Wow wow wow!
Just back from the most amazing stay at Lanzarote Village Hotel.
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better stay. The hotel is Clean, Modern and welcoming.
A family of 4 our room was surprisingly spacious, we stayed in room 1451 which had a large balcony overlooking both the pool, hot tub and in the distance the beach and sea, we honestly couldn't have asked for anything better.
Staying all inclusive we were a little concerned before we arrived that the food would be a little limited and would become boring but how wrong could we be.
All meal times, breakfast, lunch and dinner offered a huge variety of options and if you can't find something to eat at meal times you really must be a fussy eater.
Breakfast offered, hot cooked food such as Egg (boiled, scramble and fried), Sausage, bacon, beans etc.
Around the other side of the hot counter was porridge, hot fruit salads, churros, pancakes.
Across on the salad bar area at breakfast time there was a selection of cereals, yogurts, cheeses, meats, dried fruits, jams, honey, a variety of milks.
Bread, what a selection, brown, white, seeded, loafs, slices or cobs all available and ready to be toasted or spread with your favourite topping. Lastly a selection of pastries, pane chocolate, croissants, biscuits, cakes sitting next to 5 or 6 different fruits.
Both lunch and dinner offered the same vast range and usually offered multiple meat options, fish, turkey fillets, steak, meat balls and these where accompanied with rices, salads, vegetables, chips etc. Just overall so much choice.
The restaurant staff couldn't do enough for you, always removing empty bowls and plates from your table and would also ask if you needed additional drinks etc. They're also very engaging and we often spent 5 minutes with different staff members just having a general chat about the island and of course Spain winning the world cup.
The pool area was maintenaned continuously both on an evening and first thing on a morning. The hot tub would be emptied daily and wiped down, re filled ready for the following day.
The paths where sprayed down and swept and the pool was always being maintained with the pool brush etc.
One thing to note, there is a sign in reception asking you not to put towels on beds before 9:30am, we did witness pool staff scooping up multiple towels at 8:30am and piling them up in the corner. There were a few heated words with some guests and pool staff but the signage and hotel requests were being ignored. We never had an issue getting 4 sun loungers and some mornings we didn't take towels down until 10am.
Other facilities on site where the gym (very small and didn't use, looked a little dated), football / tennis court (good condition, pitch needs to be booked and rackets can be hired for a couple of euros, we booked twice, kids loved it), Games room (2 pool tables and air hockey, a little dated and kept breaking down).
Entertainment was a little mixed, kids mini disco at 8pm every evening, great for kids up to 5 years old but probably a little young for kids older. Later in the evenings we had Spanish dancers one night, acoustic singer another, magician, and a karaoke night all good fun but finished by 10pm or before which was disappointing as that would then usually result in the bar emptying out and many people going to bed. I certainly feel a disco each night would be very welcomed by guests both adult and children after the entertainment had finished but maybe the hotel doesn't offer this for a specific reason. Day time entertainment was non existent apart from aqua aerobics for half an hour each day.
Hotel location was perfect for us, a 10 min walk left or right at the bottom of the hill offered a wide selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Reception staff where superb, very informative, very helpful and very welcoming to both adults and children.
Overall possibly the best holiday we've had in a long time and for my son this was his first ever holiday abroad and he's still talking about it.
We'd love to book again.

The pictures on website makes this place beautiful but in reality is not as in the pictures
The location is poor it feels dull
Family room is just one room not 2 like i have experienced on other places
Just pay £100-£200 more in total and go to H10
Is 2 times better. More food variety, and the mattress on the bed more comfortable. I have 110 kg and I cannot sleep on beds hard as the floor. I got so numb on this bed. It feels wrong . Anyway this is my experience. However especially if u have children and u want more for them like activities , clubs etc

We have just come back from a stay at hotel lanzarote village, we couldnt fault alot if im honest, the rooms were spacious, beds were really comfy, cleaners went in everyday and cleaned well, cleaners were all friendly, and I loved they put my sons blanket on the bed in the morning all tucked in, food was decent, the only thing I can moan about is that chefs were throwing food away in the bin, when people were still eating, and I went to get desserts and the one male chef said I couldnt have any!! Olesta I think her name was on reception was sooo lovely!! She definitely deserves recognition! She was so good with my children!! Hotel is very well looked after, and is in a decent location to the main shops!! Will definitely be returning!! My little 3 year old says she misses the hotel already bless her!! Xxx

We have just finished a weeks stay all inclusive, I have read negative reviews about this hotel before I arrived, however, this hotel is spot on.
The rooms, spacious and modern, cleaned every day with water provided.
The staff, really friendly and attentive and plentiful.
The amenities, pool area isn't huge but is ok for a hotel this size, gym is well equipped and a sauna is also available, the restaurant area is really airy and spacious and the bar is really nice.
The entertainment isn't for everyone but you can hardly expect Vegas performances, we enjoyed the relaxed vibe in the bar at night.
The food was spot on, the best all inclusive food we have had. Loads of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner and most importantly the food was hot.
This hotel is brilliant for a couples holiday or a family holiday, the staff are amazing and the food bang on.
Please ignore the bad reviews, this place is great and we will be back.

Nice smaller resort. Stayed half board. Breakfast has decent coffee and good selection. Dinner also no complaints about food. Staff very friendly. We spent most of the time driving around lanzarote. But if you don't have a hire car you might find it not so well located. Our girls didn't like the local beach it's sandy, but not sheltered for swimming. We walked 30 minutes to playa grande instead.
