My 1st time to this hotel, it's a big hotel, all bedrooms have a pool view, 3 glass elevators to all floors, Large restaurant with buffet style food, which is OK nothing special.
Large outdoor space 3 pools, tennis courts ect. Rooms are fine if a little dated, fridge but No kettle, can be gotten for a fee from reception.
Shuttle bus available 3 times daily into town or easily walked about 20 minutes, All in all a good hotel for a smaller budget.

No kettle and room was dated and damaged. Could not flush the toilet as the panel was broken. You do get UK channels on the TV which is a plus.
Restraunt food average with limited options which do get boring after a few days. Hot water/cofffe machine only on at breakfast not during lunch or dinner. The staff in the restraunt were great and very friendy to our little one, they were always happy to help. We found the bar staff rude, there is a blonde female who works at the bar of a night who was not friendy at all, you almost felt awkward asking her for an all-inclusive drink. The all-inclusive drinks were okay but we have had a lot better, the cocktails were basically from a pre-mixed ice machine, very average.
The location was poor. Its a good 25/30 minute walk to the centre and to the beach. The taxi's are cheap and are about 5 euros each way. The hotel offer a free suttle 3 times a day which drops you off at the beach but not the family friendy one so you still have to walk.
The pools were cold as expected due to it being Feburary but one pool was heated with was good for my little one as she was still able to have a swim. The indoor pool was not in use which was not ideal. The entertainment in the night was basic. We stayed the first two nights however it was poor in our view so we went out to the town centre on our last two nights. You can tell the hotel was probably a 4 or 5 star hotel back in the day but its been left to run down and is tired and dated.
Overall we enjoyed Lanzarote and we will be back but we would not stay at the Beatriz again as there are better hotels.

Hotel Beatriz, Costa Teguise – Looks Good From Afar, But Far From Good
Don’t be fooled by the grand exterior — this hotel is all show and no substance. From the moment we arrived, it became clear that the inside tells a very different story.
If you have back problems or any mobility issues, this place is a complete nightmare. Endless corridors, multiple flights of stairs, and ramps so steep they feel dangerous. Yes, there’s a lift, but unbelievably you still have to climb stairs just to reach it. Accessibility is practically nonexistent.
The food was another huge disappointment. Cold, repetitive, flavourless, and on several occasions the sausages and meatballs were actually raw inside. We paid for all‑inclusive and still ended up going out for dinner because the buffet was simply not edible. That alone says everything.
The hotel itself is run‑down, dated, and depressingly tired. It drains your holiday mood instead of lifting it. To make matters worse, you have to walk quite a distance to reach any shops, so taxis become a regular expense.
By the end of our stay, we honestly couldn’t wait to get home. This hotel may look impressive from the outside, but the reality is a completely different story.
I would not recommend Hotel Beatriz to anyone — especially not to those with mobility needs.
A few days after returning home my mum had food poisoning.
Also the pool bar is only opened when the director is on site

Rooms are big and spacious. Shower is fabulous. Good sized verandah. Decor is a little bit dated. Service has been good, staff are friendly and polite. Location is 20 minutes from the beach, Spar supermarket just 10 minutes walk, but there is a coach 3x per day.

Just came back from a few days stay at Beatriz Costa & Spa all-inclusive and here is my honest review.
We were warmly greeted at the reception with a super sweet woman who gave us a great deal of information. Before arrival, we emailed requesting a room away from the construction and unfortunately got one on the first floor directly by the area affected. We did not experience any discomfort or noise, but it would have been nice to have our wishes granted.
They have a car rental company station within the hotel at the reception, with a poster of a great selection of cars (see photo) yet they only had 2 cars for rent - which is a pity.
The reception area in itself is super open, spacious with a lot of mirrors which I really liked. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is really relaxed, you don’t feel watched or controlled which is a great plus. The incredible amount of plants are really cool and well looked after!
The location is ideal - approximately a 20 mins walk to the nearest nice beach & a 10 mins walk to the nearest Spar supermarket, and the way there is super nice and safe.
Regarding the restaurant, there was a great variety of options and selection of grilled meat for every meal. The fruits & vegetables were fresh and refilled efficiently. The desserts however tasted super cheap which was disappointing, especially since I am a chocolate lover. The dining area in itself is nice with a good spacing of tables, we just missed to have a toilet close by. There is no music which is a shame, as it is a super small detail that changes the atmosphere completely! The food quality was moderate, with breakfast being the weakest meal of the three in my opinion. The staff however was really really lovely, hard working and polite. They all deserve a praise! :)
The pool area is real stunning with a good layout, was clean and well looked after. One pool was heated but the others a bit chilly - refreshing! But the jacuzzi was cold?! There is snack bar with bakery goods / small sandwiches limited in variation and supply yet fresh and tasty.
The spa looks absolutely awful and very scary, it desperately needs renovation! The gym is located inside the spa area, meaning that the open times are limited to 11-18:00 which is the worst timing for a gym in a holiday resort. It is also really underwhelming with minimal / broken equipment. The sauna is not included in the all-inclusive and can be used at an extra cost of 10€ - we did not go, as we found it too expensive.
The drinks taste fine even though there are from the machine. My favorite was the sangria - highly recommend! :) The cocktails at the night bars should not be called the names of actual cocktails, like Strawberry Daiquiri /Mojito/etc., when they are just like syrup water. The Niagara bar was super nice & cosy and way more quiet than the main other bar area. The only option to get coffee after breakfast is by going to the pool bar.
Our room had two beds even though we booked as a couple. The balcony was super nice, spacious and private. The bathroom I really liked, it was modern, clean and with a huge mirror!! There was also great water pressure which I really appreciated. Our room was looked after by Luisa and she did an excellent job cleaning it every day and prior arrival. Thank you! The only thing I really disliked in the bathroom was the 1-ply toilet paper which felt like a thin cardboard, I believe that a 4 star hotel in 2026 should have at least 2 ply.
Every night, there was entertainment and since it is indoor, the sounds travels intensely into the room. The live dj music finished at 23:00 in the night. So if you are given the room 127 or any rooms close to it, there will be no sleeping until at that time for youuuu. I understand that many people really enjoy the extremely loud music as entertainment but what about the rest of the people who want to sleep earlier as they just came to relax?
I would rate the hotel and the overall experience a 3 but since there is so much potential and the staff all around was so kind and friendly, I would rate it a 4.
