Lovely hotel, but not a 5 star from my experience. The hotel is clean, spacious and relatively quiet as it seems to be mainly for older couples, hence the awful evening entertainment. We're in our mid fifties but both felt very young in comparison to the other guests. Breakfast is very good and plentiful with loads of choice. We ate out every night and found our own entertainment as 4 guys singing along to a Bees Gees backing track (just one example) doesn't cut it. Great pool, easy to get a sunbed. The kiddies pool is deserted so we messed about on the slides in there. The reasons its not a 5 star (1) we spent 5 days without shower gel as it ran out and didn't get replaced (2) no bottled water in the fridge which should be topped up daily from my experience of other hotels (3) maintenance. Some lifts not working, communal toilets, taps not working, hand dryers not working, handles loose on cubicles. Just little things that need attention to make this 5 star. Other than that, its lovely. Just a point (not a criticism), obviously this is a hotel so you expect bar prices to be high but a pint of local beer is 1/3 of the price in the town

Really recommend this hotel! Staff were friendly and were very helpful when giving advice and information. The room was very spacious with a balcony. The cleanliness of the hotel and room was excellent. We got bed and breakfast and the variety was amazing. There is a rooftop pool for adults only which has a stunning view of the beach and mountains. There was Entertainment every day at the pool such as aqua gym, bouncy castle, water carpet, games etc which is a bonus if travelling with kids. The beach is within a 5/10 minute walk and has so many restaurants to choose from. Loved this hotel.

Have just returned from our 3rd visit to GF Gran Costa Adeje and just as our previous visits it was excellent.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are excellent, always on hand to help you out.
The rooms have been recently refurbished and are very spacious and have excellent facilities including great air conditioning.
The food is fresh and prepared by an excellent team who again are happy to help with any requests.
We went during half term which meant the hotel was at capacity however the adults only rooftop pool meant we could avoid the main pool areas which were very busy with families enjoying their holidays.
We stayed half board however the hotel is located a short walk from many bars and restaurants and the beach is a ten minute walk.
Very pleased with our stay and we hope to return soon.

Absolutely shocking service from the so called night manager! JUAN CARLOS! I Went out for food at 7.30pm and came back to the room at 9.20pm.
Realising that someone had been in my room a moved my pillows, bearing in mind the cleaners had already serviced my room this morning.
After calling down to reception to ask if someone could come up to my room and look as my back door also doesn’t lock, i was told that the cleaners had been, please see photos attached, for what reason the cleaners had been in my room at 7.30pm at night is beyond me. The bed was not made! I always make the bed myself and this was exactly how I left it but the pillows were on the bed too! I was informed by the night manager he would not come up even tho I had told him I have valuables in my safe and didn’t feel safe here.
I went down to speak to juan and was so shocked by his attitude towards the situation, I asked for his name and he threw a pen and paper on the side and pointed to his name badge, very smug unhelpful and should not be in charge of a 5* establishment!
The hotel is lovely and all the staff work hard and are polite but this has really put me off staying here, I had extended my stay earlier on today and when I asked to cancel it I was told yet again there is nothing he can do!
I am now going to have to carry my valuables with me for the duration of my stay which is not the service you expect from a 5* hotel!
First and last time I stay at the gf gran!

Stayed at GF Gran Costa Adeje and overall it is a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. However, there were a few things that let it down for us.
The biggest disappointment was the all-inclusive food selection. If you are paying separately, the variety and choice available is brilliant, but for all-inclusive guests the options felt very basic and limited.
Another downside was the children’s park area. Kids can only use it if they are signed into the kids’ club, which was frustrating as we expected it to be openly accessible for families staying at the hotel.
The room mini fridge again we was sold the holiday with it advertised as having a mini fridge stocked. It's not the case.
The family rooms also felt quite cramped once a cot was added. There was very little space around the room other than at the bottom, this resulted in not been able to get down the side of the cot or comfortably move around the room.
Overall, it’s a clean and pleasant hotel, but there are definitely areas that could be improved, especially considering it is advertised as a 5-star experience.
This doesn't put me off coming back to the hotel I just know I won't pay the top end amount for all inclusive I would just do bed and breakfast.
The sun bed guys are a definite winner for us, the took no prisoners before 10am. If you wasn't on your sunbed the property and towels were removed.
However you could come to the pool at any time and find a bed.
