Very big resort, with a lot of nice pools and water slides. Beds at the pool could be more, they were mostly full.
Nice beach, where you can stay at a sister hotel, but you need to bring your own towels there, bc they have not enough.
Food was delicious and a lot of choice!
The people who work at the resort (cleaning, service and cooking) were all very helpfull and friendly. Tip: if you want to tip them, keep in mind that they cannot make use of euro coins (bank won't accept them), so maybe change the coins for them with bills or Egyption pounds.
Also, people with dissabilities can go to the toilet at as many places as non-disabled people, you don't see that often.

Unfortunately, the check-out process was managed in an extremely unreasonable manner. Due to our arrival at 2:00 AM, we had paid for an additional night in advance. On our arrival day, we did not benefit from lunch or dinner services. Our departure flight was scheduled for midnight, yet we were informed that we were required to leave the hotel by 5:00 PM. We clearly stated that we only wished to remain in the lobby without using any hotel services until our flight.
This request was refused without any flexibility. After a prolonged and uncomfortable discussion, we were instructed to leave the hotel entirely and were even told to wait at another property. As a group of five adults and one child, we were forced to stand outside with our luggage, which was both humiliating and unnecessary.
What is particularly disappointing is that this exact situation had been discussed and clarified via email two months before our stay. Despite this, management chose to ignore the prior agreement and enforced an early removal from the hotel. As a result, we had to walk through the streets of Hurghada with our suitcases to find a place to wait.
A management team committed to genuine hospitality would have allowed guests to wait in the lobby. This situation required minimal effort and basic empathy. Instead, the handling of the matter demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism.
We had originally intended to return in the future, but due to this experience and the management’s attitude, we will not be choosing this hotel again.

A great place for a family vacation.
Guests can use all three Pickalbatros hotels located next to each other, which is very convenient - Aqua Park, Aqua Blue, Aqua Vista.
There is an aqua park for all ages, starting with very young children.
The hotel is very sports oriented: a well equipped gym, outdoor running areas, organized yoga and stretching classes, foam rolling sessions, a CrossFit area, a lap swimming pool, a sauna with an ice pool, bicycle rental, and courts for all types of tennis.
The hotel is on the second line, but the walk to the sea takes about 15 minutes, and there is also a free hotel shuttle.
There is a designated private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as its own bar and snack bar.
The coral reef is quite modest, but there is still something to see.
The rooms are not new, but they are neat and clean.
The food is varied. A special highlight is the pastry shop with a Moroccan pastry chef. In the evenings, chocolate fountains are set up, and there is a wide selection of desserts to suit every taste.
The hotel also has a free VR room, located downstairs near the reception of the Aqua Blue hotel.
I would recommend this hotel to families with children as well as to guests who enjoy sports and an active lifestyle.

We had an amazing stay at Pickalbatros Aqua Park Resort – Hurghada. This hotel is actually part of a large complex that includes Aqua Park, Aqua Blue, Vista Resort, and the Beach Resort across the road (easily reachable on foot or by a free shuttle). All facilities—pools, water parks, and the beautiful private beach—are shared among the three hotels, which makes the whole area feel huge and full of things to explore. Everything is well maintained and clean, and the beach views are truly stunning. My personal favorite was the VR experience, where each guest can play one game per day. It was a fun highlight of our stay!
The rooms were also excellent: very spacious, comfortable, and almost every room has its own private balcony, which was a big plus for us.
When it comes to food, there are three main restaurants located across the different areas, several bars, and even a bakery dedicated to desserts (my favorite spot!). The à la carte restaurants need to be booked at least two days in advance. We’re especially grateful to Anna, who helped us secure our reservation. Although the à la carte dishes weren’t exactly our taste, we actually enjoyed the buffet restaurants even more.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi. In some areas of the resort, the connection was weak, so we had to rely on our own mobile data.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Hurghada.

BAD Administration
The hotel standards are high. The food and drinks are quite sufficient. Meat dishes are served daily, both boiled and grilled. The staff are very attentive. The hotel is very clean; they wash it with a hose every day. Room service left us lovely surprises every day. We went at the beginning of January. There are heated pools and an aquapark. We were able to swim in the Red Sea on December 31st. You can also use the pools, dining areas, and bars of other hotels. The animation team is also very good. Children definitely won't get bored. Walid and the other young staff at the Aqua Resort Culina restaurant were very attentive and polite.
However, the bad part was this: the management unfortunately put us in a very difficult situation. I had purchased an extra night's stay because we were checking in at 2 AM. On the day we arrived, we didn't use either lunch or dinner. In return, our flight was at midnight. At check-out, they told us we could stay until 5 PM at the latest and that we had to collect our luggage and leave. We said we wouldn't eat the hotel food but would wait in the lobby until our flight time. We struggled for half an hour, but they treated us worse than if they had kicked us out. They told us to go wait at another hotel. We, 5 adults and 1 child, were left stranded with our belongings.
I had emailed them two months prior to confirming the situation. Despite this, they kicked us out of the hotel at 5 PM. With our suitcases, 5 adults and 1 child, we searched for a hotel in the streets of Hurghada.
The management should have shown initiative and let us wait in the lobby, but their behavior was completely unacceptable. We are complaining about this.
We were planning to return in the coming years, but due to the management's attitude, we will definitely not choose this hotel again.
