We were very impressed and satisfied with our experience during our weeks stay in the Relax Double package suit. Although the weather was unseasonallycold, the hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful and we felt very much welcomed and 'at home'. We therefore enjoyed our holiday very much.
With regards to the atmosphere and design we particularly loved the fresh flowers throughout the hotel seating areas and on breakfast/ dinner table - very beautiful and felt like luxury.
We also noted that the architecture and decor throughout hotel spaces was very high quality. We appreciated the incorporation of the various cultural influences of Spain/ Lanzarote - e.g. Moorish and Andalusian design, Artesonado wooden strapwork carpentry, Romanesque vaulted ceilings, heavy stone benches outside the front. (I hope I have got these correct but I may not have!). This all created a very pleasant, warm atmosphere and energy within the vast hotel space - and there are so many options for seating and lounging throughout.
The availability, attentiveness and helpfulness of all staff everywhere was great.
The food and drinks quality was excellent throughout (even the buffet dinner was a quality option for nights where we didn't go to a restaurant). The luxurious Isla de Lobos restaurant was perfect for breakfast and we always looked forward to this (we got this with our package). It is nice to sit outside overlooking the sea at breakfast - just perfect. And such high quality food and drink. They do very high quality evening dining too. The Tunera pool bar had just the right vibe and as always, attentive staff and ice cold drinks/ delicious food (includes veggie options).
We spent a lot of time in the hotel as the weather wasn't perfect, and we were so glad to have picked Princesa Yaiza - it is an excellent hotel. Thanks very much for a wonderful stay.

We had an exceptional stay at this 5-star hotel in Lanzarote. From the moment we arrived the team made us feel welcome with warm, attentive service. Check-in was quick and hassle free.
Our room was spacious, beautifully styled, and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping was thorough without ever being intrusive.
The dining options were outstanding. There were several restaurants on site, each with its own character and menu. The main buffet offered a great variety of fresh, high-quality choices for breakfast and dinner. The Isla de Lobos restaurants were excellent too infact Service in all the restaurants was attentive and friendly, and every meal felt like a treat.

Exceptional!
Just finishing up a week with 2 adults and 2 children under 2. The cleanest hotel we have ever been to. Rooms consistently cleaned to perfection by extremely polite staff.
Polite staff throughout the hotel from start to finish and all facilities so clean. Excellent breakfast every day with unbelievably large selection to meet all needs.
The biggest highlight for us though are the incredible kids staff and in particular the disco nights! Without fail, every single night at 7:30pm the staff are brilliant at disco night. They give 100% and were brilliant every single night with their catchy songs and getting the children involved. The certificates for the kids last night at the disco is also such a nice touch.
I didn’t get all the staff names unfortunately but they were all so good. Special shout out to the male member of staff that is Carlos Alcaraz twin 😉 he is incredibly amazing with the kids

Lively, busy resort with plenty of bars, varied European, Asian etc restaurants and cafes as well as local offerings including our favourites sangria and padron peppers.
Hotel Princesa Yaiza was fabulous! We upgraded to a room on 6th floor for a magnificent sea view - well worth it for our second week.
Our rooms - a suite for the first week and junior suite for the second, were clean, with very comfortable, huge, beds.
We thoroughly enjoyed playing padel for free for the first time on the court adjacent to the hotel. We were half-board and the buffet food was outstanding, in particular the salads and canapes at dinner and giant fresh prawns every night. The hotel staff were terrific, nothing was too much trouble and they were all friendly, cheerful and professional.

I was excited when I got given champagne and went to our room, which was good and very big. Many of the staff — the receptionist, soft play guy, are friendly and pro. Others shrug and say ‘don’t ask me!’ — eg when you ask why the hot pool is cold, or they don’t come back with orders, forget your table and you’ve got to get up etc. Seemed a little understaffed in places. Great location though — beautiful spot, great drinks terrace, enjoyed the piano bar guy, tennis courts, and the Italian place was perfectly decent. I’d say avoid the pool bar/cafe which was pretty dodgy on all fronts.
We also had to ask several times for room service items until being told ‘there isn’t any’ — eg for a heater when I was ill, sort of essential in chilly Jan. I don’t know how all the neighbours compare, it was better than the cheaper ones I’ve stayed at here but do watch out out mainly for the food, as we all had to agree it was just generally poor, especially the buffet, which was very overpriced.
They need to focus on fewer, better dishes, just simple things done well would have been good. Room service had the idea - fresh gazpacho, basic pizza, whatever. And the baby had a good time because food is food to her. So, I promise I’m not some grumpy vacationer with an axe to grind: some perks, good rooms and location, but sort of iffy elsewhere and they need to sort out their food. We felt a bit ripped off by that.
Even out the bad bits for me and you could have a five-star experience. Also, to judge by the fact these same problems seem to come up in many reviews over time, I’m not sure I trust that they’re super on the case with it. Three stars and a general twinkle.
