My stay at the Old Palace Resort in Sahl Hasheesh, Hurghada, was a negative experience. The bed linen was full of stains, and the staff was rude—some simply lacked basic manners, while others were overly pushy and intrusive in their communication, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Most of the sunbeds on the beach were broken or damaged, the food was monotonous, and the overall hygiene was not up to standard. Unsurprisingly, I ended up with stomach issues starting from the third day of my stay.The front desk staff was far from friendly, but the staff at the lobby bar—especially a woman whose name I don't know—showed extremely rude behavior that is truly disgraceful for a resort. I feel sorry for the few employees who were actually nice, but the vast majority made zero effort to accommodate guests or make the stay pleasant. The evening showtime was weak, so there was really no point in attending. I deeply regret spending my vacation at this resort and would never return. The staff treated us as if our stay hadn't been fully paid for. It's worth noting that this is supposed to be a 5-star hotel, yet many basic things require an extra charge, such as the SPA center. We were informed that the in-room minibar was complimentary; however, we never found any food or drinks in it. The sea is beautiful, and that is truly the only positive memory I will take away from this trip. The hotel interior is nice, but unfortunately, given all the negative experiences, it is negligible.

The location was amazing, and the services were very good. The pool was great and clean, and the beach was wonderful. Regarding the buffet, some days had limited options, but the food tasted excellent every time. The only downsides were that the bathroom was quite small and the mattress was a bit hard. However, the staff truly made a difference—they are top-notch and highly professional. Even when a problem occurred, they responded and resolved it incredibly fast. Overall, it was a great stay!"

The kids club and animation team are absolutely amazing! My daughter had the best time during our stay—she didn't want to leave. A huge shoutout to Hagar, who was incredible with her. They made bracelets, did drawings, and enjoyed so many fun activities together. Hagar's patience and warmth really stood out, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing our daughter was in such great hands. Highly recommend this place for families!

We had a wonderful stay at Old Palace Resort. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and always helpful, the food was great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.
