Nice rooms bit dated but clean and big.
All inclusive drinks selection is limited but food is nice.
Location is ok, close to beach but resort centre is quute far.
Pool area is not nice nothing like pictures.
They take €100 euro deposit on arrival. This should be returned.
Staff are friendly. I won't return due to location and pool.
Overall nice enough resort

Recently visited monica isabel hotel. We waited 5 hours for our room to be ready... room was lovely and big and a beautiful veiw. Thank god cause every thing else was very disappointing. Only one lift working for such a big hotel, food was basic and cold. Not enough sunbeds down by the pool and the pool needed to warn people about the sudden change in depth as you went into the pool saw lots of ppl ho under the water. This hotel could be fabulous if it was up dated and re modelled. We loved Portugal but wouldn't stay in this hotel again

Stayed at Mónica Isabel Beach Club — absolutely loved it! The hotel is right on the oceanfront, just steps from the beach with amazing sea views. The room was bright and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean — would definitely come back!

- We had a lovely big balcony with sea views and you could see the evening entertainment from there which was good (most rooms don't have this we were lucky)
- The fridge was very nice and cold for our beverages
- It was only a short walk to the beach which was a nice beach that had two nice restaurants on it
- The cleaners were very nice ladies
- When checking in we were told we would be escorted to our room, we were left outside with our bags for around 15 minutes, out of sight of any staff members.
This didn't give us the best first impression.
- The lady who checked us in missed out a lot of information like where the hotel's restaurant was, what the check out time was, where the shuttle picks you up from, how to turn on the air con, so we had to figure this out on our own or go back and ask reception.
- The safe in our room didn't work which was annoying for us as we did have things we wanted to put in there.
- The room was really outdated and looks different to the pictures online
- We didn't use the pool as it looked crusty and the pool also looks very different to pictures online (we got catfished)
- No tea and coffee station in rooms even though there is a kitchen in the room
- The kitchen has old cupboards which are empty! No plates or cutlery or anything. The kitchen literally is a sink and fridge
- When selecting rooms it asks if you want two single beds or one double and we picked one double but got two singles beds pushed together.
- The shower curtain pole was broken and being held up by a chain and hook attached to the ceiling, not sure why they did that when it looks like an easy fix to just fix the shower curtain pole.
- The ceiling almost looks like an office ceiling so maybe used to be an office? They really should of changed that.
- There were some ants in the room, they could of entered through the massive gaps at the top and bottom of the front door.
- The floor of the bathtub is yellow so we wore our flip flops when showering because it looked a bit gross.
The hotel is spread across a wide piece of land so some of the rooms will be a far walk from reception. The hotel is in steep hill so some rooms to get to them you may have to walk up and down this hill all the time which is inconvenient.
VALUE FOR MONEY = 👎🏼

Did not enjoy stay. Room was far from main hotel and the restaurant. Food was not great. Lifts weren't working good. Overall not the best. I don't think I would return to this hotel. View from restaurant was lovely though
