We had a wonderful stay during December 2025 and would highly recommend the hotel for anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday. The bungalow was modern, clean and had lovely sea views with sun all day, so ideal for us. We enjoyed all of the food and in particular the evening meal which feels more like eating out, than found in other hotels. All of the staff are great throughout departments and the teams are small, so really feel a part of the holiday. All areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean and I loved the thoughtful and quality planting. Our stay saw the changes from a less busy period to the hotel being full, but still little volume in the hotel and no service issues. The maintenance team were swift to assist with the slight issues we had, so this a positive for us. We love all areas of Playa Blanca, so knew the location well and so used restaurants and bars locally too (despite being all inclusive). We booked our next visit to Bocayna and selected a specific bungalow for this, whilst still in the hotel. Thank You Bocayna Team for a great holiday.

Lovely resort, Wouldn't say it was for kids, as nothing for them here.
Would say more aimed at adults who want a quiet stay.
But if you just want somewhere to lay your head and have some good food, then can't fault it.
The food is outstanding, Staff are friendly, Bungalows are lovely and comfortable, although lacking in kitchen essentials if your going self catering.
Views are amazing, we can see the sea.
People have said its a little dated, but no worse than most places.
Plenty of shops and restaurants in the surrounding areas, plenty of nice walks to be had, and some lovely beaches if your willing too walk about half hour.
100% recommend this place, and would definitely return in future.

Wow what a place.
Rooms massive and clean.
Food absolutely delicious , plenty of choice.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially all the bar staff.
Location was prefect and quiet.
Pool area always beds available. Will be coming again very soon.

We. had a very relaxing ,quiet stay in our bungalow. Neither the TV or phone were working on our arrival and took 3 days to fix(English channels)but once fixed a v good picture )The phone was never fixed.!)The food has improved greatly apart from deserts and quality of ice cream.Despite those mentioned we had a very relaxing time both in the hotel and on the beach.

This is truly a Dreamplace! First of all we arrived at 12:00 on a friday. All we had to do was find our Bungalow and there was a letter on the front door.
We were welcomed with a fresh meal and a selection of Fruits and Desserts! We were randomly upgraded to the bungalow with a pool.
This gives you a sense of happiness knowing you do not have to walk down to the pool and lie next to random people. The next best thing was the buffet! We selected the all inclusive option and were blown away by how many options there were every single day! The food was fantastic and the waiting staff were even better! They were so speedy with main courses and taking plates away I was dumbfounded. The man at the pool bar makes absolutely outstanding cocktails and everyone was super polite and it seemed like they cared about the guests more than themselves.
The bungalow was extremely spacious and the terrace was ginormous. This was an extreme bonus which meant even the sun which wasn't there often could reach every corner of the terrace. All I can say for the bad things (there is a few.) The fact that the all inclusive bar is only open from 11AM-3PM which is almost no time at all if you fancy a drink. The pool inside our room (26) had a piece of painted wood covering the piping which is fine but when we pulled back this cover the pool heater (it needed) wires were cut and the pool pump was broken so we ended up with hundreds of leaves inside our pool. I have no problem with this as it is chlorinated but I just hoped that it would of worked it would ve made our stay alot better. The pool bar spa/pool was broken and empty and had looking liquid at the bottom. I researched it has not been renovated since 2008 which shows but apart from the bad stuff. This place is so good. So pretty. So perfect. I could NOT recommend it more!!
