Very good value for money!
Nice swimming pool, good temperature.
Rooms are indeed a bit outdated but we didn't really mind, there were also a few ants.
We had a big terrace and a nice view on the Silves castle.
Breakfast is very good.
Service at the reception and breakfast is friendly.
A minor point is that there are some cats on the balconies, I did not like that.

Perfect little 3 Star hotel. Great location, helpful and friendly staff. Hotel bar is very reasonably priced. Views over Silves are stunning.
Room is comfortable, with plenty of room and a lovely aircon system (outside 31° in room 17°)
Pool is lovely, not busy so always plenty of beds.
A perfect 4 night break location.

Beautiful hotel on edge on Silves. Staff so helpful and friendly. Rooms are lovely, very clean..only thing is a mini fridge in each given that there is no restaurant here would be excellent addition to rooms! 10 min walk.over the bridge into Silves which is a lovley town. This is a very quiet peaceful location, not for those looking for party etc.

For the price, this was a nice surprise.
Diligent service. Extremely pleasant bar/ terrace.
Lack of a restaurant makes it mandatory to withhold 1 star, especially seeing how Silves is poorly served when it comes to finding a meal, sadly fifty years frozen in time.
Highly recommended for a short stay.

Spent a weekend at this hotel in February 2026 and were delighted with our choice. Homely hotel with very friendly staff. Great location, just a 10 minute stroll to the pretty town of Silves. Beautiful grounds, comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms a bit dated but this adds to the charm of the hotel. Ample self service breakfast with good selections. Exceptional value for money. Recommend booking a castle view room for a lovely floodlit vista of Silves castle, across the river.
