I stayed here for a week from the 29th January 2026. My room was a bit tir d but clean. I had a sea view. Unfortunately the weather was terrible. But that's not the hotels fault lol. The food was lovely and a good selection. Unfortunately I fractured my ankle on second night. The hotel staff were great. They went out of their way to assist me. They even loaned me a wheelchair to get me around. This hotel has lots of stairs so isn't suitable for disabled people. However there are service lifts which the hotel staff happily transferred me from one floor to another so that I still had full access. The rep was very helpful too. I enjoyed the evening entertainment. There was a free shuttle into town several times a day. For the price this is a decent holiday.

This is a 3-star hotel, but it was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are small but quite sufficient for two people. I really liked that all rooms have a balcony. Very good location, you can walk straight from the hotel to the beach and enjoy incredible views of the ocean and the coast. The service was pleasant and polite. The staff was always ready to help, and there were no problems. We only had breakfast at the hotel. The menu didn't change, but everything was always fresh. There was fresh fruit, vegetables, sweet pastries, and sandwiches. Sausages, ham, cheese, etc. Quite a good selection. We were satisfied with our stay.

We have traveled to many all-inclusive hotels in Turkey, Bulgaria, and Egypt, and Auramar was by far the best experience we’ve ever had.
From the very first moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. Ion from the front desk made us feel at home instantly, with such warmth and kindness that it truly set the tone for our entire stay.
When we stepped outside, we completely fell in love with the location. It felt like heaven on earth: the rocks, the ocean view, the Love Tree, the garden, and the pool all felt like something out of a fantasy world.
Our premium room was another highlight. We loved drinking coffee on our balcony, the daily cleaning, and all the thoughtful amenities that made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.
The food was our absolute favorite out of all the hotels we’ve visited. There was so much variety, the ingredients were very high quality, the desserts were amazing, and the staff was always smiling and attentive.
Even though the hotel is about a 30-minute walk from Albufeira city center, we really appreciated the free private shuttle bus, which takes you anywhere you need in just 5 minutes.
We visited Auramar just before the birth of our baby girl, so it felt like our last holiday as a couple. We truly enjoyed the honeymoon package with champagne, chocolates, flower petals, and especially the peaceful, quiet atmosphere of the hotel—something we deeply appreciated before becoming parents.
There were also plenty of activities during both the day and night, from sangria workshops to karaoke. The bar drinks were high quality and very diverse, with great options for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinkers (which I really appreciated).
We truly hope to come back one day with our baby girl. We highly recommend Auramar to anyone looking for a dream holiday filled with beauty, care, and unforgettable memories.

10/10 value for money, the complaints in some of the comments seem to not keep this in mind.
We had a very fun 5 days in this hotel mid November as two friends in our late 20s
There were mostly older people this time of year, but that was actually really fun and probably more calm.
The animation team (shout out to Luna and Ro!) did an amazing job at keeping us entertained with plenty of games like French balls, midget golf, archery, aqua aerobics, etc and each night the winners would get a medal, certificate and a bottle of champagne.
The rooms are maybe a little bit outdated, but they’re functional, quite spacious and clean. For this price I don’t expect something very new and modern.
We had the all inclusive, and once again, for this price I do not get why people complain. The food is buffet style, so don’t expect the best food you have ever eaten. Overall the food was tasty with plenty to choose from, also enough vegetarian options, and the dishes differed a bit each day.
The location is absolutely beautiful with beautiful views from the pool and beach access.
I’d recommend this hotel!

I had the best time here. The resort was big and clean . Great food that changes everyday. The meals were delicious and nice. The all inclusive package was worth it.
However, the services was quite terrible. The hotel isn’t good for someone with mobility issues. Also, I struggled to find my room as the description was vague- normally, someone should lead me to my room but I had to do that myself; terrible!
