every detail, to ensure your personal needs are catered for has been considered. The exceptional personal service at breakfast and evening meal is unrivalled.
We personally would recommend b&b and select the nights you require evening meals in the hotel. The food is outstanding, very rich, beautifully presented, with huge portions, but for us the menu was quite restricted over an eleven night stay, especially if you cannot eat fish, or dislike steak tartare. We would have preferred a couple of nights with very plain food.
You will need to take a taxi or hire a car if you want to get around. The hotel is quite isolated with no local shops in close proximity, but that adds to the totally relaxed atmosphere.
If you want a thoroughly relaxing holiday this is the hotel. Everything about it is outstanding.
We are very much looking forward to our return visit in 2026.
