The view at the hotel is sensational and made up for the poor experience with the all inclusive. The pool area is very dated although the pool is excellent. Rooms are very dated (some are currently being refurbished which is required) no AC which isnt great. Although pretty clean, see the occasional bug but to be expected in sub tropical climate. Restaurant being refurbished during our stay (although we weren't notified) as a result food and drinks very poor in terms of choice and quality, by far the worst all inclusive offer I've experienced, this includes the snack bar which isnt being refurbished. The few staff weve seen have been lovely. During our stay there has been no entertainment on offer at all.

Lovely staff, but everything else was a disaster.
Honestly, I felt like I was living through a bad movie. There was karaoke blasting all night, no windows to let air in, only a door — which was a problem either way. Leave it open and you get the full karaoke experience whether you want it or not. Close it and the room turns into an airless box, and it's tiny to begin with, so it gets stuffy fast. On top of that the ceiling fan kept making this awful grinding noise all night and I genuinely lay there worried it was going to come loose and fall on me. Between the noise and the fear I didn't sleep at all. Then right around the time I finally started to doze off, the cleaning staff started dragging their carts over the tile floors and it sounded like a tank rolling past my door.
The next day I checked out and moved to a different place for the exact same price, and it was night and day. Three times the size, with a balcony, six windows, two TVs, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and two double beds plus a private swimming pool. Meanwhile the first place had given me one double bed and a pull-out couch in a room I could barely breathe in.

First things first, Hugo, your security man, is top notch. We had an incident with a young couple we met and he handled it like a champ, very professional and calm. Jose on the front desk is also a lovely man.
Food is absolutely adequate and I had no complaints. You also have a couple of really nice curry houses not too far away, I went to masala zone just round the corner and it really hit the spot. There’s Hindustani a few doors up as well which has good ratings but I didn’t go there. If you’re fancying the strip for night life it’s only 10 euros in a taxi, or about 35 minute walk.
Unfortunately we only had 2 days of sun with storm Theresa. Note that the hotel doesn’t give beach towels for the beds so make sure you take your own: there’s also no soap/shower gel/shampoo. We were in room I6 which is at the front, lovely modern rooms, and the fan was lovely. No air con but didn’t matter. There can sometimes be a wait for drinks as they frequently only have one person on the bar for the whole hotel. I think the 2 drinks per person is a bit ridiculous when my fiancé is sat just across the room. Who wants to spend their holiday both stood at the bar? Overall wasn’t a great holiday due to the weather, the hotel has plenty of beds and lots of sun exposure. Would have been great if the weather was better. We were glad to leave as a bunch of Spanish youngsters arrived on our last night and were very very loud until half past midnight, and if you want the hotel to do anything about it, you have to walk to reception as there’s no phones in the rooms either

Was okay. We got a very good deal so obviously cheaper conditions. The staff was lovely, starting from the people in reception to the cleaning lady. The room had the basic things you need, like a fridge,a small cooker, kettle and microwave. We did see a few little bugs inside and outside, but the entire island is their paradise so ... You know.. we are the visitors, not them. The food was again basic, the pool was large and clean but the water was cold as the weather was still playing out when we went there. Overall, I wouldn't select this hotel again but is a good alternative if you looking for basic, with good prices or just plan on staying more out of the hotel visiting and having fun then inside.
Is around twenty minutes down the hill to get to the beach, and as around 40-60 to get back... Lots of stops as steep hill...

Well this is a difficult one, for starters the room was fine (a bit dated) but you had everything you needed and a nice terrace. Clean and spacious. Unfortunately the room above decided it was a great idea to smoke weed everyday so I couldn’t leave my door open or sit on the terrace and chill with a beer as it stunk of weed from above!
Food wasn’t brilliant but ok, if you like chips and pasta you’re in for a treat. Breakfast was probably the best food I had there but one morning in particular all the breakfast food was proper cold, beans, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, fried eggs all cold for some reason.... maybe someone forgot to put the warmers on above the food but other than that its was a nice breakfast.
Swimming Pool was great and clean with loads of sun beds available and a very spacious, apparently one of the largest pools in the area. Bar was ok being all inclusive but the so called “free all inclusive snacks” always ran out so never got to eat any of them.
How to rate it fairly….. 5/10 on my personal experience due to the druggies above my room, the food same most nights and a cold breakfast one morning. Would I stay again? Believe it or not yes I think I would based on the overall hotel experience.
